I have an elder cousin who is a civil engineer. He used to earn a decent salary but after getting into gambling. He started losing interest in his job and his focus shifted completely. Yesterday he told me that.

Well sincerely speaking this last part of your statement is the main reason people get addicted to Gambling, when normal work becomes too boring they find means of making quick profit and Gambling seams to suite there quest, and when they gamble and win fast enough it feels like their dream of quick money has been achieved, but however when they start losing fast they get frustrated and go back to their normal hustling. And guess what? the normal work will be more boring than ever because they have used their salary to gamble and lost it, and it will take more time than ever to recieve another salary if they depends on salary work though. I'm not an addict when it comes to gambling but, sometimes, I also feel like d salary comes a bit too slow but honestly it's not because of gambling. If gambling is seriously affecting ur social, financial, and/or economical life negatively, then ur an addict to it. U need medical help ASAP.

I do gamble from time to time, but I'm not deeply invested in it, so the fact that some can let gambling change them so much is something I'm not exactly relate to.

This is also the same case with my nurse friend too. He has a good salary and stable income and yet he are always playing gambling with our local apps usually games like color games, bingo and slots. He often told me that its so easy money and he can earn his salary for a konth in a week but there are times that he told me deym if he didnt play more he didnt lose 6months of worth salary money of his winning. Like he regret to play more since he loss it eventually.

But right now I think he still playing, I advised him before to stop already cause you got hooked. Well obviously he will not listen.
