The Turkish league kicked off with some surprising results in the first week. Galatasaray drew 2-2. Fenerbahçe lost 2-1. Trabzonspor drew 1-1. I am eager to see what kind of result Beşiktaş will achieve on Sunday.
I consider such dropped points in the opening week to be normal.

The VAR officials performed very poorly during the Fenerbahçe match.
I don't know what they were thinking in those situations that led them not to alert the referee. If the VAR audio recordings are released this season, we might find out.
These two clear errors caused Fenerbahçe to drop points in the first week.

Salah came on for Trabzonspor but failed to make much of an impact. He will likely improve as time goes on.
Right now, Onuachu is the player in the worst form at Trabzonspor. I saw him in the pre-season friendlies, too; he was extremely poor. Onuachu urgently needs to find his form.

Fenerbahçe started the league with a defeat, but the main talking point after the match is that they were denied two clear penalties.
A situation similar to the one involving Mert Müldür occurred with Yamal during the match against France at the World Cup, and the referee awarded a penalty.
Today, however, Fenerbahçe was not awarded a penalty in a similar situation.
The ball struck Goutas's hand during Talisca's shot, yet VAR did not award a penalty.
In both instances, it was difficult for the referee to spot the incidents.
Fenerbahçe dropped 3 points in the very first week due to two clear errors.

I don't like when a team emphasize much about penalties that they were denied because on paper we all concluded that Fenerbahce will win but it wasn't so in the playing field. Fenerbahce should admit their mistakes because they would have won this match if they had scored another goal after Talisca scored.

The referee and VAR needs to act professional this season and take actions in obvious cases, they shouldn't repeat what they did last season because the Turkish league is becoming popular so they should not make people begin to doubt the fairness in the league. There were a lot of complaints about referees and VAR last season, they need to avoid such cases again this season.
