There are rich people who play gamble, and I think the idea is not to get richer with gambling. I believe the rich people gamble more for fun since gambling is not their main source of income, and each time a rich man looses money to gambling there will be no sleepless moment because he can afford to loose such big amount of money. If anyone thinks that gambling is a way to get richer then it is house you are placing a bet who is getting richer. You only gamble for fun or you need to be a high roller who wants to takes some risk and test your luck. Sports betting is much better if you are interested in sports, still it is not considered as a way of making a fortune.

I think you're being sentimental here about your view on the poor class of gamblers and just favouring the rich gamblers without real fact about if they gamble for fun or for money or not. However, if so, it can not be that it is all rich gamblers that gambles for the fun of it.

Money can not be enough for any body not minding how rich they may be they will still want more money to maintain their financial status since they do spend more on other life requirements. The rich and the poor they both gamble for fun and some for the money.

For the poor people, they take gambling as a means of survival and the only option that could give them financial liberty. That mindset is what drives them to keep betting even after consecutive losses, with the hope that the win would come.

There are many reasons people gamble especially the rich, and money is not part of the reasons why the rich gamble because they are not doing it for the sake of money. Usually the rich gamble out of enjoyment and relaxation even though some rich people who are addicted to gambling exists, but if you look at that number and try to compare it with those struggling financially you will understand that the rich is just gambling for the purpose of relaxation and leisure. Rich people who gamble actually do it for fun, and because they do not longer know what to do with their time and fortune. They have got all their needs covered and they have continuous inflows of cash to their pockets, thanks to their businesses and their investments.

Also, we should be careful and not to generalize and say all the rich like to gamble or invest part of their money and time gambling, we are talking about a minority, as the rest of the rich prefer to do other activities like golfing, practicing some sports, traveling and even getting money from investments as if it was a game or source of asumement for them.

Though, I don't have any doubt there could be some instance of someone who was rich and ended up in bankruptcy because of their addiction to gambling.

Rich people already earn a good amount of money regularly and have built a good position and that is why they are rich. So I think that when it comes to gambling, the rich do not think about changing their financial situation by profiting from gambling. The rich gamble only for fun because the gambling games are quite interesting and the rich get enough pleasure from betting their money, so they gamble. But the poor think that since it is possible to win a lot of money from gambling and they see a lot of big wins in various promotional videos, they gamble to change their financial situation very quickly.

Yeah, the fun is what attracts some rich men to gamble, although some rich people are not just doing it for fun some might be chasing profit at the same time gambling for fun, but to be realistic I have never seen a rich man gambling for fun all the one's I Saw here are all gambling for profit but the thing is that they don't rely too much on the profit aspect while some rely on it just few of them, and also they don't panic too much when they loss reason been that they have stable source of income, they believe that once they loss that they will still get it back.

I don't think so, the rich and the poor are looking for thesame thing in Gambling which is money, it look like this rich guys don care about money but they do, one thing you should understand is that human want are insatiable, for that reason the rich will still keep Gambling to make money because of unsatisfaction, but the poor will always be the ones to bear the cat. OP you seem to have a biased mindset about your supposed lifestyle or behavior of the rich folks... Who told you that the rich folks don't feel the weight of losses when they encounter one...Truth be told even the most richest men in the world also  can feel disturbed if they lose a huge sum of money either to gambling or to any other thing...See ehn the rich are likely face sleepless if they gamble with the amount of money they cannot afford to comfortably lose....That's why as gamblers, irrespective of our social class, our priority is to practice strict budgeting and ensure that the money used isn't what is needed for any important or basic need ...

Yes, it is true that the rich do not only gamble to spend their money, they also use different types of drugs, they enjoy night clubs and spend unnecessary money, make unnecessary purchases and enjoy life by spending their money in different ways. And they enjoy gambling by predicting the algorithm and betting against it in card games. They never think about how much money they lose while gambling because they have a lot of money. And the opposite happens in the case of the poor, they do not have money, that is why they gamble because through gambling they can easily generate money which can make them rich. That is your thought, but us being not one of the rich or even among the rich  people can just speculate on what the other wealthy people think.  Remember, we only know what is on our mind but we cannot read what other people think.  Just like any other average or poor people, wealthy people are also human, they can be greedy and at the same time they also wanted to be entertained.  So with that, it is possible that some wealthy people are engaging in gambling to win more money.

My take on this is that you are only expressing  your opinion and is not based on factual information.  I think each and every one of us should broaden our horizon and think and challenge our own opinion if it is an absolute truth or there are variation.  This way we can have more understanding on how the world operate and how people behave.

Being rich is subjective. I could have a few hundred thousand USD, and I call myself rich. Meanwhile, there is someone with over 1 million USD, and they feel the money is not enough, and therefore they are not rich.
Human greed is a big problem to most people in that even if they have money that may seem enough, they feel like they should multiply it more, and that is where gambling is taken into consideration.
So I wouldn't say that all the rich gamble for fun. Some actually do it to try and multiply more money.

That 2-3 % is very optimistic from your side when the reality is completely different. In fact the reality is that 0.01 to 0.10 % as a maximum is what we can really assume as becoming rich from gambling. I have seen a lot of streamers, both paid and sponsored by the casinos but also not paid from anyone and the end result is the same for 99.99% of them, during the long run they keep losing money, I have seen them lose like well over 100.000 dollars in a week which is an amount that for most developing countries is like 2-3 years of gross salary, so from gambling I don't think many people get rich. As the rich do not care when losing, I have been with some of them, I was working for them some years ago and we got to the casino in city center, they played and lost, then everything was normal, they didn't care at all.

You are making a point here and sometimes too I ask if it is only the rich that goes to such casinos because merely looking at the ambience of the casino you would know that it is not a place for the poor or average individuals because everything about it seems too classy and luxury so which poor person would go there to afford such a luxury at such casino as you have mentioned but rather they would prefer to go to bet house and paly their bet or they go online with their gadgets to bet. I just believe the rich gamble mostly for fun, although there are still some rich people who gamble to make a profit from it, but that does not mean that they would not make a profit from gambling even if they gamble for fun. Do not forget that humans always want more.
