Liverpool is really reshuffle their squad that some of important players were leave because the management didn't extended their contract and now they have new coach Andoni Iraola that he carrying hard task because the fans are demand high expectation to him but some fans are believe Iraola is the right coach for Liverpool but unfortunately he is not full authority to decided players transfer

I think this is a risky decision, but with a new coach coming, it can also make sense why Liverpool have a plan to release half of their squad players. Andoni will have the chance to bring in players that fit his own style and maybe this is a better option than keeping some of the old players. Of course, both the new players and the existing squad will need time to adapt. Still, it is easier for a coach when he has players that he actually wants and needs in the team. This will be a big decision for Liverpool, and Andoni now has a lot work to prove. If the rebuild does not work, fan have the chance to blame him than blaming management.

- Maresca is Pep Guardioal's replacement, but I doubt it's the same as Pep.
- This is a sign for Xabi, will he build Chelsea in a bad time? Time will tell.
- I don't trust Arne Slot
- Carrick is the future for Man United, I put my hope in him.
- Doubt Arsenal will retain their title.
- Maybe Spurs with Zerbi can improve from the downturn.

For now I think Manchester City is one of the team attention needs to be channelled at since pep Guardiola have made path ways with them. Yes Maresca is a good coach but his tactical approach to games is quite different from Pep Guardiola and will need time for Manchester City players to key into his own system of play.
Since Michael Carrick took over at Manchester United the team have experienced an unimaginable transformation that catapulted them to one of the best team in England last season and am sure he will continue in that spirit next season and may even bag a trophy if time is not taken .
As for spur I will say there hope of transformation is in the hand of God because I can't tell what will become of them next season

Enzo Maresca is about to start his job at Manchester City. A new era is starting for them after a 10-year adventure with Guardiola...

One of his transfer targets is said to be Cole Palmer! But even Guardiola must have regretted losing him to Chelsea and couldn't bring him back.

He didn't have an open place for his team then though. Do you think Palmer would leave or believe in the Xabi Alonso project?

Rumor Dean Huijsen to Chelsea is quite interesting to follow, although it still too early to be taken seriously. he still 21 yo, but  already showing their quality as a quality defender. He is good when holding ball. Rumor said, the transfer value for Huijsen is around £60 million, and of course Chelsea is very capable to pay with that price, moreover with his young age he has long term potential to be better with coach who give him trust to play. However Real Madrid maybe will not release player who can become defense pillar for them in future. as i say this rumor is worth to follow, but not more than that yet.

  • Guardiola leaving Man City, can they get replacement coach that equal with Guardiola?
  • Xabi Alonso become newcomer in EPL, can Alonso change Chelsea from slumped this season to become champion of season 2026/2027?
  • Will Arne Slot get fired or actually bring Liverpool back to win EPL 2026/2027?
  • Will Carrick bring MU back to champion 2026/2027 after success saving MU in season 2025/2026?
  • Can Arsenal defend their champion title in 2026/2027?
  • Will Tottenham succeed to fix their performance in 2026/2027 and take back Europe competition slot?
I expect Manchester City to struggle for a few years since Pep is no longer at the club. Some say Maresca is the perfect replacement because he plays similar to Pep, however, judging from his Chelsea run, I think the performance of City is going to drop next season.
Arne Slot has been fired already so yeah that’s been sorted. Their new manager, Iraola might just be able to revive the club. Lastly, I don’t see Tottenham making top 5 this season, if they are lucky then they are probably going to finish mid-table.

P.S. Meta is not going to like that there is another EPL thread. Expect a new thread about it in a couple of weeks.

Well we can say that appointing Andoni Iraola comes with so much risk involved, but judging from his performance at different clubs that he has managed means that he is a very good manager, I’m only worried he doesn’t have experience of managing in the Champions League that is really bothering me, I understand Liverpool wants to build a team with him and he is very good at building teams, I’m completely sure he is going to be successful in building teams, and I’m just thinking if Liverpool can win the Premier League or Champions League with him as a manager, every risk is worth taking in football let’s watch and see what happens in the Transfer window the Caliber of players that he brings into the Club, and how he manage them and the once that are there already, Liverpool are building a team for the future.

Andoni Iraola may not have a champions league experience but he does deserve a chance to manage a champions league team. Experience doesn't come until one has been involved in it. His days in Bournemouth is something that's very encouraging and if he could lead the team to their first European competition and their best league finish ever. Andoni Iraola has several good records that speak for him, he managed Rayo Vallecano and brought them to the first league. Even in his first team as a manager, he won the Cypriot super cup with AEK Laneca. If he could handle these lower teams and achieve a remarkable milestone with them when he has less resources, I don't think he is going to face too much challenge leading Liverpool through their champions league games and league games. All he needs is to learn from his predecessors' and consultant his coaching crew when need be.

Of course, Man City will not have any problems, but in terms of competing for the EPL title, I also have my doubts. I have actually mentioned this before in another thread, but it’s fine to explain my doubts again.

Enzo Maresca came in as a coach at a time when City was undergoing a slight transition phase, with several key players having already left the club. Naturally, Enzo would need to adapt by using the right tactics to improve collectivity. And all of that takes at least one season or more to be able to bring the club into strong contention for the EPL title.

Liverpool begin new era with new coach but seems they have slow movement this summer to buy players that because i didn't see any interesting names joined them.
But i think Liverpool first task is, they should look for the replacement of Mo Salah even besides that from the striker too Liverpool still required new players.
About the rumours currently the players like Yan Diomande or Bradley Barcola was into their radar even Liverpool is very serious to gets Yan Diomande from Leipzig but the transfer probably will be expensive because this player is worth to 100 million.
Iraola is the second coach from Spain because before him there is a good coach named Rafael Benitez so, it's interesting to know whether Iraola will be success in Liverpool or not.

Speaking about the players Curtis Jones also rumoured will leave, some Italian clubs have showed their interest to him but regarding target players i have seen Liverpool interested to some players even Darwin Nunez also linked to them however i was really blind about Liverpool strength under Iraola although he have done well at Bounermouth but Liverpool is different because this is big club with plenty of fans in the world

Liverpool really needs to reshuffle their squad after what they played under Arne Slot last season. Most of their players have leave the club after the end of last season, the club don’t think they still have the ability to help the club out of their current situation. Liverpool also need to make more signings for next season, they need more attacking players to strengthen their squad, I don’t if the rumor about Nunez returning back to the club is true, but let’s see what happens.

I was impressed by Iraola performance at Bournemouth last season, but this is Liverpool, and they may not have good players that can use to improve the squad. Of course, the fans expectations are very high because this is a big club and they always want to win a trophy. Liverpool struggled to finish at the top of the table last season, fans will expect the new manager to fight for the title next season.

Slot got sacked mate. Iraola joined Liverpool on two-weeks' loan from Bournemouth two weeks ago.

But, Arsenal won the Premier League HISTORY with the most corner goals. From corners alone. Their leading attacker was unable to put a goal past any good side this season.

And City... people are still talking about the next Guardiola but missing the main point? Silva moved to Real Madrid. So you're losing the best manager in the world and perhaps the most creative midfielder. And your big transfer target is stuck because of World Cup timing...

Iraola's Bournemouth beat everyone during an 18 match unbeaten run. With Bournemouth's budget. This sort of thing doesn't just fall out of the sky.

Liverpool's the one team whose actual results matched what the underlying performance said they should get. All others were fortunate or unfortunate. Anything that Liverpool can improve on next year is genuine. If that makes sense. Not just luck correcting itself.

MU join the race for Manu Kone, they are currently reported open official talks with Roma about the possibility of this transfer. No information about how much offer from MU for him, but i don't think Roma will let him go to the new club for less than $70m transfer fee. Arsenal and Liverpool also reported want to bring Kone too, we will see, who will get Kone.

I really don't know much about Manu Kone until the world and I think had some good games at the world cup. I think I like what I see about him, because he is a traditional number 6. I think he will be a good addition for any of these teams that you have mentioned,  but I also think that Manchester United needs him more, especially with Casimero gone now and Ugarte will be out for sometime,  so he should be a priority signing for them, but I really don't think he is worth $70 million,  but with the way the transfer market is going its very possible that Roma will demand up to that amount or more. I will just sit back and see how this one turns out, but I still think he is a decent player.

Aston Villa just agreed to loan Garnacho with a buy option, seems Chelsea got a place to offload their inconsistent winger. On the overall, Villa is still in good profits if the transfer of Rogers to Chelsea pulls through, the deal is worth club-record £117million transfer fee, surpassing the  £106million they paid for Enzo Fernandez. It's a better option for Garnacho because he isn't getting any play time under Alonso

As we know, the price can be not a problem for a club with a lot of money. MU maybe have a talks with Roma, but Al-Ahli can be the first one that can pay $70m for Kone. because Al-Ahli also linked with Kone in the last few days, so if Roma and Kone just want money, the transfer to Arabian club can happens at any time. But, if he joined Al-Ahli, i dont think he can growing better than playing in EPL.

I doubt Maresca will be able to bring Cole Palmer back to Manchester City. There’s simply no room for him on the team. Plus, Rayan Cherki has been performing well for Manchester City.

There have been rumors linking Cole Palmer to a move to Manchester United, but it seems he won’t be leaving Chelsea. Besides, Cole Palmer’s transfer fee would certainly be high, and not many clubs could afford him.

Looking at Liverpool’s list of departing players, Ibrahima Konate—our center back who has moved to Real Madrid on a free transfer—shouldn’t have left that way. At the very least, he should have left for a transfer fee in line with market value.
Liverpool’s center-back positions are now filled only by van Dijk and Gomez. Van Dijk is already 34 years old. Gomez has been inconsistent and has failed to compete for a starting spot in the past. Before the league season officially kicks off, Liverpool must sign a center-back in this transfer window to fill the void and provide a backup option.

I'm sensing danger in that decision, who knows it might be best for him or it might turns out the best of mistake he's made, we never can tell, who knows he's not used to managing big names in football, so getting some average players might take him far in the English premier League title race, so let's just keep calm and observe how it goes, but deep down within me I don't think that's a very good idea, instead to offload them why not add to them, it will do him more good than letting them leave, anyways the season is almost started so let's just wait and see how it goes with him.
