VOTE MINTPAL! - NO SCROLL IS THE GOAL!

https://www.mintpal.com/voting

ok, my votes are at  30179-30184.

Impressive for the spirit of the community. we work together to help COMM hit MintPal, without any money votes.

Good grief! Forget about mintpal for now!

You need to resolve the 20% of the coins issue.

mintpal mintpal mintpal

This is just bizarre.  It's like watching a brainwashed cult.

I think the dev has made the 20% of the coins issue transparent for the community. It just lost, and all of us can supervise where and when that part of coins goes. All we need to confirm is that that part of coins are transparency. that's all.

SO JUST DON'T MENTION THIS ISSUE AGAIN.

Yeah, right. You just happened to loose it did you so you can no longer give away coins, even though at first you stressed this was a fair launch, with nobody having more than another person (to start) including the devs. This was all lies to push up the value of your coins. Just you guys wait for this coin to get on an exchange. As soon as it does you will see a little dump here and a little dump there. They will rinse this coin dry with their HUGE 20% pre-mine.

Too bad because I liked the name, but the picture wasn't big enough. You can't expect a coin to do well when its main purpose is to serve the community of a tiny forum on the internet and the initial distribution was to 500 individuals. Nobody will buy into that.

it's already on exchange, and the lost coins are visible, everyone will know if they will be dumped or not

Do you relly think that any real investor would invest to coin if he must every minute go check that the lost coins are still in that lost wallet?

Of course not!

I am a strong believer in this coin, but this is  very big problem we have here. There for I also dont understand the rush of developing new services before the ground = the coin it self is secured!

I really hope that Adriano can fix this, but I am also a bit surprised that in this big community he is the only one who actually can help the Dev.

Should we start gathering a bounty for the fix?

i am for that if it would help things. i also suggested a dev and one other guy did also.

Yap, but It will be better if we can solve this issue. By that, COMM will be perfect. Hope dev team can do another amazing job to recover the lost 20%.
By the way, our next target at mintpal is EPC

The dev has said this.  The dev has said that.   The dev has said nothing substantial regarding those coins other than he had a hard drive crash, didn't have a backup or an encrypted wallet stored on a flash drive, and is unable to recover the hard drive even though many people offered services to recover.  Data on hard drives is recovered all the time why is it so hard this time?  He doesn't need the hard drive recovered because it didn't crash and he's still holding those coins.  It's so obvious.

I'll keep mentioning this issue as long as I want.  How can you not understand how serious that issue is for the future of this coin?  That issue will keep the value of this coin down.  You talk transparency well I don't see it at all.

They could be holding those coins hoping to dump them in a month or more when nobody's watching and people know it.  It's very simple to understand so I don't know why so many of you cant comprehend that.

There have been many offers to help.  People offered to help recover the hard drive but the dev didn't  have any desire to do anything to recover the data because the data was never lost.  The dev has those coins and anyone with any common sense knows that already.

The dev doesn't want any help because the dev has those coins.  It's that simple and blatantly obvious at this point.

The silence from the dev is deafening.

- Reconsideration form page under development http://communitycoin.info/reconsider/ for the last chance (early 1 m receivers have priority)
-@Adriano waiting an answer to the PM
-We merged, Adriano codes let us some time compile and testing now.

Dear Community: we have to report an incident to you. This morning one of our team members computer had a hard-drive failure, and as a consequence many files were lost including one of our COMM coin depot wallet, with approximately 196.8 mil COMMs in it. Despite all efforts we are not able to recover the wallet, and unfortunately no backup was made for this wallet (while we made backups for other wallets, this one was somehow missed as it was created later than others).

This is the wallet:
http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3H

We are sorry about this incident, and we want to sincerely apologize to the community. Since the wallet (private key) was erased, it is like this amount of coins was never mined. So total available coins will be 800 mils instead of 1000 mils for COMM. This is a good thing in a sense, that it will enhance our existing coin value. We publish the wallet so that everyone can see that this amount (196780608.602771 COMMs) will be dead in that wallet, that no one has access to them. These coins will never be circulated in the market.

With the coin reserves left, we will distribute 2nd round distribution, as promised.

As a community, we are going strong, and with about 800 mil coins in circulation, we will have a better value of our coin!

So delivery will be done according to same route and the remainder put into the bounty budget.

After this planned delivery development team has a scaled down amount maybe 20 people more we can have.

We are working on the code to block this address as Andrino suggested here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6225750#msg6225750

2nd delivery completed

from the total ~470 people we paid, we removed following people from the 2nd round distribution:
1. Those who cheated with same account different wallet addresses
2. Those who cheated with different accounts but we determined that they are all the same person
3. Those we accidently paid twice (only a few - so many payments sent)
4. Those who did not access their accounts for the last week
5. Those who sold the coins and/or encourage others to sell.
6. Those who attacked the COMM coin and devs

so about 330 people in 2nd round
And for those who received 1 mil recently (after apr.10), if you never accessed the wallet, you are probably been put on our watch list
as for those who never access in about a week, we will remove them. So for those, we may pay the 2nd round later if qualified. We have 50-60 people on the watch list now

Our website needs to change http://www.communitycoin.info/ someone do the new site design better looking i can upload.

samysamy1 become my communicator.

VOTE FOR MINTPAL https://www.mintpal.com/voting
- Mintpal voting strategy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6196467#msg6196467

To get 1m COMM (delivery completed for new comers, it's too late)

You need to follow these steps
1st (use bitcointalk.org profile fields and put your COMM WALLET address in one of options there so that we can see)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile (Edit profile information - Modify Profile)
For example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=300952 Look at the areas where i put COMM Wallet

2nd (post one of the two Ecoiner.org or FB page with SAME COMM WALLET ADDRESS)
http://ecoiner.org/communitycoin/ann-communitycoin-comm-fair-free-distribution-pure-pos-premine-1360/
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Communitycoin/618494781563683

3th (fill this application form) http://communitycoin.info/apply/ (with SAME COMM address in your profile field)

As a developer I am part of this group and am just abiding by these simple community-friendly rules:

Simple FAIRNESS to the Community  is the main consideration.

Dumping comm at the delivery stage and encouraging others to do so kills community spirit... using more than one account to request comm or attacking the comm coin is not helping anyone. That's why we use blacklisting and group discipline.

If you have had your comm already DO NOT apply again. We check applications as fully completed by the correct forms. Everyone must use the application form !

Last minute posters on Bitcointalk (those who posted 50 in last 2 days or mainly one line answers) will not be considered committed members. Any other indications of fraud or tinkering will be noted.

I am releasing 400-500 signups depending on various factors... I will give a fair second chance to those who "wrongly entered data" or any of my own errors and omissions .

CommunityCoin - COMM

Official Website: http://www.communitycoin.info

What is CommunityCoin?

CommunityCoin is a pure PoS coin. In the generation block (number 1) of the coin, 1 billion CommunityCoins are created. There will be no more PoW blocks that generate coins. The 1 billion coins will be distributed to 1000 individuals, (look at the voting here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=557589.0 )  1 million coins each  (may be more https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=557589.0 ) , according to the rules, completely free.

Anyone in the dev team will only get 1 part (1 million coins), like anyone else in the community. The dev team will get absolutely no more than a normal member. It is a truly zero-premined coin.

The coins will then grow through the generation of PoS blocks. The PoS blocks will be generated after the minimum 1 day of holding of the coins (determined by 'coin age')

How does this work?

We establish a community and each of the community members has an equal number of coins initially (1 million coins each)
We then work together and increase the utility, and therefore value, by different enhancement/marketing/promotions, as well as technical ideas and progress . Everyone should have a part to play, and varying skills to bring to the table.
Remember, it is your coin, it is my coin, it is the community coin. So if you want the coin to have a bright future, think of something creative and good for the coin!

Who is eligible to get free coins?

In order to ensure the quality of people in the community, we set the following minimum rules:

Rule 1: Only Bitcointalk account created before March 20, 2014 will be qualified
Rule 2: Only accounts with enough contribution (min. 50+ quality posts)
Rule 3: A promise to deserve groups actions and take active role in targets given such as voting, posting, pushing it hard survival of a crypto.
Rule 4: Any post of wallet address in the thread will result in disqualifications (Bitcointalk rules does not allow it) Use profile fields!
Rule 5: We have right to reject any suspected ones which will not contribute or bad manners or simple bad luck due to technical errors.

How/where do I apply for free coins?

You can apply on any of the 2 social places but has to have your Bitcointalk.org usernames. Must apply only in one place, any duplicate application will result in immediate disqualification. any post of wallet address in the thread will result in disqualifications.

CoinPayments.net Community Call to Arms - Voting ends end of day 04/19/14 (Saturday)

The voting was going slow on CoinPayments.net but now we are up to 9 votes and 2nd place. Only 6 more votes needed to pass PotCoin in 1st with 14 votes, votes cost .001 BTC or roughly 50 cents and all proceeds go to charity.

THIS IS AN EASILY ACHIEVABLE AND IMPORTANT SHORT TERM GOAL!

Votes cast here https://www.coinpayments.net/vote

Up to date voting count can be viewed here https://www.coinpayments.net/vote-results

If anyone needs BTC to vote I am trading .0011 BTC for 10 COMM to the first 30 members who contact me via PM.

Thanks for reading.

-blue

Yes, this does count as cheating; 10 COMM doesn't even come close to 0.0011 BTC at current exchange rates.

Here are 6 votes from me on CoinPayments.net

They will be accounted soon
"Funds received and confirmed, sending to seller shortly..."

We will be first soon!

Remember it is 1 vote per person, 5 of those won't count once the vote is over and tallied.

I think the dev has made the 20% of the coins issue transparent for the community. It just lost, and all of us can supervise where and when that part of coins goes. All we need to confirm is that that part of coins are transparency. that's all.

SO JUST DON'T MENTION THIS ISSUE AGAIN.

Hi mate,

Please don't complain again. If you really don't like this coin, i would suggest you leave.

there are some obvious proof. But you choose not believe.

How can we do for you?!

Can someone explain how "lost coins" are being moved? http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3H
All I see is sells that exceed proceeds from mining. Its math.
its a pity because I had great hope in this coin but now I wont touch it with a 10ft long pole.

CommunityCoin Multi-Pool - Point Your Miners Here - Rigs for the Rise!

1. Follow link http://community.bitcoinland.org/multipool/
2. Enter COMM wallet address > solve CAPTCHA > Submit
3. Receive BTC wallet address to use in cgminer/sgminer config
4. Miner's config line will be similar to these...

CGMiner

cgminer.exe --scrypt stratum+tcp://useast.wafflepool.com:3333 -u <BTC wallet address you received in Step 3> -p d=1024

SGMiner

sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://useast.wafflepool.com:3333 -u <BTC wallet address you received in Step 3> -p d=1024

5. Mine away!!! Your personal stats can be viewed @ wafflepool.com/miners by entering your BTC wallet address assigned in step 3.

your missing a step here. After "mine away", then what?
I have mined on this multipool and received bitcoins to some bitcoin address.
How to exchange them for community coins?
I hope this is not some elaborate ruse to mine bitcoins for someone else..

Your thinking is correct.

Question everything and trust no one.

It's amazing how many people just believe everything they are told by people hiding behind anonymity.  This is crypto.  There a wolf packs looking for sheep.  Don't be a sheep.
I can see you all the time at this thread, if you don't want to hold COMM, just leave. Why always keep posting here? Though the issue should be solved. Give the team some time, don't be hurry.

Raised 5 votes after I confirmed votes in e-mail (after transactions confirmations).

As the 200M missing coins are kind of a problem I want to gather another bounty for fixing the issue.
Either a hard fork or code that hardcodes the wallet as locked are welcome.

I begin by pledging:

150K Comm

for a fix that is implemented.
Whomever is interested in this issue to be resolved, post in this thread or preferabbly PM me with a pledge. Most likely this will go to adriano, he is the one working on the fix right now.
But as he stated, he has a full time job and can't work on it the whole time. So wait a bit and see what happens.

Giving him some additional incentive is just right.

COMM is a very young coin and I dont think anybody is working full time on this coin as everybody has got their own personal things to deal with, while working for this coin.
The dev has already shown his good intentions by working with a community member for a fix.
He has also provided the link
http://www.coinexplorers.com/address/CKGK6MFmBkreG7k5sU8gDEJNVJ57QZtN3H
so that the community can check to see if the coins are getting moved or not, while a fix is done.

Anybody in the community is welcome to do the fix themselves and can take this coin forward.
So instead of screaming scam scam scam, why don't you spend your energy on finding a fix for the problem we have, if you are so much interested in this coin.
If you are waiting for some one else to do the fix for you, then its only reasonable to wait and give more time to the dev and community to come up with a solution.

For some this uncertainty surrounding this coin now is an opportunity, and those who are willing to take the risk will buy more from the weak hands.
And those who believe its a scam, because of this uncertainty, will be keep selling the coins. That's all part and parcel of the speculative free market.
Everybody is an adult here and are free to make their own judgement calls.Nobody is forcing you to buy or support COMM coins.

Tomorrow, this could end up as a scam after all, but that,s part of the risk factor the buyers are taking.
If you don't want to be that risk taking guy, don't buy any mate.Wait for a fix and more transparency, and if the price is right at that time, you could start buying/believing in this coin.
