If someone does not have the ability to do business, then the only way to survive is to get a job. Even if you do a job, you can survive well, but not everyone has that kind of skill. Not everyone gets that opportunity. Moreover, there are a small number of people who have changed their lives through jobs. But in most cases, it is seen that those who have done business have benefited the most. Limited income is not a problem if there was no inflation, but at present, the inflation rate is increasing, which is why it may be a problem tomorrow for those who are able to live normally with the money from their jobs today. Moreover, there is no guarantee that a job is permanent, but if someone can establish a business, then he can not only benefit from that business for his time but also for his next generation.

They have many others that are interested to do business, but because they are not financially stable, but to grow your self, you need to have a job and start to get some little capital to start a business, and later you can become wealth when the business go well for you.

Salary earners always get the opportunity to take care of there self and do many things they need, and when you want your life to be more better, you need to start to invest, since some salary doesn’t used to enough for some workers, they look for side hustle to double their funds to take care of there self.

Inflation is one of the most things make salary earners always complain that the money they receive doesn’t always enough, is because of the price of goods, and we just need to works smart and used funds that we have to makes it a ways of getting more money.

Dude at times what make some of us survive stronger is either business or Salary, and salary actually builds some people's foundation at the basics level, but where the bigger problems ai are, what are your plans when receiving the salary, because how you handle it matters alots, I know many people that are earning a very huge amounts of money today and looks pity before the month ends, it all due to poor financial planning. That's why we need to make make financial disciplines very relevant, having a small skills business aside or having a smooth investment going brings more additional incomes, but all these are being built with long-term patience, building it gradually and avoid anything that would put you into unnecessary costs.

If we are to talk about inflation, it also makes our life plans difficult to achieve a little because goods of price can changes higher than expected, the goal should be making an improvement to our source of income and and set aside emergency funds for any unexpected expenses in the future.

Just because you make more money doesn't mean that you have a better financial standing. It is not the actual amount that matters but where you invest your extra cash and how long you keep it invested.

Many change their lifestyle as their income rises and thus, as their income goes up their status does not change. So as well as making more money it's crucial to be able to save less than you earn and utilize your extra funds in the proper way.

I have a point here that I think is ignored While an emergency fund is essential simply hoarding all surplus cash allows inflation to gradually erode its purchasing power. but keeping all your extra cash isn't going to help it maintain its value over time because of inflation. In this way, after you've established an emergency fund some of your discretionary income should be allocated for long term investments. It may be a gold real estate or any other productive asset that is appropriate for you and your risk tolerance. The focus should be on ensuring that money does not sit idle and goes towards growing the value.

That's true, as inflation increases the value of certain amounts reduces even more. The amount of money most people earn in 2026 is enough to take them throughout the first and second month in 2013 but now that same amount doesn't last for even a week. it is not because they are stuck on earning salary that makes them poor but how insanely high the cost of living is becoming. Having a job is an advantage and it is a way to start something for yourself but in the next few years if the economy gets worse then the current situation will only get escalated.

In normal countries, where social guarantees are not just empty words, inflation is still handled differently. Of course, the poorer segments of the population always feel it in a more critical sense, their standard of living changes drastically, and it is much harder for them to recover from such a state later on. But the wealthier population doesn't turn a blind eye to it either. Businesses notice inflation because they lose customers and find it harder to cope with tax obligations. It's just that in developed countries, inflation is a controlled process with an emphasis on human dignity. But in post-Soviet ones, it is a way to profit off others.
To be honest, I can barely keep up with the financial demands of maintaining a halfway decent standard of living. Inflation is driving prices up so fast that I’m actually considering taking on yet another job.

People I know are also in a state of shock over the skyrocketing costs of groceries, services, and utilities.

Some have even stopped paying their rent or housing fees. The debts are astronomical; people simply cannot afford to pay.

The situation with loans is truly alarming. More and more people are turning to microfinance lenders just to scrape by until payday, and the number of overdue payments is on the rise.
Back in my country, someone could get rich if they became a civil servant, but because of inflation that causes price increases, including for basic necessities, working as a civil servant is no longer a dream for most people. Inflation really makes it hard for anyone to save let alone get rich, because salary increases don't match inflation.

Inflation not only eats up your money for everyday needs but also for buying a house. Nowadays, just buying or building a house is really difficult because inflation makes material costs so much higher. So what really keeps people poor isn’t how big or small their salary is but inflation that happens every year, lowering the value of fiat money. In the past, maybe $100 could cover a month’s needs, but now it’s only enough for one week.

Hmm, what you said isn't wrong. But keep in mind that the rising cost of living ain't caused by inflation alone. Inflation reduces purchasing power, but each type of goods can also be affected by other things like supply and demand, energy prices,,. so you can't blame everything getting more expensive on inflation.

Even if inflation gets under control and the economy grows, prices can still go up if demand stays high. So imo, what really matters is whether income can grow fast enough to keep up with the cost of living.

So, what choice is left under these conditions? Look for a second job? What else is there to do? It is the only way to maintain a decent standard of living, at least to some extent.

I’ve come to that conclusion myself. The only option is to work more, but that offers no guarantee of increased family income. That money will lose its value anyway—and quite rapidly and significantly, too.

The government is no longer able to control the situation. The economic climate is deteriorating. Bleak and difficult times lie ahead.

Yeah for sure, working more and increasing your income is one solution. But if you just make more money and keep all of it in cash, inflation is still gonna keep eating away at its purchasing power. Therefore, along with earning,  investment is another way to ensure your money would keep on delivering value rather than only depending on your salary.

Working more give us more income, while investing can help protect and grow our wealth.

Work+invest. Imo, thats what can actually help us improve our financial situation in the long run.

In my opinion the biggest financial trap is believing salary growth alone creates wealth… while inflation is quietly eating everything behind the scenes. We have a lot of unseen battles folks

Nowadays, the more we increase our income, the more we spend, because the prices of food, furniture and other items are always increasing. People's income is limited but their expenses are increasing, which is why the value of money is gradually decreasing and inflation is swallowing your future. So to protest this, it is definitely better to hold Bitcoin because Bitcoin works the most against inflation, where if you deposit Bitcoin regularly, you will be able to gain huge benefits from it in the future.
But the money you deposit in the bank now will not get the same amount of money in the future, so investing in Bitcoin is the best strategy to become financially independent in the future.

I recently had a negative experience with investments myself; I lost nearly 20% of my initial capital. The fact is, investments don't always generate extra income—it is a high-risk endeavor. I want to reiterate that point once again.

And how many people do you know who are successful at investing? You could count them on the fingers of one hand.

And how many people do you know who are successful at investing? You could count them on the fingers of one hand.

But do you know what causes most people to lose money in investing? It's pure greed, wanting to make millions from pocket change, or trying to get rich quick overnight. Or they enter the market without any thorough preparation and just invest blindly based on other people's tips. Or worse, plain overconfidence...
Investing isn't hard. The hard part is making huge profits, and unfortunately, most people always choose to take the hardest path possible.

Nothing is guaranteed. But if you stick with gold and Bitcoin and commit to holding for at least 5 years, I believe the chance of losing money is pretty close to zero.

Inflation, energy crisis, high demand, low supply, all these things together actually make the financial situation out of control. There is no way to control these things, and most governments can never give a good solution to these issues. And so there is no way to control it, and each person has to focus on their only source of income, to see if they are earning at the rate at which they are spending. It is not possible to survive without multiple sources of income in the present time.
Do not wait for inflation to decrease, it will never decrease, but focus on increasing your income, increase your income, you have to think about doing what is necessary and possible. Inflation is not only for you but for the people of the whole country, and so you alone cannot change it, and so think about yourself, everyone has to do this, how to increase your income is the only solution.

Earning good salary alone will neither make someone rich nor poor, but in an economy where inflation has stepped in, surviving with salary alone can be very challenging because price of goods, and services goes up, and in such situation if your salary is good enough to take care of your responsibilities, making good savings could be another big challenge. However, the only way one can beat inflation is by investing your money, it could be in stocks, Bitcoin, gold etc. The reason being that these assets sustain the value of fiat currency, and as well as adding value to it. Keeping your money in these assets mentioned is far more profitable than leaving your fund in your bank account because their the same inflation will further depreciate the value of your money.

Yes good investment is all needed to outsmart inflation and its accomplished. Many with good paying jobs that depends only on their salaries ends up in tears at there retirement because the little they claimed to have saved can never be enough to pay bills for then.
Most people finds favour in sight of god and are blessed with good jobs with a welcoming salary while many do not have the opportunity but the truth is, with or without a good paying job, proper or good investment is the only answer to it all because if properly managed,  at the time of retirement that business will be there to help solve once financial problems.

There are lot of solutions to the current inflation than only investing in a safe haven asset.Since fiat is losing it’s purchasing power due to the current inflation it would be encouraged that individuals should have more than one source of income, having one source of income in this inflationary period is just like challenging the economic that you can strive, fortunately we can strive because we’ve been striving ever since everything changed but the good thing is when you strive spectacularly by coming up with incredible financial plans that would generate massive amounts of money in this economy.Lastly, when investing in an asset don’t allow the perception of making quick money push you into investing on ponzi scheme.

Everything comes with risks, bruv.

If you just hold cash, inflation is gonna eat away at your money, your purchasing power keeps dropping, and you may end up working your ass off your whole life just to cover the basic needs. Investing, on the other hand, is definitely risky, sometimes very risky. But it also gives you a chance to grow your wealth and improve your financial situation, or even get rich if you're actually good at it.

Investing comes with risk, but the reward is damn well worth trade off. Meanwhile with fiat you basically cannot win, your money just keeps losing value bit by bit, its only a matter of time.

At the end of the day, pick your poison.

Why not consider starting your own business? Personally, I find that more appealing than simply throwing money into high-risk ventures. Yes, running a business involves risks too, but at least there’s a tangible asset base involved. If things don’t work out, you can sell off valuable assets to recoup some funds—something I can’t say for investments.

Besides, investment opportunities have deteriorated significantly; many stock markets are inaccessible due to sanctions, and I have absolutely no desire to get involved in the domestic market.

Salary increases typically range from 1% to 5% annually—sometimes even less than 1%—whereas inflation can soar to 10–15% per year. Although government reports claim inflation is only a few percent, the reality is that the costs of education and healthcare, as well as the prices of basic necessities, rise by more than 10% annually. My parents used to say they could buy a house after working for ten years; yet today, in a similar job, I find that my salary barely covers daily living expenses. I recall my parents spending about 30% of their income on daily needs based on the cost of living at the time. Nowadays, however, I believe the average person earning the minimum wage in my country cannot even manage to set aside any portion of their pay for savings. Indeed, inflation has truly widened the gap between the rich and the poor.

Nah, honestly there isn't that many solutions for inflation, we don't really have that many options. Other than boosting income and investing to preserve purchasing power or grow your wealth, I don't really see what else we can pick from.

So which one's better? In my book, both of those things are equally important. Only focus on earning more without investing, that extra income still gets eaten away by inflation over time. Focus on investing only without improving your income, building up wealth gets way harder, hard to move the needle in any big way.

So the only real solution is to do both.

As much as investing into different asset class is becoming more popular, it's mainly useful for someone that lacks a good business he Intends going into and rather than sit back and allow his money wallow in the bank and get eaten by inflation, he chooses to invest in an asset that yields returns after a set time frame.

That aside, if you have a good business to execute, the risk is going to be quite minimal because all asst you're going to buy is still going to be yours and with time, you can decide to resell it at an higher rate. The goal is to get involved in something or things that stands to increase your overall worth in the long run.

My financial situation is becoming so dire that I really need to come up with a plan. It’s a choice between getting a second job—leaving me with virtually no time for a personal life or even sleep—and somehow starting a small business to generate extra income. But will that actually happen, and how soon? That is a whole other story. A business requires not just starting up, but also building momentum and getting the word out. And if I’m barely scraping by, how can I possibly pull that off? These are the questions weighing on my mind right now as I consider the potential consequences.

The main issue is that inflation is increasing and salary is not increasing in the same proportion that would neutralize its effects on citizens, to have the same purchasing power, salary increase should be concurrent with inflation increase.

Inflation isn't really a very bad thing, it's better than deflation since it encourages consumption which encourages capitalism that boosts country economy, but it is increasing at much higher amounts than nations can sustain, nor can they increase earnings correspondingly. I agree that it would only get worse in the future, especially for countries with more unstable economy.
