Allot of friendlies has been going on as preparation for the world cup , as various countries that has qualified for the world cup will be fine turning their final efforts to make sure that they give a very good account of themselves and their countries of origin. Particularly speaking I don't rate a team based on their platformers in a friendly game. Where each  players is guiding himself and the goal friendly games is not the true test of the a team that is up to winning the world cup.

Portugal is playing at home so they might try a little harder. but we have to take into account the hot weather so it's unlikely they'll play at full strength. as for Christian Ronaldo, his main priority is to avoid injury ahead of the World Cup. after all age is already taking its toll and his endurance isn't like at 20 years.

I think the head coach will give a chance to play for as many players as possible and Ronaldo will be substituted at halftime. also we probably won't see many goals in the match.

Am currently watching the Germany USA game, honestly I underestimated the USA team to be this good despite not having fielded their strongest sides.. but either way they are playing with heart and that screamer of a goal by the USA will be my highlight of the game.

I was very surprised by France's performance. After having such a strong squad, why are they in such a bad position!?? Both France's attack and defense were strong. Attacking  players made a lot of attempts to score. Even then, they could not break the defense of Ivory Coast. On the other hand, Ivory coast's players had relatively few attacks. Even then  they managed to break the french defense. France was leading 1-0 at the end of the first half. But, they lost the match 2-1. France will play against Senegal, Norway and Iraq in the world cup. These opponents are not considered weak.

What's happening with France is something that gives one a lot to think about. I don't know what they might be hiding, but I think something is wrong. France didn't play with all they have; I think they have more, and they haven't wanted to show it. It's only in official matches that you see the true France. Let's remember that friendlies are only to see how they are, how they mesh, not to measure the other players. Sometimes they save the starters for what really matters.

The tension was quite loud for a friendly match and even in the 3 minutes before the end of the first half we could see incidents that actually made the match livelier lol.

In the second half things changed even though the match was still very hard as if it was the final match but indeed Portugal still showed that they are superior in every way including for players and determination in the match.
But for the score it looks like 2-0 won't change as time is running out although Portugal's determination is still there but I doubt they can add more goals in this match.

USA's match against Germany I missed the first half but looking at the statistics on the live score it looks like the first half was not very interesting for those betting on Germany.

The United States team is the host team in the competition, so it's expected that they put up some performance, but I do not expect them to be able to get to the finals of the competition no matter the kind of performance they put up because there are other better footballing nations in the competition.

There will be a lot of media talk surely because the player who scored the first goal for Portugal is a player who came on as a substitute for Cristiano Ronaldo, so a big question will come up for Portugal going into the competition, and that would be if Ronaldo should be the most appropriate player to start in attack for them or if they should give that position to younger talents who are more hungry for a show.

I'm also watching the USA vs. Germany game; there are only 4 minutes left in the 90 minutes, and Germany is winning 2-1. But they can't dominate the game to the point of scoring many goals. Honestly, I hope Germany doesn't show this low level of football in the World Cup, because at most they'll get past the group stage, but in the next phase they'll be eliminated.

And about Portugal against Chile, honestly, it was unnecessary for Portugal to get a red card. Rafael Leão should have been more careful. He complained that his season went badly because of the position he was given on the field in Milan. Now he's putting himself in a worse situation with this red card; maybe the coach will choose another player as a starter in the World Cup.

I am curious to see how will perform under ancelotti. Honestly even without Neymar, Brazil has plenty of talented players and these matches should give us better idea of what to expect when the tournament starts. As for betting I will probably wait until few more games have been played before drawing any conclusion.

Concerning the betting, I agree with your recommendations to wait until some games are played but recently that previous France match I actually placed Cote d'Ivoire to win with a very small cash and to my surprise it actually played out, although i started regretting that I didn't bet more but you get my point. Alot of things happen in friendlies and the friendlies helps the coaches know his teams deficiencies

Germany won 2-1 against the USA i honestly expected that Germany would win this match a lot easier and early. I didnt expect them to struggle so much because the USA team for me is really weak. But with how all main national teams are playing its normal because all big nationals teams are struggling a lot now,maybe testing out some tactics or teams. The first half was directionless despite a quick goal in the 2nd minute but the pattern didn't develop well and I think the second half looked much better than the first.

Germany's material in this match was very good but looking at Nagelsmann's scheme in this match I think Germany's problem for now is the lack of a pure striker because although there are some players like Deniz Undav who was brought to the world cup but he is always a super sub and in this match too they played without a pure striker because Kai is not a targetman for his ideal position.
But the win still looks good enough although I don't think it's enough to use this as a benchmark for the World Cup.

The actions of Leao as a top professional was unlike him, apart from the red card, I fear that he will be banned for further games for that punch and fight against that guy today.that said he also stands to lose out on big clubs eyeing him as a result of his actions tonight. It was more like a gutter behaviour from him honestly.
They finally got to win the game, with Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes scoring the second goal of the game to secure them the game.

Friendly matches are mainly played to see the current performance of the team. Both Portugal and Chile are good teams. Looking at the current state of the match, it seems that they are playing like children. Watching today's game, no one will believe that this is a practice match before the World Cup. The red card given in the match seems to be a joke. However, an experienced team like Portugal, which is on the verge of the World Cup, will never want to show their full strength. They can prove themselves directly by going to the field. So, Portugal is not trying too hard for this friendly match. Because after a little effort, Portugal won the match 2-1.

I haven't been watching most of these friendlies, but being a weekend found time to catch some of these games to see what's really going on..and talking of Germany is Neur still their number one keeper because that's one asset they need to make that passing of the group stage possible, otherwise plenty of quality players in the Germany side and they just need to find the right set of players to use once the world cup kicks off..

Hungary managed to win the match thanks to the goals it scored in the first half against Finland. Hungary, which won thanks to two goals scored by Barnabas Varga in the first half, was the better team. Both teams had been eliminated in the World Cup qualifiers, so we won’t be seeing them at the World Cup. As far as I can tell, there aren’t any familiar names on Finland’s roster, but Hungary has plenty of standout players—and to be honest, I was disappointed that Szoboszlai couldn’t participate in the World Cup.

The Hungarian boys performed well in the  first half. Interestingly, in the first half we only saw hungary's dominance. The 2-0  lead was secured by the team in the first half. On the other hand, finland played a defensive strategy in the first half. Even then they were not able to resist the attacks of Hungary. Finland stepped up their  attack in the second half. On the other hand, Hungary played very  cautiously in the second half as they led by  2-0. In the second  half, Hungary's players could not make a single shot on target. Finland's players managed to make  4 on target shots in the second half. And in the end they lost  the match 2-1.

Hungary scored 2 goals against Finland and got their W in the friendlies. Varga scored a brace in the first half 25 and 43rd minute but Finland didn't score any goal in the first half. In the second half Finland put back 1 in the nets at 71st minute by Miettinen.  Hungary kept 55% possession, 19 shots but only 2 on target . On the other hand Finland with 45% possession got 4 out of 10 total shots on target . Hungry will now play their last friendly against Kazakhstan on 9th June. Both of the teams Finland and Hungary didn't qualify for the world cup.

Turkey will play a friendly match against Venezuela. This will be their last friendly match.
Friendly matches before the group stage are good. Turkey played their first friendly match against North Macedonia, and now against Venezuela it will be similar to the Macedonia match. After that, the Group D matches will begin, with the first match being against Australia. The first match is important how we start determines the rest of the group stage.

The world cup friendlies is really creating excitement in the football scene now that the international leagues are concluded attention hab no shifted to world cup and this friendly match are the last resort where team have to access and understand each other before the main event.
