I feel that people who win avoid getting into the limelight. They maintain a low profile so that no one casts an evil eye on them or becomes jealous of them. In my life, I haven’t seen many people winning, but I have witnessed people losing all their wealth in gambling casinos. Technically, if you gamble for long enough, you will only end up losing money. Also, don’t fall for the trap of these casino posts. Casinos post them purely for marketing purposes. 90 percent of the time, the jackpot winners are fake or scripted.

Initially, gambling is made for players to be less favour but favour the casino's owners the most, and players are to be aware of this, to keep them protected by mostly rely on their budget and know when to walk away without actually being harm or being told. Also, if one doesn't hit it big should not feel too eager to win from gambling because playing with what they can afford and being satisfied with any outcome that comes from gambling is the only way they can stop constant losses.

This is a question with a complicated answer. For example, in my case, I've seen people who have greatly improved their lives because of gambling, but these were special cases. I consider them special because they are people who played the lottery and won a lot of money, played Aviator and won a lot of money, made sports bets and won a lot of money, and they all posted about their winnings and are well-known people. There exist no such people. There have been occasional one-off big winners that have managed to retain the money and not lose it again, but that huge win came after a lifetime of undocumented losses which can easily amount more to the total "large winning". Some idiots on this forum will find some exceptions to this rule to try to invalidate the claim that you can't get rich by pure gambling, see 1 guy on the internet allegedly did -- they do this precisely because they are delusional idiots. A few exceptional cases does not defeat the rule, they are outliers and can be ignored. The only way that you can make real money is by becoming a top competitive, professional gambler like in poker. Anything else is an illusion.

I don't know someone personally but there's a lot of people in our country who won the lottery and it actually change their life, from a hardworking man that retires to enjoy his winning and to someone who get blind by fortune and gets back to being poor again, I think there's a similar stories that was posted here. It's true that there's a lot of people who made it through gambling but they're only few, there's still a lot of people who are losing to gambling compared to those who one.

This does not mean that their life has changed, it means the exact opposite of what you wrote. They won, ruined their opportunity, and continued to be the same poor idiots as before.

There is no way you can build financial success through gambling winnings, even those that are winning jackpot are not even spear from that realities, gambling is filledwith tempting outcome and results and before a player can win some amount that can amount to anything tangible, he must have lost alot earlier and even after the winnings, their will still put back alot of that won amount back into the game eventually.

Well, According to house edge, gamblers are basically meant to lose more than they win in gambling, but if it happens to be the reverse in a particular case for a particular person, then it means only one thing, and that is that such person is incredibly lucky, and people who fall in this category are quite few and mostly not the best gamblers. And the rest? kinda just ends up repeating the whole process.

Not entirely in life but long time ago, it's like a life crisis when there's no one for me to help and that's only through gambling. It was a temporary solution for me and I understand that it's not going to give me the kind of life that the lucky ones have got from it. The impact was so short and I was happy about it and that's why whenever I gamble these days, I only do it for fun and not for aiming for so much money compared to that past life of mine when I think everyone has got the same experience that we have found gambling as a resort.

I never meet the person who becomes a rich from gambling. Mostly becoming poor and don't have anything and the worst, they becoming crazy without having a chance to get rehabilitation. They obsessed becoming a rich but unfortunately, that will depend on how good their luck. I know 2 people who claim to be successful at gambling in long term, but they are also notorious liars who like to boost their ego. They aren't even successful in life, and have constant hustles going on that fail all the time. They never accept responsibility about anything, but their losses and mistakes are always fault of others.

They blame losing money for not having a money, and they don't see any irony in that. I don't know if i believed them if i didn't know them, but as i know them, i am guessing that most people who brag with their gains, have similar personality types.

Yes, it is happening that some people would win high amount of money. But according to some researches, most of these people do not know other ways to make money but they will prefer to increase the amount they are risking  to gamble and later they will become poor again.

Another one are people that Satofan44 pointed out. They would have lost huge amount of money that people will not talk about, but they will only know about the money that they won.

Most gamblers are losing. This should teach people a lesson that gambling is not a means of making money, but I still know some people will still want to try their luck with high amount of money, which will make their life miserable.

High expectations of winning is what put alot of gambler's into a bad condition in gambling most times we see that gambler's fsll off from taking gambling as just means of getting entertainment to be some sources of income or even going further to expect that they can get rich from gambling but the reality os very different, this individual misconception about gambling is what put them In bad conditions in gambling, the main purpose of gambling should be for entertainment and not profits making.

Personally, I don't know anyone, but I know there are jackpot lottery winners who could have made it through gambling. Just keep in mind they aren't long term gamblers, neither turned gambling into their job. They were simply lucky to hit a huge prize spending cheap money and decided to use that money to have a more comfortable life.

Everyone else trying to make a living from gambling are going to lose, because there is a house edge working against them. In gambling, you have to be lucky to win huge on short run, then quit forever if you don't want to lose money anymore.

My sibling friend won an amount so big that they went from rented home to their personal home, this was the most successful gambler I have seen as a person and not the internet win that are been discussed on social media. However, I have some people that are very good in gambling and they have make good money but this people are so big that they don't bet small amounts of money, they stake high to make big money and that's what work for them, I don't copy their style.

However, people need to be inform that the winning they are seeing online is not only the story, there is money loss in all these process but they don't share their losses in gambling. There is loss in gambling that is not talk about, just because these guys show their games and their win doesn't mean it was smooth process, there is huge loss as well but nobody discussed or want to hear about loss that's why they are not discussed.

If the winner comes from a casino, I don't think he will announce it to the world because he knows that behind that huge wins are small loses that is even bigger than his winnigs, so he choose not, and if its coming from a lottery he will choose not to announce it also for fear of endangering his life and of people close to him especially if he is coming from a third world country.
There are a few people who made it through gambling, and we have popular names and unknown, but the number is not even comparable to the number of losers, which is so many.

This is a kind of question that does the job of letting players understand that it's very rare to build financial success through gaming, a gambler could win big, and go back to wherever position they were financially before the wins came. Gambling has made people rich, but the wealth didn't endure, because the source isn't a strong foundation to build wealth upon. Countless. They are flying all over the internet. That is just few in the many people that are actually gambling. Honestly i haven't heard of any one personally. I don't have friends that gambling like that. They do but not too serious about it. But we all know that some people like to stay private. So that could be why we don't hear or see enough people that actually win in gambling. But another angle i want to point at is that. There are not much people that actually win in gambling or got their lives changed through gambling. The majority win and the few win. We can just attribute it to gambling but there is one thing i have come to realise. This happens in all fields of life. The majority loss or earn little, why the minority win or earn big. The same thing.

Nothing was ever built for you to acutally win. Let's be frank with ourselves. I don't gamble because i want to win big. I do it for fun and i will keep it that way. Gambling can never be for wealth building except you want to do the business of gambling than actually gambling yourself.

I have heard of people winning big amounts from gambling before, but I rarely see someone become truly successful in life only because of gambling. Most of the real long term success stories usually come from business, investing or stable work, not gambling alone. Take someone who wins a huge sports bet or jackpot and buys a car or starts a small business with the money. That can definitely improve their life for a while. But many people also end up losing the money again because gambling is unpredictable. So while gambling can sometimes change someone’s situation temporarily, I don’t think it is a reliable way for an average person to become rich permanently.
