I noticed everyone gives the same advice, including me. I am not exempted. Risk what you can afford to lose, apply proper money management, set aside funds to gamble, patience and so on. But if gambling could actually be controlled by advice alone, why do casinos still make billions?.

The advice is always repeated because it is the best thing to do when gambling.  Aside from that, every day or every second ( just like how every second a new baby is born), there is a new batch of new gamblers that is unaware of the possibilities that revolve around gambling engagement so it is not in vain that we keep on repeating such good advice or suggestions.

Aside from that, there may be new gamblers who are hooked on gambling that is actually looking for help and encouragement, or some suggestions that can at least alleviate their attachment to gambling, and repeating the always effective advice and suggestion to this new gambler is always helpful.

Casinos and online  gambling platforms have the main goal of making money. And they make huge  amounts of money. They run a lot of ads for their promotion. And as a result, a lot of gamblers  become interested in it. .

It is very  easy to get addicted to gambling. Even in the initial stage, it does not have any side effects. But we must be aware of the bad aspects of gambling. It is difficult to stay away from addiction. We all give advice to others. But we do not follow that advice ourselves. We say to set a specific amount for gambling. But how many of us follow these rules ? Anyway , it is true that if you are aware of your money spending and set a specific budget , self-control is also possible and it is also possible to survive gambling  addiction.

When you're focused on making profit when gambling, you will forget all the advice that can enable you limit your losses. This is because you are not reciting it as you are gambling and you have never put it into practice. You are right though, advising people that staying responsible when gambling has its own benefits and it will be good for them, as it won't serve for any bad purposes except one decides to gamble otherwise. Also, supporting them to overcome addiction is also important as they are not alone, and it medium saves lives, there are many ways one can help people to get out of addiction or help them to stay safe and it should not be done in a way that it will make them to feel worse of themselves, as it would lead them to more dangers.

Given someone advice is not totally wrong anyways but the decision of picking up the advice to work on, all depends on you to decide, it is clear that sometimes advice is being dropped within the forum, mostly for the newbies not to fall victim of being addicted to gambling or being scam, so OP i want you to understand the fact that advice can always come from any one in the forum but the best advice given to yourself is always the best, so you can afford to bet with what i can afford to lose, yet you have not hitting your winning target and you can also decide to risk with what you can not afford to lose, yet you are  favourable with staking with what you can't afford to lose, all the decisions is left for you to decide on the part that will be more favourable to you as a gambler.

Of a truth advice hold no real impact or value towards a addicted gamblers . I don't know if it's just because of ego or because of pride, but there are lots of people who tend to antagonise advice and treat it like you are after their progress. Normally, you'd expect people to appreciate advice that is meant to help them, but in reality, there are a lot of people who would act like you are trying to take something so important from them.

This is the reason why I usually tell people to always take caution when you're trying to advise people against gambling because a lot of people might think that you're simply just trying to take them away from gambling so they don't win.

Casinos still make billions because only few people stick to the rules, listen and act on the advice given to them. As long as people keep gambling not for fun but to make money, then there will always be many people losing a lot of money to the casinos.

If advice doesn't really work at all, what then truly works? Complete avoidance? Or strict deposit limit? Or something else entirely, I will love to know. To be honest, has gambling advice ever worked for any of you? I would love be to hear your thoughts.

Gambling advise is meant to limit your losses and to help you have a better management of your finances when gambling. If you stick to the advise, you may be lucky to win more while risking less, or you may still lose but your low risk will give you and edge in the game to continue to try your luck.

You’ve said it, are we gong to force him or her to stop gambling? Of course not. All we can do is talk, advise them, and make them know or understand the consequences of their actions. Whether they decide to listen or not is fully up to them.

The best way to treat someone that is stubborn and not ready to learn from other people's mistakes is to ignore them.

I sympathize and get your frustrations. I believe that, even if some of the tips mentioned in this article do not seem to be working for you right away, they should be heard nevertheless. One thing that you cannot foretell is when it will be precious.

Even if it seems like an experience you have encountered or somebody you know, it does not mean that the advice to refrain from gambling is not helpful for anyone. I can speak from personal experience as I have been helped with this and have been able to make positive changes within myself.

I feel that people can change if they want to change. However, this desire needs to be heartfelt and intense. Other than wasting money, gambling takes also time, mental tranquillity and many future possibilities.

Sometimes it is not possible to stop a person from gambling completely but if he can be controlled to some extent with the right advice and awareness given to him, then it is also a good thing. So I suppose that good advice never goes to waste.
