Using small amount of money to bet since a long time ago and later win huge amount of money is the best. A good example is if you are earning $500 weekly, but you bet with $5 and losing it all the time for a long period of time, but later you win big, that is better and it means responsible gambling. Unlike earning $500 and using $400 to bet. That is irresponsible and addiction.

Sure, is reasonable enough to use small amount of money to gamble and be able to win big from such bets, the players must be some experts in the gambling field because winning a big amount with small bet have to come with increased in your risk since you will be combining multiple odds to be able to accumulate enough odds to push your winning reward high.

Most of the time we talk about staking with little amount to minimize risks, but do you know if that person that plays with a huge amount also see that money as what he can afford to lose. I was arguing on this topic earlier today with some friends and we discussing about a gambler who has been gambler for a while and a few win and also one big win over a long period of time but plays with less funds like uses small money to win big and  and one who plays with serious funds and always wins big ones in a while, the question here is who is smarter.
Some persons were of the opinion that the high staker is smarter for always staking high and that his returns when he wins will always be high and cover up if he doesn't win next time.
While others say the the low staker is smarter and would not probably feel the pain of losing if he eventually does and would make more profit if he eventually wins.

It's all relevant to who the bettor is and what amount of money means something to them. There are guys that can bet $1 a bet and that's a lot to them and there are guys that can bet $1000 and it's like pennies to them.

The smarter 1 is the 1 that knows when to stop. If they are up a few bucks and stop vs losing 20% of their bankroll and deciding to start chasing.

I would bet without thinking about winning a lot, since winning a lot would imply increasing my risk of loss. The statistics don't lie. The amount of money is irrelevant if we hypothetically see it as an exercise with infinite credit. It all depends on what bets you choose, how well each person knows about reading match statistics, and how lucky each person is. Both are smart enough if they have the ability to win consistently. But as a gambler, I can tell that the bettor who prefer to bet small oftentimes is quite smarter because he had set betting limits that would not ruin his bankroll, and when luck hits him, the amount of what he won will even exceed to cover up all his losses, and can even save some of it for his future plans in life.

While the other bettor who prioritize betting big, I don't think if winning big still matter to him, what he needs is a miracle to win the jackpot amount so he can still profit even a little of it.

If that's what you meant then I would say that the both are just the same because those who plays big might be lucky to hit a big multiplayer some day, even the one that supercede the losese they incur so far in gambling. and I also think that those who plays small is also smart because this would make them not to lose too much knowing fully well that wining might take a little longer before it can gets to them.

Every bettor and gambler should place bets that their money management allows them to. If someone plays for fun, then, of course, the smartest thing to do is place small bets and try to experience some excitement. But if someone believes they can use their knowledge to turn this hobby into a living, then, of course, they should place larger bets, as they will need to provide for their family in the future with this activity. If they can't turn this into a stable income, then they shouldn't do it at all. But gambling can give false hope, leading many to believe that luck is just around the corner.

I won’t say  the other guy waging small amounts is doing the right thing, because even with small amount he may still be gambling irresponsible.

There's no specific answer to this because different people will always have different opinions, and they'll most definitely answer that question based on their own individual opinions. But what I can say to this is that the one who is smart is the one who gambles with what they can actually afford to lose, whether the amount is big or small, it really doesn't matter. The size of a bet doesn't really determines the smartness of a gambler or an approach, that's one thing we need to understand.

And that option which you chose is exactly what I think the majority of our opinion should be like because as a gambler, aside from trying to make a profit, we should also calculate how we can handle both that profit chasing and remaining a responsible gambler. I would say the low staker is smarter in most cases. Gambling is very unpredictable, so risking huge money all the time can become dangerous very fast. Someone using small money to play is at least protecting themselves from heavy losses if things go bad. And if they eventually win big, it becomes a bonus without risking too much. The high staker may win big sometimes, but one bad losing streak can wipe out everything quickly. So for me, the smarter person is the one who knows how to control risk, not just the one chasing big wins.

I do not think that it is neccessary to compare both bettors, they both understand their risk tolerance and are staking what they can handle according to their individual capabilities. The smart thing to do is to take risk management seriously. The one who stake small to record a big win after a long period of trying should never be tempted to stake big money because he may end up disappointing himself and hurting so much over the loss of his money. Betting is still base on luck, so smartness here does not neccessarily depend on how much you stake, but how well you can manage risks and still remain consistent.

If you stake high just to win high, I guess the excitement once you win is not that much. You already risk a high amount, if you lose it, it would be a big loss for you. But if you win from it, it looks like you are just trying to recover what you have stake. Doing it for long term might put you into bigger losses than your expected wins.

But if you set yourself into betting only small amount, once you win, that would bring so much excitement for you. Your total wins might be 5x or 10x from your total losses, so for me, that is smarter compared to those who take high-risk bets.

It is very simple because gambling is a personal decision. Sometimes high stakers might be smarter than the low stakers because I have seen many of them complaining after winning, although I think it's a normal thing since even high stakers do the same thing.

If he stakes high because he's able and capable, I don't see anything wrong with that. He knows exactly how to play wiser and smarter in gambling. But if he is staking high just to chase all his previous losses, I don't think that's a smart thing to do. This is gambling, winning is never certain.

What I think is smart here enough is those who win and make more of unexpected profits than those who win but just to cover up all his past losses. To gamble is to take some risk, but it should also be calculated risk, not a reckless or a blind risk.

Yes, each has its pros and cons, but if i had to choose, i personally would prefer someone who gambles with a small bankroll over a long period of time. This isn’t just smarter, it’s wiser, because such a gambler has certainly considered the potential losses they might face, so they stick to a budget or more accurately, they only gamble with money they can afford to lose. Even when they win, the profits aren’t as large as those of gamblers who bet with a big bankroll. Perhaps for a while, the high stakes gambler is on a winning streak, but believe me, luck won’t last forever, before long, you’ll hear about the losses he’s going to suffer and likely a substantial one. However, as long as one of the main goals of gambling is to have fun, whether you win or lose, it’s no problem.
