I am going to travel finally to Canada, I know many people would say that this is the last thing someone should ask about etc… that song is not important to me, I have taken care of what I could with my partner, so it’s a simple question for Canadian people.

Preferably, someone from Canada can explain to me if there are any regulations about gambling online with crypto platforms, is there any risks involved if I get caught, is it possible that the government can track my activity…

Finally, if anyone from there is gambling, is there a good platform to use specifically for Canadian players, due to regional banned games.

Curious too with that too cause I have a sister working there and staying for more than 3years now including my nephew and I wanted to hvisit them there for some short vacation and if ever I open a site is if this still allowed since its on different country. I was also thinking, what if we access a casino that is not registered in Canada, like most crypto casinos? Since we’re just tourists, we’re probably not really covered by their laws in the same way residents are. We’d only be using their internet connection to access the site, so I don’t think that would automatically mean a violation on our part.

But I don’t want to guess here. It’s still better to hear from locals about what they think regarding OP’s concern.

If you are in a new place for the first time and for a short time it is better to explore it all rather than think about playing, in my opinion, then you'll see.

I don't know your intention to going to Canada, but i have this suggestion to say, if you wont stay long, try to maintain distance from gambling while being there, but if you're staying for a more longer period of time, try to know the casino platform rules upon the use of VPN and maybe this could be the only escape route for you to gamble there, but you must still be smart at doing this, else you might get caught.

The use of the internet particularly in the larger cities such as Montreal is highly open but legally limited to foreign and local user. Although it might seem that you are not obliged to comply with resident rules, any device that can be connected to a local network is automatically bound by service provider rules and Canadian cyber laws. Indeed that the best move to do is to listen to the locals to prevent access blockages and other administrative problem on your vacation.
