These last 10 days have been very busy for Premier League teams when it comes to new signings and contract renewals.

The question is whether he's interested in Tottenham. He wants to play regularly; I wonder if he'll have that wish fulfilled at Tottenham.

3 - Chelsea and Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck are close to signing a contract.

Perhaps in the next season, which starts next month, we'll see Chelsea fighting for the title, Manchester United fighting for the title, an improved Liverpool also fighting for the title, so Arsenal could have many rivals in the title race. Regarding Manchester City, I have many doubts; I prefer to see their first five games with the new manager.

Can you recheck the news on Ibrahim Sangere. Is he not the player from lens? If I'm spot on, then he had an agreement with Brentford and not Nottingham Forest.

The talks of leaving Manchester City for Tottenham Hotspur we've seen since last season. I don't and have never seen him as a player for a big club. Girona wasn't a big club and he performed brilliantly. I expect same when he swings Tottenham Hotspur next season.

Confirmed and verified news for Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck. Chelsea won be winning the Premier League Competition, but a chance to finish top four again.

I somehow agree with you on the fact that Chelsea will not be winning the premier league next season, but they will at least manage to get to top four. So many persons believe with the arrival of Alonso, and the kind of players he has signed so far since he came to the club, he is the favourite to win the premier league, but I can optimistically say that they will struggle to get to the top four. We all know how tough premier league is, and for a coach to just come from another league and win the premier league from managers like Arteta, Maresca and Carrick who have a better understanding of the premier league than Alonso himself will be very difficult.  Sometimes I wonder if most of the Chelsea fans think before just concluding. I know Alonso is a good coach, and he will surely do well at Chelsea, but I don't expect things to just start working out well for him immediately, this is the premier league, and new players to blend always take lots of time, the calibre of players he bought, he didn't buy them to build a team, he bought them  for immediate success, and when he cannot deliver that success immediately, I think the fans will be all out on him then, which might lead to his sack, not praying for that to happen because Alonso is a good coach I know that, so let's be hopeful he delivers.

Hey there, it seems you didn’t quite understand the news posted by @Slow death. The news is about Ibrahim Sangaré’s new contract extension with Nottingham Forest. It’s not that Nottingham Forest signed Ibrahim Sangaré as a new player. Ibrahim Sangaré has been with Nottingham Forest since 2023. He was signed from PSV Eindhoven, not from Lens.

It seems that Manchester City and Savinho may part ways. Savinho has informed Manchester City that he wants to leave the club, and Tottenham is interested in him. The question is whether he's interested in Tottenham. He wants to play regularly; I wonder if he'll have that wish fulfilled at Tottenham.
Savinho really does need to leave Manchester City because he’s starting to lose his spot in the starting lineup and rarely gets playing time. Joining Tottenham would be a good option for Savinho, since I see that Tottenham is lacking good wingers. Brennan Johnson is the only good winger Tottenham currently has. So, if Savinho joins Tottenham, I’m confident he’ll definitely become a starter there and can play on the left wing. It remains to be seen whether Manchester City is willing to let Savinho go or not. And again, it depends on Tottenham’s offer. If the offer is favorable, Manchester City might let Savinho go.
Savinho is going to leave Manchester City, I think the new manager have informed him and his agents to look for another club, Tottenham have always maintained their interest in Savinho during last summer Transfer Window, but Guardiola was against him leaving, Tottenham would be a good movement for him, considering he will be getting more game time at Tottenham, he would have to build his confidence with the Tottenham Team and Roberto De Zerbi, Tottenham seems to be making good Transfers, which means the project is going to be appealing to Savinho, Brenan Johnson is now with Crystal Palace since the Winter Transfer Window, he is no longer a player for Tottenham.

I never for one day believe that savinho will be a failure at Manchester City because the hype was just too massive when he was signed, and they made me believe that he was a level above Ryan mahrez, but since he came into the club, he has failed to stamps his authority or live up to the expectation by first winning his place in the starting eleven before showing that he is worth the hype.
I also believe that he will be sold off if their is a strong interest coming for his signature, but I don't think that his speculated move to Tottenham will not materialize, since they have already spent a lot of money in the transfer market.

Oh, I just found that out.

In that case, it would be a great opportunity for Savinho to join Tottenham, since he’d definitely be a starter there. Especially since Tottenham and Roberto De Zerbi have already expressed their interest in Savinho. So now it’s just a matter of waiting to see if Manchester City’s management will give Savinho the green light to leave the club. Let’s wait and see how things develop. I really hope Savinho joins Tottenham so he can get back to his best form.

Manchester City's long winning days are over, for some couple of years they have been dominating the league and made other teams became afraid of them but now, know matter how far they try with this squad present at the team now, they can never be crowned the champions of England next season.
Maresca's approach towards player signing and squad controlling is nice but the premier league i know now has gone beyond his club strength, if he is really interested in sending a massage this coming season he needs more hands in his team and that can only work if more quality players are introduced to the team.

My club Chelsea won’t sign a good striker now that the transfer window is still open, now that the Man city team is not so stable would have been a perfect time for Chelsea to boost their team and dominate the premier league by getting quality players, Chelsea have never been a team for building players rather in the past we always buy players at their career peak and use them to win trophies before selling them, i just wish this new Chelsea owner and the coach too will get high quality players that will bring Chelsea to its glory days.

I don't know the plans of Xabi Alonso, the new head coach of Chelsea but from his signing so far, I can assure you that Chrlsea this season is coming for massive attack as the coach have signed strong attackers and only  defenders perform both as defenders and attackers. His key signing being Morgan Rogers  from Aston Villa is a great choice who Alonso believe that his combination with Cole Palmer will be a pain in the ass of every defense they face. I have confidence that Chelsea is not going to miss the champions league spot this season.

EPL 2025/2026 won by Arsenal. We will soon face competition season 2026/2027. We will see various early speculation. Team strength map will change a lot, among others:

  • Guardiola leaving Man City, can they get replacement coach that equal with Guardiola?
  • Xabi Alonso become newcomer in EPL, can Alonso change Chelsea from slumped this season to become champion of season 2026/2027?
  • Will Arne Slot get fired or actually bring Liverpool back to win EPL 2026/2027?
  • Will Carrick bring MU back to champion 2026/2027 after success saving MU in season 2025/2026?
  • Can Arsenal defend their champion title in 2026/2027?
  • Will Tottenham succeed to fix their performance in 2026/2027 and take back Europe competition slot?

As we all anticipate for the new season to kickoff soonest in August, I think Arsenal has an edge to defending their premier League title because if not for the presence of Gaudiola they won't have won the league 4 consecutive times as they came second three times and now that Gaudiola has left Manchester City and other team coaches like Chelsea Alonso is new to the premier League Arsenal should have the ability to dominate because there is a team connection with the players coaching staffs. Arne slot hasn't done really well in the last season and it's believed if he under performs for the new season he will be sack so he will seat up and coach Liverpool to qualify for the champions League.

Manchester City has already gotten a replacement which is Maresca his former assistant coach, Garrick has done marvelously well upon his arrival and there will be positive results for them in the coming season. Tottenham narrowly escaped relegation and I think they will do perfectly well next season, weekends are boring without games so we can't wait for the league to start.

After many years of sanction, the €100 million striker is back to the EPL.
First of all, I’d like to congratulate Mykhailo Mudryk now that his doping suspension has been lifted.

However, my question, and perhaps that of many others, is whether Xabi Alonso still wants Mudryk on his roster. Or does Chelsea plan to sell or loan Mudryk to another club? Considering his performance while at Chelsea has been terrible, and on top of that, he hasn’t played for the past two years, Mudryk is one of Chelsea’s worst signings.

3 - Chelsea and Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck are close to signing a contract.
Hah that's look so funny.....
Why they are dragging the old dudes.....

On X I saw a lot of memes regarding through the new signing of Chelsea like everyone were laughing and bullied on them. But here I will tell you something about it like Xabi Alonso is smart guy and he really knew what he is doing. He demanded for the old players because he need such kind of players who have a good experience of leadership as well as call up the team for unity. Welbeck is experience players and he will definitely try to be mentor of young players.....

Quote
Perhaps in the next season, which starts next month, we'll see Chelsea fighting for the title, Manchester United fighting for the title, an improved Liverpool also fighting for the title, so Arsenal could have many rivals in the title race. Regarding Manchester City, I have many doubts; I prefer to see their first five games with the new manager.
Next season is going to very excited like all team are trying prepared for the title and definitely it will challenging core. Manchester united is already in good shape as well Arsenal will try to defend the title and the rest of terms wether Chelsea, Manchester City or Liverpool will be try to maintain the efficiency. Let's see what happens next.

While Chelsea is facing these problems isn't it very interesting to see Manchester City still continuing like nothing happened?  Grin  They have also breached 100+ rules but still got no punishment.

So Chelsea had better build their squad well this summer while the registration ban is suspended until next June. Otherwise they can be in a bigger trouble in the future.

What Alonso is doing right now almost feels like he's taking a gamble after seeing Chelsea struggle over the past two seasons by relying mainly on young players. Since rebuilding the squad, Chelsea haven't achieved the level of success they were aiming for, and Alonso knows the team needs a few experienced players to bring more stability to its performances.

But here's the question if Alonso's experiment fails, will he still be kept on as manager? My guess is he'll be sacked.  Cheesy

The sacking of a manager is a normal things an can happens at any clubs if the coach failed in his first season, not just Chelsea. As far as I know, in EPL no other club has retained a manager for long period like Manchester United under Ferguson or Arsenal under Wenger. However, Arsenal under Arteta seems to be doing the same thing as when they are coached by Wenger. Despite a lack of trophies after few season, arsenal stay with him until Arteta success with his team and bring Arsenal winning the title last season. If Chelsea had been patient with Xabi, i believe they would have won the title too. Of course it can be impossible to replicate his time at Leverkusen, EPL is a league with high competition level, become  a club with instant trophy in the first season will become hard achievement.

Today was a day full of transfer market news involving Premier League teams.

- Matthias Jaissle and Newcastle have reached an agreement for him to become Newcastle's next manager until June 2030. In this agreement, Newcastle will pay €11 million to Al Ahli. To be honest, it's a dangerous move by the Newcastle management. The league starts in 3 weeks, and the new manager will have little time to decide on new signings.

- Newcastle and Braga (a Portuguese league team) have reached an agreement to sign 24-year-old goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek, with Newcastle paying £25 million. Having talented young players is a very good thing. I hope Newcastle can put together a squad that fights for better positions; last season they were a disaster in the Premier League.

- Brighton is going to lose one of its players, I'm talking about 21-year-old Facundo Buonanotte who only played 3 Premier League games for Brighton last season and didn't score or assist any goals. It makes perfect sense for him to leave Brighton.

- Bournemouth are close to signing Sevilla 22-year-old Juanlu. He's a very young player, but to be honest, I don't understand this move by Bournemouth's management. Last season, Juanlu played 32 games in La Liga and didn't score any goals, only 3 assists, and he plays as a defender. In my opinion, it's much better to rely on more experienced players in that position.

A suspended sanction can't be categorized as a sanction because it will take effect only if Chelsea repeats the same mistake to break the financial rule or something else. So they basically only get a fine by FA.
Apart from that i also see City may get a similar result. City may only get higher fine, combined with longer suspended transfer ban than what Chelsea took.

So it seems no points deduction will awarded to City due to its 115 130 breaches.  Grin

Should that be a question mark about him?! No! He will most definitely adapt, but they will have to give him time. I don't see a top four finish by the end of the season but maybe a top 6 finish should be perfect for Newcastle United. It seems like he is a great coach who had a great time in the Saudis and can still do same with Newcastle United. We're all here to see the impact he brings.

Cool Cool. Gratitude for the correction. I looked into it immediately seeing this.
