I did the application yesterday
anyone know how often new rejected/accepted list is produced ?
the last one is for before April 6th ?
@everyone thinking about quick get and drop as I've read previously in this thread (and other coin ANN threads)
you will not be helping the coin this way,
if everyone decides to sell at the first exchange that appears the price will surely go down to .0000 0001 BTC
so I advise everyone to just stick around and help developer and rest of the community promote the coin
and to tell you the truth I don't know if its a good choice to actually have the coin on mintpal.com quite early
I think there should be giveaways, faucets, bounties to do stuff, games etc
before people start exchanging it (on mintpal)
so that the other people get some interest in it ... otherwise it would be downward price movement only
For more ideas we can look at BC, C2, FAC
since they have done quite a succesful promotion of the coins
and majority is still holding the coins and helping build a community around it
and making them go up in price

I agree about Mintpal, p&d is almost guaranteed, when it hits that exchange, therefore coin should be ready to fight against big dump. BC does good now, but remember that 200 sat time in BC history. The best idea for BC was it's multipool feature. FAC had bad time when dev was unable to distribute 15mio coins, because of wallet issues, after some time it was hacked with hard fork. Now it is still alive. They also have multipool in testing phase. Good thing about BC is it's speed, but I suspect COMM is also fast, PoS is even faster than BC have. Does COMM need multipool, I doubt, because of first year 30% PoS reward. From the other side, multipool can, but not definately, accumulate funds in COMM. In my opinion, it's better to let that as BC authentic feature and not implement it into COMM's life. That's how coin can avoid "copy-paste" critics. |

Hello
i just completed the application and want to state, why i want to join the community. after i learned about cryptocurrencies i got really interested in them. sadly the fact that most of them require miners really bothers me. this has mostly to do with the impact on the enviroment this energy wasting process has. i really see a great future in this coin, not only because of the environmental friendliness but also because of the way the coins are distributed. no "airdorp" or random giveaways. insted the dev or devs choose the best people to push this coin and i would love to be a part of it.

Luckily, the dev and the community selected 500 stakes instead of the initial 1000 stakes. It gets close to the end. But the last 100 are the most difficult to reach as those who are interested in and qualified have already applied. I suggest the dev to review the rejected applicants and give them a second chance if they are fully qualified. Don't use the word like UNLUCKY to kill their chance. That's unfair for them. Anyway, just have another 5 votes on Mintpal. |

Thank you, brightlight. It does require some custom fiddling (I come from a Mac development background hence I know how to solve these issues). If you are wondering how to proceed where you were stuck, send me a PM and I'll let you know how  . It requires converting the assembler macros of scrypt-x86_64.S to C preprocessor ones, for instance ( how to). I also sent a pull request for the Mac dock minimizing bug over at github. PS. posting donation addresses for a contribution is fine with Bitcointalk's rules afaik. Giveaways and similar are not allowed, though. No worries! |

Is anything happening with the branding
some suggestions below and something I would like to help implement e.g logo, cards, flyers, icons, banners, website layout
nice logo. Thank you for efforts, community i like you see producing well. Keep our thread active so we can have more people in board. There is 25 applications is now waiting me to check. Its good number we will really do and get to 500 soon. I will update now and then with this logo/branding concept with variations e.g. logo, metal coin version, sizes etc again it is only a concept and not what the community have selected please use the current logo for all promotional purposes   |
