I have Mbappe as captain but i also have Messi which puts me in a big problem after Mbappe score two goals and make a good ammount of points, what if Messi scores more? Seems an abbundancy problem and i know it but i think im not gonna swtich the captain, im gonna stick with Mbappe and hold it.

I dont have any Mexico player since i wasnt expecting to see them doing a good wc but right now some defenders of them and Quiñones are quite a good pick for the fantasy.

Theoretically, I can still gamble with Kane and Messi and hope that one outscores him - but they'd have to score a hattrick - which I don't really think is realistic.

Too bad for me that I couldn’t cash in on both my USA simply because Canada kept a cleansheet into the round, and I decided against the third one Freeman for Douglas Santos of Brazil, otherwise my round would have been close to being perfect, with how much a Messi and Argentina magic would even things out for everyone, I wish Argentina would concede a goal and Messi be kept silent 😒  probably just too much to ask for me, I know.

Mmmm maybe you are correct, he have 6 points right now but real are 4 since 2 are extra for que qualification. I dont rememebr that ruel about having a threshold for that scouting bonus. As i said in this case doesnt affect me so much since im gonna change him for Martinez with the hope of a clean sheet.

I think they have to give some bonus for penalty saves in case they reach the shotout.

My transfers are still quite far from being certain, because I'm still of the opinion that there could be some potential upset, that would determine which teams I would prioritize to get players from and my budget isn't even the most flexible one to fit a lot of possibilities without a downgrade or two.

The only certain thing is that I'm getting myself some French assets.

There's always an issue with this app; I couldn't log in throughout the day, and I'm not sure if anyone else has had the same situation with the FIFA app. I couldn't tell if I had my Spain assets subbed in, and I wanted to be sure, but the app wouldn't let me login to confirm.

Moving from double USA defense to England double defense didn't help much; England had the easier game on paper, so it was a simple decision, but lol... My only USA asset received a red card; unfortunately, I'll be going into the next round without any USA assets and hoping they're eliminated.

Another good start for Cucurella and Spain but Yamal is useless and waste of space.

Good thing Mikel Oyarzabal scored 2 goals today since he's my captain. Otherwise, I might have already abandoned this fucking WC Fantasy League progress. Oyarzabal gave me 30 points, so at least that was a big help. lol

Still I was also unlucky because I didn't change my goalkeeper, which could have given me an additional 8 points. On top of that, one of my defenders, Marcos Llorente didn't play even though he wasn't injured. That should be another clean sheet, plus the scouting bonus and qualified boost. Fuck.

I currently don't know what to do with my free 4 transfer, whether or not if I should target another Argentina defender, with Medina looking like he picked up an injury before being substituted off, all my players survived elimination, which means I could still afford to make any kind of alterations I like, the only hiccup being the transfer budget.

113 points in the round—superb! When I remembered that I hadn't used the qualification points bonus yet, it was a bit of a shame because all of my players qualified. It will be tricky to get all of them through again in Round 5.

I made so many rookie mistakes in this round, and I’m getting completely hammered for it, firstly I knew I wanted to sacrifice Vini or Yamal to spread the funds across my backline, so I took Vinicius out for Olise initially being the only transfer I made first then, all of sudden few ours to deadline, I couldn’t bring myself to not having Vini so I did Vini back to Yamal, that’s basically basically waisting to transfers just bring Olise, and with two transfers left, I brought Maignan to cover for an extra France backline, and ultimately I though Bellingham out for Saibari, while I had Douglas and Konsa, both of which my cleansheet shield couldn’t even save 😒

I honestly cannot believe that Balogun had his red card overturned, this decision ruins the integrity of the tournament. To do it so openly and obviously just makes this whole World Cup feel dirty.
If they are doing this now, can Quansah get his red card overturned too? What about all the players currently sitting on a yellow card? FIFA has just opened a massive can of worms with this precedent. It is so corrupt, completely unfair to Belgium and the other teams and a slap in the face to the fans.
Also this completely wrecked my fantasy strategy, I had Balogun in my squad and just burnt transfers making changes I never planned on making just to accommodate his suspension. It messed up my earlier strategy because I had picked him to cover a the two games and then I had to switch everything around.
Honestly I didn't care at all how far the USA team went in this World Cup before today, but after this joke of a decision, I desperately hope Belgium smashes them and qualifies. Though knowing how corrupt FIFA is I'm sure they'll do everything in their power to make sure that doesn't happen.

I am having a horible round as well but mine was somewhat intentional. I deliberately sacrificed a bit in this one to have better team going forward. Next one will be big one for me.
