One of my topics was deleted. How do I know which moderator deleted it?
It's not important to know which moderator deleted your thread. It's important to know reasons or possible reasons of deletion against your thread, because it can help you avoid similar incident in the future. See your deleted thread https://bitlist.co/search?author=Humman001&limit=20Every day I hear news about sexual abuse on children and it is becoming common this days and people really don’t talk much about it. I really don’t understand why an adult will choose to abuse a child sexually, is it that the adult has a mental disorder or they are enjoy having sex with children, there was a video I saw online that made me decide to create this thread in that video a grown up woman was making out with a boy of 11 years old and I was asking my self is it that she don’t have grown up men around her that can have sex with her or she don’t have money to purchase sex toy or is she mentally unstable. I also see videos of men doing same thing to little female kids. What is really the cause of this abuse on children?
Your thread is copy and paste from Sexual abuse on children.Word by word, no source link, do you know that it is considered as plagiarism? 33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.[e]
Plagiarism: If you copy some text from somewhere, then you should have a good reason for it, and you must link to the source. Doing otherwise is plagiarism. Changing a few words around doesn't matter. If we find that you plagiarized, then you absolutely will be permanently banned, even if we find it years after you did it.

my posts were removed too. sometimes it feels like mods just delete stuff randomly but usually there is a reason behind it. better to check the rules or ask them directly.

And what exactly do you hope to do with that information? PM the mod or...? Sighs.. just know you did something off mostly if you plagiarised read what tbtc_mt2 said you can't just take someone else's work and post here without a single reference to the original content. my posts were removed too. sometimes it feels like mods just delete stuff randomly but usually there is a reason behind it. better to check the rules or ask them directly.
This your post would have been deleted too if not it's a question that concerns the forum. I suggest you go read the rules and stick to them instead of unnecessary complaints. This post should be locked already.

Well, to be honest, I believe that you are paying attention to the wrong thing, and knowing the moderator that deleted your topic will not actually help you in anyway. What is even more important is the reason why it was deleted in the first place. Moderators normally act based on the rules of the forums and not influence by personal choice. Instead you trying to know who was behind the act, it will be more better for you to try and understand what you actually posted that triggered deleting your post. And the thing is I see you have actually copied somebody topic and post it as your topic. Someone even told you that under your post, instead of making corrections you are looking for the moderator that delete your post.

I wonder why OP hasn't been banned. Maybe, the topic was deleted for another reason and it was not due to plagiarism? my posts were removed too. sometimes it feels like mods just delete stuff randomly but usually there is a reason behind it. better to check the rules or ask them directly.
Moderators never remove posts randomly. Your posts were deleted because they had been generated using AI. Click here to read the report posted by macson.

The main reason was plagiarism. There was no other reason. Even though @tbct_mt2 has already provided proof, I will provide more clear proof below: Look at the image above, the OP of this thread @Humman001 opened a thread on the Politics & Society board today. I can't provide a link because that thread was deleted, but you can see what he wrote in the image. Now look at this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5572050.msg66314413#msg66314413OP @Humman001 basically created a new thread by continuing the entire post in this thread under his own name, only changing the topic name. And that was the reason why OP @Humman001's topic was deleted. Based on the above evidence, we are certain that he did indeed plagiarize. And that is why his post was deleted. But I am not aware of why he has not been banned yet.

The main reason was plagiarism. There was no other reason. Charcol, you are absolutely right, main reason this post was deleted is plagiarism. Clear evidence was already provided by @tbct_mt2 and Xal0lex also confirmed that topic was plagiarized which led to its deletion. You only had one thread, and it was deleted because it was plagiarized. Xal0lex later deleted their comment probably because plagiarism had already been proven by @tbct_mt2.

Right. I read tbct_mt2's post and it's quite clear that OP posted plagiarized content. My point was that OP's topic might have broken another rule too and the moderator who deleted the topic might not have noticed that it was plagiarized content. I assumed this just because OP hasn't been banned. I didn't mean OP didn't plagiarize.

And here he goes again, posting the same thing, and obviously in the wrong board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5582223Seriously OP, do you have a fetish with this or what? Also, do you actually read what you were copying from other users? You, just like the other dumbkopf, admitted to watching CP!

I can't really understand why this user isn't banned. I reported OP's new topic and requested a ban once I saw it. My report was marked as good, but the user isn't banned yet. The weird thing is that the moderator who handled my report didn't even remove the new topic. Edit:
The new topic was deleted as well, but OP isn't banned.

A learned mind ought to know that copying the work of another writer as yours without making reference to it, it is equivalent to stealing another's physical property. What the educationists call "intellectual theft". I can not know what is hard there for some people to add reference to a piece of information from where they got it. It does not make you un-intelligent to share other writers work with reference, it is rather when you refuse to attach a reference. I do not want to imagine the shame on myself after been caught having done that shit.

It's in the forum rules, check the link Charcol shared, and while you're at it, you might as well read this thread Newbies - Read before posting. Also, if you are going to copy and paste someone's post, make sure to cite your sources.

Besides giving it a spam connotation, it can also be seen as an attempt to exploit the system. Taking an old post that was relevant and republishing it as your own could suggest that you plan to have the same merit as the original author. If you did it unknowingly or wanting to quote it, you could always do so, but by giving an opinion that opens a path to a topic with different results or based on your opinion. However, given that the original post is relatively recent, you could have commented on it, which doesn't make much sense to duplicate a post if you're not contributing something different.

It's shows you are not reading the replies on your topic. 33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.[e]

tbct_mt2 already quoted the reference from the forum rules where it's boldly written. Read the rules. Read the replies then your questions will be answered.

Even if it wasn't I believe it should be basic courtesy or better still a form of common sense. If you copy at least acknowledge the original poster. Was it written anywhere that MOD don't delete posts? If it wasn't then why did you ask in the first place.

You are funny. EDIT: To add some actual information, there are no rules against creating topics about the same thing, but you can't just copy-paste the OP and use it as is. That is just straight up plagiarism, which is against the rules, and you did so twice.

Probably by responsible moderator or by the global moderators. But why are you looking for him? Deleted post likely won't be restored even you appealed. Well, everyone has started criticizing me. Is it written anywhere that I can't copy other people's posts?
I should criticise based on that reply, but leave it. Have you even read the forum rules that pinned on the meta? But you bother to create a complaint on the meta. No one allowed to copy paste anything without reference or quote, please read the forum rules. my posts were removed too. sometimes it feels like mods just delete stuff randomly but usually there is a reason behind it. better to check the rules or ask them directly.
Definitely there is reason behind deleting your post. Probably someone reported or moderator found it as unnecessary or spam post.
