Whether or not you believe that gambling relies on luck we can now be confident that the bets we place will result in a win but more often than not the opposite happens. I’ve also had times when I wasn’t confident about a bet I placed yet I still ended up winning. This proves that whether you’re confident or not about the bets you make, luck is what ultimately determines the outcome.

Even in skill games like Poker or games where skill plays a big role like sport betting still luck is the ultimate factor. This because in soccer betting or tennis outside factors like referee bad decisions in soccer or some player getting injured in tennis these are outside factors determined by what we call luck. Not all my game but I have some high confidence bet depending on the condition that I chose when I place the bet such as high handicap points while I’m confident that the team will recover later due to their past games.

I adjust the value of my bet based on my confidence level but sometimes I intentionally choose low confidence bet because of the odds when I’m trying my luck.

Having high confidence doesn’t mean I have guaranteed win or high win rate. That’s just my personal assessment and it’s still okay if my prediction was wrong even with high confidence remark.

As I said before, having self confidence in the general life is not bad, but you should know that doing that in gambling is a big risks that no one should afford, because high self confidence could trigger you to start chasing a particles direction be is winning or losing direction which can deprive you of the reality of the day and end in a bad position by not having fun, and also in losses.

This is a risk I never considered, I gamble with the understanding that the outcome is unpredictable and winning is based on luck.

This topic triggered me because I usually see people who do place bet to gamble but at last they usually get their account drained and involved themselves into gambling addiction because to me it sounds too well as someone is doing a revenge gambling in order to receive what they have already lost?

Normally, game outcomes can be predicted but being accurate with that prediction is not something that happens easy, and it's a basic fact that there often some games that when we see it, we feel very confident that it will play out in a certain way, this gives or installs in us conviction which can later either make or break us..

Personally, I used to have full confidence in winning some bets I placed but looking at the teams playing, one is very sure of what the outcome of the match will likely be, but ever since such conviction or confidence lead me to betting all my life savings on one match because I thought there was no way I wasn't going to win it, and I ended up loosing the money, I stopped having confidence in any outcome at all, doesn't matter how certain an outcomes seems, I will still bet on that game like I am not sure of what the outcome will be, and this method have been very helpful sincerely cus now, I am in more control of my funds than before when I newly started betting.

You've said it all, confidence can easily manipulate an individual, it is very important to hope for the best, but putting so much hope on something that you lose at the end of the day is so sensitive, because definitely your mental health won't be at rest after taking that risk. Your possession does not signifies or mean trust, because is not every misconception that becomes reality. Believe me when I said these, out of ignorance and mischievous a gambler may end up losing some things that are beneficial to him, and they might live to regret that for the rest of their life, because no matter how they try it will be irreplaceable. You know, I have been in a situation with gambling where I was so confident on a game, I have staked on the game and was in deep expectation of the profit already, in my mind I was just impatient for the game to start and then end in profit just as I believe it will definitely end in profit. So, I already figured what I was going to use the money for and I just waiting but in my head, I was calculating all the things that I was going to do with that money but at the end, I lost the bet. I know how I felt that day.

There was also a situation which someone explained in their thread a long time ago, they said some placed a bet in a physical sports book, he sat there waiting for the match to start so he can watch it too, few minutes late the game has already started and was even coming to an end and the man started rejoicing, out of excitement he ordered drinks for every that was present in that Hall, he lost the bet and fainted.

Exactly, as even how good your research and even how reliable the source of information that you use, together with your knowledge and understanding in the game or in the sports that you'll gonna place your bet, there are still factors that can change the direction of the possible outcome, similar to what you mentioned those can affects the result as luck is not on your side so upset can happen and ruined your expected result.
