Several years ago scam accusation against yobit and also a signature campaign opened with high payout rate but later they stopped promoting their exchange as there was no solution of the scam accusation and participants were tagged for the joining on that signature campaign. And you have got payment for about 5/6 years but now stopped payment I think you have already received a lots of payment. They should scam long before this. Anyway sorry for your loss (the service you have provided).

I am not opening this topic for drama. I am opening it because private communication failed, the forum is dead, the contact people disappeared, and old debts to forum moderators are still being ignored. Until Yobit or someone responsible for CryptoTalk gives a clear public answer and resolves the unpaid obligations, I believe people should be careful with any project connected to Yobit.

We are fully aware of the bad situation on Yobit; this is already a forgotten exchange until your topic comes out, but it's still good that you told us your story. This is a reminder that YoBit failed in their obligations and will always fail because they do not have a good reputation.
They lost that reputation some years ago, and as long as they do not settle all the scam accusations here, which I doubt they will, they are on their way to oblivion.

Probably you left this forum after you become a moderator on Cryptotalk. I do not check your account because of how you structured your post which is good.

Since I joined Bitcointalk in 2020, only what I heard about Yobit is that they are not a good exchange. There is nothing that you can do about this because the exchange has been reported to be a shady. People were advising us newbies at the time to stay away from the exchange.

Other things I read people posting was how Yobit are accepting spam posters on this forum and how they later moved to another forum which they created to continue the spam.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your replies  Cool

Yes, I know Yobit already had a bad reputation here for years, and I understand this is not something new for many old Bitcointalk members. Still, I think this situation should be recorded publicly, because in my case it is not about users losing money on trading, deposits or some campaign - it is about unpaid work for the forum itself. I have seen exchanges and crypto services scam their users before. Sadly, that happens in this market all the time. But when a project does not even pay its own forum moderators after years of work, that is another level  Grin Grin Grin

For now I just want this case to be visible. If they ever decide to answer or settle the debt, I will update the thread. Until then, I think the warning is fair.

Probably you left this forum after you become a moderator on Cryptotalk. I do not check your account because of how you structured your post which is good.

In my opinion, these is majority are always being face at the time a service is having a problem. However, in this kind of situation, you can also make a decision not to continue the service before the debt service is resolved. I think the reason why you keep continuing to work with them is that you have been working with them for a really long time, maybe a few years.

There should be some boundaries, even if you are working with them for such a long time. Example, giving a free space for at least 2-3 months, then stoped the service until there has some communication, payment or solved issue. I also on these kind of situation right now, I giving them a free-space at least 5 month then gonna to stop cause their debts service every month is keep growing.

I bet this is not gonna to end well for you. Majority you will accept they not gonna to pay you, and you will move on. I agree with @shasan, I believe you already working with them long time.... few years and got a good profits from them too. As someone who provided online service, always be ready to face something like this. I also soon gonna to stop working for my client are currently on my free-space service at the time reached 5 month. I will take the lost.

That's disrespect; you are considered part of the team or the management, but it's Yobit, they just don't care, they can scam their employer, so they don't have a second thought about scamming their users.

Yes, of course, it's been a while since we had a Yobit complaint. This is just a reminder that Yobit is still a scam and should not be trusted.

You should have known who you were working for. It's one of the exchanges with the worst customer support around here and even if you try to complain to whatever level, they don't give a damn. Just look through the past scam accusations.

Yobit even puts wallets on maintenance for years and does not want to unblock withdrawals so people can take out their coins without having to sell them for a giveaway price, and you think those guys have any humanity left in them?

I am sorry you trusted them for that long.

I believe people should be careful with any project connected to Yobit.
The community was well aware of the scam and warning users about their scam practices from 2017 onwards.

Ignoring tickets of investors was their usual method from the start, so it is not a big surprise they are following the same with their team members.

After CryptoTalk effectively died, the forum moderators were left with unpaid debts for completed work.

The people who were responsible for communication on the forum side disappeared. There was no proper explanation, no payment schedule, no official closure, and no normal communication with the moderators who had unpaid balances.

I tried to solve this privately first. I created support tickets, contacted Yobit support, waited for answers, and tried to get at least a basic explanation: who is responsible for old CryptoTalk obligations now, whether the debts will be paid, and when.

In practice, I received only silence. Tickets are ignored, no real answer is given, and nobody has explained what is going on. What makes this situation especially strange is the size of the problem. For an exchange like Yobit, payments to forum moderators should have been small money in the past. If even these old moderator debts are not being paid for months, and support cannot give a clear answer, then something is clearly wrong.
surprise surprise, who would have thought that if you work for scammers like yobit, they will end up scamming you too.

Maybe Yobit has serious problems now?

I do not know the real reason, because nobody from their side is giving any proper explanation.
since the cryptotalk forum is dead, it's of no use to them anymore. i'm pretty sure they only used it to redirect victims to their exchange, and since it's no longer working, they are not going to waste any more money on it.

For now, I do not want to publish private conversations and internal details in public. But I have saved everything: screenshots, ticket dates, support history, conversations, account data, and debt-related information. If needed, I am ready to provide evidence to trusted Bitcointalk moderators or publish more proof later in this thread.
mods don't moderate scam accusations, so if you want to post private conversations, just post it... actually that might get their attention.

Until Yobit or someone responsible for CryptoTalk gives a clear public answer and resolves the unpaid obligations
a stone would gain consciousness before you get a reply from yobit about anything scam related, they will just ignore this, like they did with many other topics about them.

I believe people should be careful with any project connected to Yobit.
not be careful, they should stay as far away from anything connected to yobit.

Yobit has a bad reputation since the last time they advertised their exchange on the forums.
Even if you made a scam accusation against them, no one can help you get paid because they have already left this forum and have received many negative reviews on the past.
So starting a thread against Yobit is pointless in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies, guys  Cool

I understand what you are saying. I did read many old topics about Yobit before, and yes, I knew their reputation on Bitcointalk was far from clean. But my situation was a bit different - I joined CryptoTalk as a forum moderator, not as an exchange user or trader. At that time the work was paid on time, everything looked normal, and for years there was no problem with moderator payments. I did my job honestly, moderated the forum, followed the rules, and treated it as normal work.

Of course, later it became clear that CryptoTalk and Yobit were basically part of the same ecosystem. But when you are working for years and getting paid regularly, you don’t expect that one day the forum will just die, contacts will disappear, and old debts will be ignored.

I’m not saying anyone here is wrong about Yobit’s past. I’m just saying this case is about unpaid work from the forum side. Even in crypto, where exchanges scamming users is sadly nothing new, not paying your own moderators after years of work is still a very ugly thing.

Maybe nothing will come from this thread, but at least the situation is now public and recorded.

So uhh you were fine with working for them indirectly even when it was common knowledge about their shady practice and scams of regular people?

Wish you had helped people on this forum with your contacts at yobit back then

But now you yourself got scammed and here you are...

It makes no difference whether they haven't paid the forum moderators, or they don't allow someone to withdraw funds from the platform, or they just cheat their users through their launchpad and the constant generation of new fake tokens. They are fraudsters who use multiple methods to scam.
You didn't tell us anything new that we wouldn't expect from Yobit, among other things, that's one of the reasons why they decided to create their forum in the first place. They wanted to take over the position from Bitcointalk, where they would moderate the discussion as they see fit, and to avoid criticism against them.
