A local neighboring street hosting event to celebrate Arsenal Premier League Cup

So my friend who lives in the nearby town is inviting me for their street carnival titled "Arsenal Premier League Celebration "
From a reliable source as I do my findings via the coordination of the event, it is confirmed that the residents living in that area had collectively raised over #10,000,000 in our local currency which is equivalent to $6,300 and more people are yet to comply.
I am not an Arsenal fan but I find such event fun so I have also pledged to support them with the sum of #50,000 which is around $36 and I am hoping to attend.
I also learnt that most rich residents of the Arsenal fans will be participating.
I am obliged of how the game of football can really unite people together.

The second image with David ibiyeomie on it made me realized that the carnival is to held in Nigeria, although I can't tell  which state exactly.  Indeed, Arsenal winning the premier League title deserve to be celebrated by their fans.

In Nigeria what others see as something ordinary is often taken seriously and I like that about Nigerians.  Other countries may see Arsenal winning the league as a normal thing but to their fans in Nigeria it is not.  I am among the people who strongly believed in Arsenal despite not being an Arsenal fan myself, Kindly share the location of this event via PM if it is within my location I would like to attend.

I'm not a soccer fan but IMO contributing to a celebration that looks to promote friends having a good time together and the opportunity to make new friends is never a bad thing. Really doesn't matter what team you might like or dislike, you will still likely have a good time and meet new people. Enjoy!!!

It is interesting how football can indeed bring people together and make them out their economical power together in order to have a very good time, it is something we do not even see in other branches of life, like politics and religion. This is more authentic than any of those things.

If you decide to attend and have a good time, try not to get too drunk and not to get hurt. When there is so many people involved and there is alcohol being distributed to those who attend, there is always a chance for someone to suffer an accident.

I saw an event like this one when I visited someone yesterday, when I saw your own image I had to zoom and look whether it was the same image I saw yesterday but it wasn't. I didn't read the full content of the poster I see yesterday I only saw it was a celebration hosted by the ruler of that street. I should have snapped that image and post it here.

This premier league that arsenal win really make Arsenal fans to be happy. Because winning after twenty two years is something that it worthy of celebrating. Arsenal victory even make people that are not arsenal fan to start to be identifying as Arsenal fan. Arsenal shocked the whole world, even me.

This indeed is one of the joy and fun that comes with football, regardless of many negative things happening in the country, especially our country at the moment, Arsenal winning the Premier league title this season has thrown alot of people into celebration in different parts of country and I believe the world at large too..

The other day, a manager in one of the leading banks here in Nigeria (zenith bank) appeared to work in the morning all dressed in Arsenal jersey instead of his million naira suit, and it didn't end there, he came with packages of pizza and several Arsenal branded  soft drinks for each and every worker in the bank even down to the gate man, security men and cleaners, for the whole day, they were simply celebrating there in the bank while some managed to attend to customers because it was work day, I really envied those guys and wished my self could afford it, I would have thrown a party in my house to celebrate my favourite club winning the Premier league after 22 years 😁

There's nothing wrong with any of these and for me I even think it's necessary because arsenal hasn't won the premier league title for More than a decade and this victory means a lot to the supporters of the club. Hopefully this is going to be the beginning to many more victories for arsenal in the upcoming seasons.

This is how far soccer game can unite people from different angles to come together and have good time together. On a few occasions, I have seen football clubs' fans celebrating their victory on various levels, but this current organisation for Arsenal victory celebrations is out of this world and quite commendable I must say, Asernal fans indeed need such celebrations after several failed seasons to lift the trophy.

That pastor is a billionaire pastor and only his support alone can raise such an amount 10 million is nothing to Bishop David, he recently gifted a car worth billions of naira to his mentor as birthday gift.

This is the biggest achievement that Arsenal has achieved in the last 22yrs and I believe that it's called for celebration by the die hard fans. I could remember when I was really a die hard fan of Manchester United way back. When Manchester United won the Championship League in 2009. There was a big party hosted by one of their fans.

It is not an easy thing, 22 years of been trophyless . It is really something that is worth celebrating. Arsenal deserve this victory at least after all the mockery they have not disappointed there fans as most people may likely think. One of the beauties of this forum is that it offers the possibility of connecting with people from other very different parts of the world, and seeing how they live. Even a celebration like this one that could equally be held elsewhere looks so different!!

Anyone is free and open to Celebration as long as they intended to do so, this is just a partial victory to Arsenal since the one the premier League and they still have the bigger task ahead of them which is the champions League, so I would have advised that the biggest celebration should have been the major target for them to achieve before doing all this, because they have not yet finished their job, though it is not bad in this way as well, as celebration can never be too much to do.

I'm not a true Arsenal fan, but I respect any team that plays. I've never been biased towards any particular football team. But honestly, the camaraderie of watching football with friends and the people there is what I look forward to. I easily make friends and connections there.
