If you pay too much attention for scouting bonuses you may end up losing good assets - remember the player must hit 4+ points to be eligible for scouting bonuses.

Ownership scores changes after every 4 hrs making it nearly impossible to keep tracking and it's exhausting.

My bigger complaint is that it's fully visible - meaning that you sell a player just because people bought him.

I'd make it hidden and distribute points based on ownership percentages, so that a player with 1% ownership brings let's say 3x more points than a player with 8%.
I'd give out bonuses up to 10 or 15%, because that's still fairly low - especially in the later stages.

Regarding Sanchez just keep in mind for the next games that the lock deadline is exactly at the start of the first match of that round. This means you have time to check the official lineups right before the game starts to make sure your players are starting, it's an advantage that we don't have in FPL.

There are a bunch of different rules, in FPL once the gameweek starts your team is completely locked and you can't touch it but in the FIFA fantasy you can tweak your team throughout the entire matchday by making live substitutions if a field player blanks, you can also change your captain every single day. Honestly I love this format, I think it would be much more fun if FPL adopted something similar, you really feel like a real manager making active in game decisions and changes.

As for how to rearrange the order of your substitutes, you don't even need to worry about that In this format, you can manually field the exact player you want from your bench during the matchday. The order is only automatic at the very end of the round, only if one of your starting players didn't play a single minute.

If you want a really detailed breakdown of all these rules go look on Youtube for FPL Mate, he put out a recent video explaining all the rules and the differences from the FPL platform.

My slate is still completely clean, I was having a chat talking about possibly switching to Rangel, I knew he was going to go over that 5% because as at time lineups were available he was still around 4.9%, and my sole reason for wanting to make the switch was because he’s the cheapest starting GK, and the extra funds could make a difference for the second round. I would have been happy If I made the switch even without the scouting bonus, who’s to say If either of my choices would do the same by getting a clean sheet.

I believe if you're looking for that missing 0.1% in your GK choice, you'll find them amongst the 0.2% that migrated towards Rangel...

So, the popular Crepeau who was well sort after isn't going to get a cleansheet to start the tournament, but you'll still fancy him for at least one in the remaining 2 group games.

Typical dumbass move by me, I accidentally subbed a guy who wasn't even playing for my current keeper, so I successfully removed 2 points from myself (thankfully it was only 2 points).

The scouting bonus is okay for me, it forces people to make different picks, but I do agree, it should hide the % owned. Maybe reveal it once 24 hours before a deadline. All games need to constantly reward people for choosing less-trodden paths, finally seeing FIFA try it.

I didn’t have any player from the opening sets of fixtures, and I’m kind of happy about it especially knowing that I could had the likes of Crepeau and Elvedi and their team all of sudden doesn’t look any good even for the apparent scouting bonus, my very first player would be Raphinha who is up against Morocco, I want to see what Seleçao under Carlo Ancelotti have to offer.

Oh man... Why did I go with Calhanoglu in my team? Turkey lost and he got me only 2 points, while McGinn got 11 points but he was a substitute in my team. I'm still in the lead, but it's mainly because I had Jimenez as the captain so he got me 20 points.

I have a question about automatic substitutes. If one of my middle players doesn't play, McGinn should be automatically subbed for that player even though he already played the game, right? If that's correct, then I only have to hope that one of my middle players will stay benched.

After the first few games, nothing has really gone my way. Really hoping that Sané can make a difference here. I made the mistake of picking Manzambi for Switzerland — the guy played only 30 minutes. I was sure he would play instead of Ndoye, but I was wrong. Now I need to sub him out as well, and I’m losing my subs quite fast.

I knew Raphinha was a terrible pick - really not sure why I went there. Initially I had Guimaraes who looks a lot more involved - and had a lucky assist as well.

Since you already have one starting defender who didn't play, Mensah will automatically take that spot. For McGinn to get on the field as well you just need any other player from your starting lineup, not just midfielders, to not play, so your only hope now is that Lamine Yamal doesn't play a single minute. For the next rounds, the best strategy is to manually start your bench players before their game starts,

Being able to manually replace the player prior to the start of match is sure way of guarantee the score stay high. With special attention to the roster schedule, your team really has competitive edge. In my opinion, it will very important to plan how to substitute player in unique way each according to the performance at the pitch in order to get lot of point in the league this season.

i just came across this thread and i was amazed by the idea of the creation of the thread, it will give us the football lover the opportunity to select their favorite players from different country to be their starting eleven (11), but the 100m that was giving to purchase players is too small to me because on like me i was not able to buy all my favorite players but nevertheless i was able to purchase some of my favorite players to be my starting eleven (11). my question now is that we that were not able to join on time until now that some games have been played what will be our outcome for those played matches.

Fuck i forget to put Havertz between my picks, i dont know why i didnt select him to be one of my forward players, i think it was because i put Musiala and i feel like they were gonna be scoring equal ammount of goals between all the forwards players of Germany like him Havertz Sane and others. One revelation until now it was Nmecha, and the worst until now is the defensive side of the top teams allowing goals.
