A comfortable viewing seat, the opportunity to chat with the coach and players after the match, or something like that. Perhaps these are super-rich people who don't count their money, like Arab sheikhs, but overall, buying a match ticket for that kind of money is absolutely insane.

I can not agree it is a realistically possible cost if it were provided with extras like snacks and chat with players after the match. Fan love the world cup so much they would pay tons of money if they had it for the ticket but $11.5 million is insane. As a fan of a sport, that won't push me to spend so much money in it. But that's just me and I understand what you've said that if you don't have anything to spend on it.
For the other incentives of having that kind of ticket, IMO the majority won't be buying this ticket.

I wouldn’t buy the World Cup ticket for that outrageous amount, reason being that I don’t have that amount of money. But I won’t conclude that nobody will buy the ticket at such an amount because there are people that have money that can afford to buy the ticket and it won’t be felt in their bank account.  But on a serious note, that amount is very high, if the tickets are actually sold at the amount, there will be empty seats in the stadiums.

Honestly, this is a huge amount of money. However, just like as you mentioned, that is the real truth about it. It's obvious that there are many people who can easily afford to buy the tickets without any problem. But since it's not by force to buy the tickets, it's pretty okay. I also don't have that kind of money to buy the ticket. Anyways let's see how it goes, because I'm not sure if they can get what they want.

I don't think I can make a mistake in this manner to buy an inflated ticket rates, not that many cannot afford the price but because this is what the writing to be done, once they go away with it like that in this manner, it can become a custom that they will have to do it again next season, while the normal rates at which the sale they are tickets may be inflated as well because they see that some are being capable of buying at any rate, better to kick against such now before it turns to a usual thing.

It's better to subscribe to a world cup broadcaster, buy a big TV and enjoy it with your family at home or you can even rent a big screen to watch it for everyone in your village I think it feels good than spending that much money.
Even if I'm rich, it's a shame to reserve a seat for a million dollars, I'd rather donate to charity than buy that.

However, billionaires or other rich people are capable of this. And I won't even pay $1,000 for these tickets because I'm not that attracted to watching the game live. I’m not saying that this is wrong, it’s just not that valuable to me, and for those who value it, let them pay for it. Sometimes I even remember how I was at the World Cup in Russia, when Portugal played Uruguay in the quarter finals, I saw Ronaldo, Suarez and Cavanni, it was a great experience, but I won’t spend that kind of money on it anymore.

You are right, if they can do it successfully it is going to be a custom and it will never be changed or reduced but assuming this becomes a norm a lot of people will be pissed about it and this might reduce population of people that would be at the stadium, a lot of people will decide to watch the game from home even though they are rich, spending such just on a ticket is going to be considered as a big waste even to those that are rich.

Perhaps, that is not the only ticket that someone must buy before they can watch the match, I read somewhere that there were other tickets sold between $60 - $10k and I guess more is still selling for that range of $10k, this one that they are selling for $11.5m is like for a different agenda which will never turn out to be the regular price even in the upcoming seasons in the future.

Even the super rich elites would never spend such a money on few hours events. 11 million dollars is a big money that can be invested in real estate or cryptocurrency and be profitable. We are not talking about 11k which can be understandable but 11 million dollars 8s quite unreasonable to spend for nothing. That money can buy a house, even a company.

It was not actually a joke or a meme; maybe they might later turn it into that, but in the ticket-selling list there were categories and seats that they placed for that amount, which I don't really know who they expect to pay such an amount to or if it's just a means to reserve the seat for a few people before the World Cup starts.

I would completely picture some billionaire like Elon Musk to be down to pay several millions of dollars for the clout on the internet.

Let us face it, there are people who are rich and want the rest of the world to know they are rich and can do whatever they want thanks to their money. That is a behavior which is more common to see in the new rich, and not on providers of generational wealth.

Anyways, I can only hope this kind of markets actually do not exist and whoever could be offering these prices ends up being unstable to sell them, so they would need to drop the price.
