Bitcoin's "novelty" as both a medium of exchange (currency) and a store of value, attracts people into it. It's an entirely different concept from Fiat. Addiction into BTC will increase over the long term. Especially if it becomes more valuable. Innovations such as Taproot, and Quantum-resistant signatures, will add more fuel to the fire.
