It's high time we understand that politics is just a game of interest and these people vying for political positions are doing so for their personal interest and not for the interest of the masses that's why you see them not performing any of their civic responsibilities and duties as servants once they get into power, they are there to embezzle public funds and build their future and business and those are the setbacks we keep having as a nation.

Davido has already made name for himself and very popular so if he wants to venture into politics I think he's not doing that to get popular it will be for making more money because in Nigeria politics has been turned into a ground for making money

A good leader is the only thing that can change everything to good, police are only this way because the federal government gave them power and doesn't care if they're abusing it but with the right leader, you will see how this police will become good and start adhering to the law because the new president would want to emulate some of the Western ways of keeping the country filtered from the people who thinks they are supreme against others, so actually is hard to see the police turn a good live when our government is still ruled by this kind of people. We are the only once thinking our political representatives have forgotten there place as public servants in Nigeria because I am sure they do remember there place but because  everything in the country have been politicised is the only reason they believe nothing can ever go wrong with them even if they exceed there constitutional rights.
Assuming we they are representing have not sold our constitutional rights because of peanuts, do you think this politicians would have operated the way they are doing.

Truly, Nigerian politicians have failed in their duties to accomplish the task placed before them.

Many of our leaders de behave like dem be kings instead of servants wey we elect them as. Once dem enter office, dem forget say na we the citizens de pay their salary through tax. Honestly speaking, in Nigeria once someone holds a public officer they automatically behave like demigods keeping shoulders very high moving with convoys and top security personnels. In foreign countries you will see a senator trekking on the streets with other people and not using heavy security personnels but In Nigeria the politicians rule just to enrich themselves and forget about their primary responsibilities which is service to the people and proffering solutions to the needs of the people they are representing, instead what they do is to travel on vacations to foreign countries and can't even emulate the good life they see there and make Nigeria a better place.

Nigerians politics was built on corruption right from time immemorial and anyone that is coming into power is just coming to consolidate the corruption and bad governance that they have being seeing, none is coming to correct what others have been doing wrongly and that's why we are at this level of poverty, insecurity, killings and kidnapping but hopefully Nigeria will get better when a good leader emerges someday.

The issue of buying vote will is more problem because in that process the politician are spending extra money which known of them will like to over look if he or she is elected. The issue of corruption starts immediately when what buying start but with the masses believe that it there right to take the money, which I totally disagree with them because those money are meant for our project but they decided to sell it out just to get access to the office they wanted. What do you expect when everything now all revolves around supremacy and the only way supremacy will work for you is by having the resources at your disposal. So they take advantage of that position and make sure they steal as much money in order to control and be the judge of all. Politics have been seen not as a public servant role but more of a place where everyone goes to take a cut of their national cake as they assume. So no one wants to go there and not benefit from holding the position. As the citizens, we know our rights, but we don't have the power to fulfill them. Politicians have the full power and control over everything. After getting into power they ignore the provisions of the social amenities, because they have the power to do whatever they want including having access to portable water, and receiving the best treatment, and also the ability to travel with any means of transportation of their choice.

They were choosen as our representatives but some of them only want to be in that position for fame, they want to be popular and they are living celebrity's life. If they have a little bit of conscious, they will remember that they are not fixed in that positions for decoration.
