I believe that there is more to this meeting than what meets the eyes. From what I can see trump is begining to realize that countries like China should be treated with respect because despite all that trump has done ever since coming to office such as the trade Tariffs that he has imposed on the likes of China they have stand out tall. And his motives concerning the tariffs has not come to realization and so trump is beginning to having a rethink which has necessitated these types of vision.
The war on Iran which has lasted longer than expected and with the position of Iran despite the military actions against them by the united states of America which China is in support of Iran and has given Iran the necessary support. And looking at the trade faceup between these two great countries which has lasted more than expected, it's good that these two countries should sit down on the talking table and iron things out. So this move is a welcome development to me.

Donald Trump visit to China must be due to something important, which is why he decided to go in person. As we know, relations between the two countries are currently tense, with the ongoing trade war as one of the key issues. Another possibility is that the Strait of Hormuz is also a particular concern, as this trade route is a critical point that will impact the global economy, particularly the U.S. itself. Hopefully, there will be good news from this meeting, although tough negotiations are certain to occur due to the rivalry between these two nations.

China is a very powerful country, and Trump's visit only confirms this. This meeting could be of great importance in many ways because the decisions these individuals make, which will affect the global economy, also affect many countries. We can consider the global economy as a whole, and fluctuations in this economy affect many economies around the world. Negotiations between two countries are usually difficult because it is not easy for two major powers to act together on certain points. I hope this meeting will be one where the right steps are taken, both for war and for the economy.

The White House stated that the meeting was to discuss ways to enhance economic cooperation. I personally believe that Trump has set his ego aside by attempting to negotiate peacefully in order to improve the U.S. economy. And it seems that the U.S. conflict with Iran has had a significant impact, where it forcing Trump to seek China’s assistance in addressing the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz given that Beijing has ties with Tehran so far. What are your thoughts?
So the country that had been comfortable with bullying other countries economically, is now seeking to enhance economical cooperation, by partnering with the same country it once bullied?... Well, I guess it didn't end well after all. I was very surprised with the news that the first thing that came to my mind was whether the both of them were planning some kind of military attack. Economically, both countries can benefit a lot from each other, but for the fact that the whole thing involves Trump, then it sounds a bit confusing. I honestly doubt if it has anything to do with Iran, because I don't see China adding more fuel to the flames, when they themselves can benefit directly. From what I heard, Musk and Jensen Huang were part of the visit, so this looks very much like a business trip.

That's not Trump who spoke in front of Xi. He's always telling how good and friendly Xi and China is. Bringing the magnates of several industries from the US to that meeting is something else. Trump did well in making them go with him in China. Xi sitting in that listening to what Trump is saying shows who's the boss. I honestly doubt if it has anything to do with Iran
The news are saying that it's more of Taiwan than Iran's.

Jensen Huang seems to be having a good time trying out the foods . It's unfortunate that what Jensen said earlier, about China making their own chip is happening because apparently China is refusing to purchase H200 despite bringing the CEO themselves.

Frankly I'm very delighted about the meeting because a lot of things have been in disarray globally as a result of the actions of Donald Trump, so it makes sense to sit with a fellow superpower to discuss ways forward for a global lasting peace and prosperity. Trump's irrational tariffs and the strait of Hormuz saga that is affecting global oil supply as a result of US Iran war, are key areas that these powerful individuals have to talk about.
With China's strong ties with Iran, I'm sure that their mediation will help to ease the tentions around the strait of Hormuz so I must commend Trump, on this one for visiting the Chinese leader to make way for a lasting peace. Hopefully in due time we will know if the Trump, visit will yield any fruit in the areas that some of us are speculating.

Jensen Huang seems to be having a good time trying out the foods . Well, no doubt about the chinese food because they're so good to be honest and it's not new to Jensen since he's a Taiwanese. It's unfortunate that what Jensen said earlier, about China making their own chip is happening because apparently China is refusing to purchase H200 despite bringing the CEO themselves.
It's just a matter of business for him. And with the rising cost of these chips, China knows where to source out the important components in making their own chip. The interest I think is still in Taiwan but with bilateral and civilized agreement, they're just fine until Trump steps in again just after this meeting.

Don't get your hopes up too fast. Trump said they aren't asking for any favors from China, i don't know if he meant that or he just said it so everyone believes that the U.S. holds all the cards in this conflict. Hard to tell what it actually is, but i think they need a favor from China, though it is going to be a bilateral one. Trump wants China to put some form of pressure on Iran to reopen the Strait, i think that is obvious, what isn't so obvious to me is what China gets in return for that "favor", if it is actually fruiful.

Isn't it obvious who own the cards now?! Obviously not the declining nation. He must be delusional if he thinks China would exert pressure of Iranians whom they buy and get oil from to open the Strait of Hormuz?! After attempting to put all that to a stop prior to his visit to China?! He failed woefully now he is left with absolutely nothing and no deal agreed upon. Not even for the billionaires who accompanied him.

This will not change anything, it's just a political thing where sometimes presidents get together, people make it bigger than it should be.
And I am sure of it because of the markets, you can claim whatever you want about how important this really is, and how it will show up later, but then I can say that I farted today and it will have a big impact on bitcoin and you will see it when the time comes and whenever it naturally goes up, I will say "see, I told you so", that's not how economy works, you can't just say it will one day impact and then claim it was this. This was ordinary boring meeting of presidents that happens all the time.

Trump and Xi meeting is stability summit i/o deal summit because both parties reallized their rivalvy is structurally and for long term period, beside that on theese meting no fundamental issue finished, such as no discussion about Taiwan, they still contested for info pacific and China still continue its dedolarization agenda, no grand bargaining that will change history. Before and after meeting none change, simply said no party truly wins. THis summit only manage competition not finished
Trump & Xie has different interest, Trump need to slowering down China, on the other side, Xi need buying time to maintain economic stability and buiding systemic power. From some news i got information that Trump asked Xi to help about Hormuz strait conflict, Trump need Xi's help to control Iran and also Trump need narrative for midterm election, but Xi not promised anything because matter of fact China ships can sail through the Strait of Hormuz safely. What's interesting is that Trump did not even discuss or answer questions about Taiwan. Does Trump realize that Taiwan is non-negotiable for China? Anything is negotiable except Taiwan.

These werent typical boring meeting, and they didnt happen often. This was the first time Trump and Xi had met since Trump's election, and also the first time Trump had led a delegation of billionaires to Beijing. This is not simply a political visit, it is also a negotiating table for bilateral economic issues as well as national and global interest. Believe me, we wont have the chance to see this happen again. We wont feel the impact immediately, but in the long term, there will be effect that we will soon notice.

But others have linked it to the U.S. conflict with Iran.
Iran is quite difficult to defeat, so I believe Trump is trying to build a partnership with China regarding the Strait of Hormuz blockade. This demonstrates a situation where the US is beginning to lower its ego for much more important interests. I don't think this meeting with Xi Jinping was entirely Trump's idea, as we know he is quite arrogant and finds it difficult to negotiate with China a country that opposes him. I view this from a personal perspective based on past performance with both countries which have had strained relations. Although the White House has confirmed the meeting as a strategic step to build an economic partnership between the two countries, I believe there are other motives behind this high-profile meeting. All the items given by the Chinese officials that were collected were thrown away before being allowed to board the Air Force presidential plane, is the circulating news valid because I saw it went viral in several media.

Its very rare to seen that the President of USA moves to other country to resolve regional issues especially the country like China. When super power countries leaders visits personally then the discussions are very important by economically and politically. Majority in both countries the conflict is seen on trade and after this visit of Trump global market expectidly improves which influence the worlds economy. Obviously in this talk discussions on regional stability must be held and especially on the reopening of Strait Of Hormuz because its the important oil trade route and also a very important matter which demands attentions to solve it. Both countries have strong economy and are super powers so both protect there own interests firstly but diplomacy is much more better than conflicts and through talk many ways are open to stable the situations to leads the world in right direction.

This meeting probably did not bring Trump what he wanted. Since there are nothing but general words at the end of the meeting. Otherwise, Trump would have already trumpeted successes and unprecedented deals to the whole world. And not a single deal except for the intention to buy 200 aircraft (like before 2047?), without any guarantees...
Until then, either the donkey will die or the padishah will die, as they say in one of the fairy tales. Even the opportunity to buy the H200 did not arouse interest, which is understandable, now China already has its own AI models, at least not worse, and they are probably being trained on Chinese chips.

China is a completely different country Although they are rivals and are competing fiercely with each other. But China is the United States' largest partner and supplier. Furthermore, China play a significant role in the instability of the Middle East as an ally and supporter of Iran. Therefore, Trump visit was not surprising at all, in fact, it had been predicted beforehand. However, do not be too quick to celebrate and assume that the economy will see positive changes after that meeting. According to numerous news report, the meeting did not go smoothly and virtually no agreement was reached between the two sides

Donald Trump’s meeting with Xi Jinping did not only focus on political issues. But it was also aimed at fostering peace for the future. And Trump reportedly viewed the meeting as a personal one ( Source). If this news aligns with Trump’s future plans then it is good news for countries around the world. And it will have a positive impact on the global economy, where it will no longer face difficulties due to conflicts between nations. I personally hope that peace will soon be established through this high-level conference. And all existing conflicts hopefully will gradually subside to the best possible resolution. We do not want wars that will only have a negative impact on the economy. And even affect countries that have diplomatic ties. In the future the global economy will continue to improve with peace hopefully that must be maintained among nations. That will bring prosperity to every sector of the economy or even to the main pillars of investment

But it was definitely not just a personal meeting. Moreover, since the summit concluded, neither side has provided any specific details about the agreements reached. Especially Trump, who is known for bragging and talking a lot. This suggests that they probably did not achieve anything significant from the meeting. Im not very optimistic about our economy in the future.

Trump visit to China doesn't seem to have achieved what he wanted. There was no agreement on Iran no agreement on Taiwan and no agreement on H200. If there had been a major agreement, Donald Trump would likely have boasted about it on his Twitter account after returning from China, but that didn't happen. Perhaps all that's currently on the table is aircraft and energy. But one thing I noticed from Donald Trump meeting with Xi Jinping in China is that it reflects a new geopolitical paradox the United States, which previously insisted it didn't need China, is now asking China for help in defusing the Iran and Strait of Hormuz crises. Xi is using this momentum to force the US to ask China for help, allowing China to manipulate the US and it's working because what the US wants isn't fully realized.
