Just my personal opinion, confidence usually a sign for me that I’m in total control on how I can enjoy my game. I’m not confident that I will guarantee win in the long run rather on every bet I put my trust that it will win.

You are right about this, I am using small amount of money to gamble, but there are some matches that I will fee like I should use more about of money to gamble. Example of the recent one is the match between Arsenal and Burnley today. The odd is low which is not more than 1.08. This is enough to make som gamblers think twice because we know that Arsenal is going to win the match. Bit instead of going with higher amount of money, I bet just on the first half which is 1.35 odds just because I prefer to lose small amount of money that to use high amount of money to bet on small odds.

Confidence is not bad but should not be taken as a behavior that could bring you winnings always,  at some point its okay to take a rest when you're having a bad day.

Someone with overconfidence would make further deposit even after multiple losses rather than withdrawing for a while to recollect your thoughts. I lost a couple bets yesterday which I placed before the start of the match, but the bets failed after a couple of successful games so I took a break. Well, confidence can make or mar anyone, it all depends on what the gambler is confident on, being confident in the right team or sports or match can make you, atleast, you bet and win some money no matter how small or big.
But being confident in the wrong team or sports or match can mar the gambler, because when he places his bets, he will eventually lose and his money is gone.

And now, the big question would be, how do we know if the team we are being confident in is the right or wrong one? Some how, i feel we can never really find answers to this type of question and this is where it becomes very important we limit our confidence in any team so long as it involves we spending our hard earned money on betting on such a team, because anything can happen that will cause that team to lose, this helps us limit how much money we put at risk betting on such team.

The thing here is that we should not treat our confidence as an absolute win.  Even though we have the confidence that we have a higher chance of winning, we must also consider that in every bet, there is always a probability that we will lose.  This way, we won't be disappointed and we will always be conservative in ways we are spending money in our betting activities.

I agree that luck is the biggest factor in each game result.  It defines whether we will win or lose in our bet.  Even if we are almost certain that we will win, there is always this possiblity of last-minute change that will affect the result of the game

I tend to use my confidence on poker with a little bit mix of bluff to fully execute a well plan and move. Opponents on poker are wise and clever so you need to be confident like when you are betting too or raising the bet even its just a bluff. But for slots haha I really jist play my luck and having confidence there wouldnt be helpful at all.

Maybe fot some other games or gambling. Sports betting is also nice game to use your confidence.

I have a friend who always bets with a fixed amount on every bet. No matter the type of bet, whether it's a single bet or a parlay, I always see him using a fixed amount. 
I believe confidence can influence the amount you bet. Some gamblers lose all their confidence when placing a bet and will depend on luck. Being overconfident might affect the level of stress and disappointment when losing.
