What happened with Edgecoin doesnt mean its going to happen in Community Coin.Let me explain,Edgecoin was just in the ipo stage, they were raising money from investors. There was no pool, exchange listing or anything extra a good coin needs.Community coin is way crossed that part where Edgecoin's so called scamming took place.Community coin is being traded, there are 3 faucets, people have got their coins, its being voted to add on other exchanges,it has a scratch game and a lot more coming next. Has it gone to one satoshi yet? [FYI to newcomers: The above is an in-joke, referring to a far more aggressive trollstorm earlier in the thread.]

Here are 6 votes from me on CoinPayments.net
....
We will be first soon!
Wow! How'd you pull that off? I am afraid 5 of those votes may be disallowed since it is one vote per individual as stated in the official rules, so we still need to put a healthy distance between us and PotCoin in 2nd place.

I'm not usually one to side with trolls, and find their mindset of constantly repeating the same things over and over, typically in bright red letters, extremely annoying, but they are right about one thing -- the missing coin issue needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.
Get it dealt with before getting on any new exchanges, especially MintPal. Although getting on other exchanges typically can be viewed as a good thing, especially one of the big boys (Cryptsy/MintPal), unless there is demand for the coin, there is an equal chance that getting listed will just destroy the price.
I am not sure if the proposed fix is permanent or temporary, but whatever is done, make it a priority. Harddrive recovery would seem to make the most sense, unless the HD is totally trashed. Of course that assumes everyone is on the level here (which as always, is a big assumption).
Personally I find the missing coin thing rather bizarre. As if we go with the skeptical mindset and say it's a scam, it still doesn't make sense. There are many other, and better ways, of running a scam with premines than announce that coins have gone missing from a bad HD. It's an albatross around the coin's neck, and keeps the coin from reaching its optimal price. I won't go into better ways to run a scam, but I have only been into crypto for like only 3 months, and even I can figure out better ways... hence why if it is a scam, it's an extremely lazy and hardly optimal way to do it.
If on the level, there should be ways to fix things. Get another dev on board if necessary and have them look into it. Once that is taken care of, then worry about MintPal, websites, and other coin stuff.

I just talked to Adriano again and he reported he received some payments from the multipool and now tries to buy comm from bittrex and poloniex(each time from where it's cheaper) and after he receives the full payout on monday which is without limit he will buy all comm and spread it to the miners accordingly.
If this works out fine, he will make this the standard procedure for next week.
He will probably write some more later himself, when he has some time.
Isn't it better to buy for higher price to support COMM price movement upwards? I disagree with this. While this is certainly better for holders, I think Adriano has a duty to the miners to buy the cheapest coins for them. Remember that at least some of the miners will be people who did not receive stakes, and for sure I would not mine on a multipool if I knew I was getting a bad deal on the coins in order to line the pockets of others. Yes, you are right indeed! Yes, you are right.

As the 200M missing coins are kind of a problem I want to gather another bounty for fixing the issue. Either a hard fork or code that hardcodes the wallet as locked are welcome.
I begin by pledging:
150K Comm
for a fix that is implemented. Whomever is interested in this issue to be resolved, post in this thread or preferabbly PM me with a pledge. Most likely this will go to adriano, he is the one working on the fix right now. But as he stated, he has a full time job and can't work on it the whole time. So wait a bit and see what happens.
Giving him some additional incentive is just right.
As far as I know the developer hasn't found a solution yet and Adriano's solution was critisiced as being a temporary fix. People are looking for a permanent fix so I think we should look for someone else. Someone here suggested this person https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6269233#msg6269233The dev contacted him but hasn't received a response he said, so I suggested he offer him 2 stakes. It might help if people suggest a capable person who might help with this problem first before collecting bounties. I've yet to see anyone explain why Adriano's fix is only temporary. It just seemed to pop up from nowhere. Are you sure it's the case? eToken had a similar problem which a new dev tried to fix with new code. The post below explains the fix did not work, but gives no details, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=436750.0Adriano suggested a coin swap if nothing else works. I think paying a specialist company to recover the data from the broken hard drive is the best option. It would only cost between $120 and $580 maximum! Here is a link to a UK company's examples of Previous Data Recovery Jobs and their prices. http://www.essentialdatarecovery.co.uk/Data_Recovery/Job_History.htmlThere are plenty of similar companies all over the world. What symptoms does the hard drive have? Does it refuse to spin up, is it making a beeping sound, is it clicking, can it not be accessed by a laptop, is it no longer seen as a drive in My Computer? A data recovery company could fix any of these problems. Only the Dev has access to the broken hard drive, so without his help we cannot do this.

Finally the trolls again! I was missing them, I love them Guys, let's ignore the trolls,to answer is like bread for them!
I post what needs to be done to help this coin and you call me a troll. Besides, looking at your post it's obvious you are in league with these dev and cronies. You made this post on the cinni thread. How is that distribution anymore complicated than this coins? You have no credibility. I've exposed you. "If you want to give coins simply give them" You said that. Why don't you say that for this coin? They didn't just give this coin away. It was complicated. You have no credibility and everyone should be wary of you and anything you say. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.msg6263383#msg6263383Re: [PRE-ANN] Cinni :: 100% PoS :: Fair distribution Today at 10:30:55 AM Reply with quote #98 Can I say my opinion? Distribution is too complicated. If you want to give coins simply give them. I would like to partecipate but when I see the way to get coin I lose my enthusiasm Anyway good luck .. dear scam exposer u can check all my posts, I have not problem. Thank you. My intention is to try and stop all these coins from crashing and burning and taking a piece of the altcoin world with them. Since I have been unable to open peoples eyes to the obvious shortcomings of this coin I have decided to try and open their eyes to what must be done to save it. I don't know why that is so hard to comprehend. This whole "Get on Mintpal" is nothing more than a distraction and people are buying into it while the real needs are being ignored. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE THIS COIN FORGET ABOUT MINTPAL AND RESOLVE THE MISSING COIN ISSUE. 20% IS A BIG DEAL AND THIS COIN WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE UNTIL IT'S RESOLVED. Sorry for the caps but these people won't listen. They think that getting on mintpal will take them to the moon. That can't be further from the truth. Many coins get on the big exchanges and then lose value one the trading bots take over never to recover. That is a fact.

Although I strongly dislike trolls and find your motives suspect, I do agree that the issue needs to be dealt with before worrying about MintPal. But posting about it nonstop is a waste of time and just annoying. It's been what, several days, or maybe a week, since the issue came up? Give them a week or so, and see what happens. Even if they go the HD recovery route, it's not like they can get it fixed immediately. But yes, it should be a priority. There is no need to spam a thread saying the same thing over and over though.

As scam_exposer said, I agree with him this: People can mine any coins as they want, then sell them for btc and for btc can buy comm's. Its the same as multipool, for example I dont want to mine scrypt with my gpus, so I mine X11 or groestl and then I can buy for it comms or any coin. Sorry but I dont want to mine scrypt coins anymore with gpus...

You know what little boy. Kiss my ass. You are a liar and a scammer and you know it. I don't know who that user you posted is but it isn't me. I posted a link with you saying exactly the opposite that you say about this coin for a giveaway of coins. Nobody should listen to you. Those 200 million coins are not gone and you are likely involved with whatever is going on. You've been caught. You can't hide from your words. Today I have been posting nothing more than what solution needs to be done but you guys don't want it resolved because you want to sell those 200 million coins. It's blatantly obvious that there are many of you working together posting under different accounts. A good portion of the initial distribution likely went to all your fake accounts. Why else would people that obviously did many things for this community be denied a second stake yet people that did nothing received both stakes? It's because you guys gave yourselves the coins so you could sell them. This is nothing more than an elaborate scam. And now that it's unraveling you are moving onto the multipool. Why do people need you guys for the multipool when they can just use it themselves? It doesn't make any sense. You guys need to quit now and let this community control this coin. You must all be laughing at what you're doing. You make me sick. You pathetic scammer. "If you want to give coins simply give them" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.msg6263383#msg6263383Re: [PRE-ANN] Cinni :: 100% PoS :: Fair distribution Today at 10:30:55 AM Reply with quote #98 Can I say my opinion? I noticed someone always changes the subject when I propose using a data recovery company to extract the data from the broken hard drive. poornamelessme proposes the same solution, and other members have too. No, I am not scam_exposer, but we have problem to fix and I think a data recovery company could fix it in a few days. A coin swap would take weeks and require cooperation from exchanges. A code fix did not work for eTokens according to this post. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=436750.0To scam_exposer I say you made your point, but please stop posting in this thread. You were posting every 4 to 5 minutes for over 8 hours the other day. That must take a lot of effort!

Is there a list of the people that received coins available? If so where is it. I'll personally spend the time to go through the list and all 200+ pages of this thread and matchup users with posts and contributions. That will prove that what i'm saying about a few people working together using numerous accounts is true. You can PM me if you want but this has gone too far. I'll prove what I'm saying.
