Betting against your favorite team

Anyone here might have done that strategy? You are in a losing streak, but then decided to go and bet against your favorite team and it had a angle of a win win.

Win-win in a way that if you win your bet then obviously you profit and stop the bleeding. But on the other hand, you lose, but your favorite team win so somewhat it eliminates the pain of losing again to some extend.

Or did strategy didn't cross your mind as you always go with your team?

Though I might have a favorite club which I support, but when it comes to gambling, I usually don't allow my love for a team blind my ability to render good judgement to the teams I will be selecting for my bet. Because if I'm to choose between having my club to win a game or me losing my money, I will choose my team losing their game, while I win my bet. Because despite the fact that I support a club, I know some clubs that are stronger than mine. And if these two happen to play against each other, I will rather choose in favour of the stronger team. While if my club is playing against weaker team, then I will choose in favour of my chub. And this decision might differs with respect to different individuals.

Honestly, I don't want to lose my money so easily and the team I like is not the strongest team. So I bet based on statistics to reduce the chances of losing my money. In that case, if my favorite team is playing against a team that is less strong than my favorite team, I bet on my favorite team, but if my favorite team is playing against a team that is stronger than my favorite team, I don't hesitate to bet against my favorite team based on statistics.

Using statistics might be good and helpful but keeping it in mind that gambling can change anytime, which means that they can cause emotional impulses if one is not being careful in ensuring to bet with wisdom, because even if one bet against their team or not, it will still affect their emotions negatively if they don't bet with the money they can easily lose. And that is why gamblers are to ensure they are on the right path of gambling, for them to sustain the fun.

I do not mix logic with emotions. I do not mean it strictly but you get the idea. If my favorite is not up to par then why do I need to bet on them? It’s like when the World Cup games start and you bet on your country when they are playing a power opponent like Argentina assuming you know your country is not up to the capability to beat them but you still bet on them instead of betting on Argentina. That is not a good strategy. Support your team in the stands all you want but when money is involved common sense has to take over. Patriotism or fandom and profitable betting are two very different things.

Of course, you can bet against your favorite team when you are truly doing it for the money.
So far, I have never done this and I tend not to force myself to bet against a favorite team when their performance is bad. In my opinion, gambling should not be forced and I believe this is something every gambler ought to consider if they do not wish to lose money in vain. If your favorite team isn't in their best form, the best option is not to bet on that match.

True and honestly most people are gambling for the sake of their profits and they can do anything, as far as they are getting their profits and people who bet or gamble for money often fall in temptation that will make them to chase after their loss and it will also affect their relationships if their bankroll is not properly managed. So discipline is important in gambling, so as sometimes you stop yourself from taking some risks that is not worth it.

If I notice such a game, I will gladly bet against my favorite team, which does still not break the fact that I'm their fan, and I don't even wait till such an event occurs even if I'm still winning, and I happen to see my fan's team playing against a club I consider to be stronger than them, I gladly place my bet and expect to cashout after the game ends without regrets.

Na matter how some people lose in gambling if they see that their favorite has match they most bet against the them to heal their pain. Because since is their favorite teams thy have always put on them that they will never disappoint, that’s the strategy that some gamblers stick too just to make their pain of what they love lose so far.

But some only bet against their favorite team and still if they win they will only be happy just Hwf off their teams win not because the bet, since is not that the winning can cover what they’ve been lose in the gambling and every time  most of the gamblers ever since they started the gambling some haven’t win a single bet; they just believe that everyday is a second chance to try that’s they continue gambling.
