Turkish Super League 2026/27 Season

Let's start the fire of the new season!

-The last champion is Galatasaray. They won the title 4 years in a row.
-New season there will be 18 teams competing in Super League.
-Fatih Karagümrük, Kayserispor and Antalyaspor are relegated.
-Erzurumspor FK, Amed SK and Çorum FK are promoted. Welcome the league!
-The league will start August 14. (1 week late than normal as there's World Cup in the Summer)

My vote for who will win the 2026/2027 season is Galatasaray again.


The reason isn't far-fetched. They were the best team last season even though it got messy in the end. But I've seen the performances of other title contenders and they're just not good enough to take the title from Galatasaray yet unless they do serious reinforcement soon or a miracle happens. Either way, Galatasaray will remain my selection for now.

Can't wait for leagues to resume. But we have the world cup to keep us entertained.

The season has just ended, but we can already start speculating about the new season. I believe Galatasaray will be champions again. They have a good squad, and after winning the championship, they will strengthen it again. They need significant reinforcements in areas where they are lacking, especially for the Champions League. I'm already curious to see what kind of transfers the other teams will make.

Osimhen will likely be a high-priority target this summer for many clubs. Though we have not seen much interest from clubs, I am expecting that there will be news on it. If Osimhen leaves Galatasaray this summer, that will be a big loss for them. His fighting and resilient spirit made Galatasaray win the Turkish league again.

I saw some transfer news about him the Nigerian coach, I didn't take it serious. Was that real?

My understanding is that his contributions are priceless to the Galatasaray current team and they would want him to continue staying, the club and the fans. If he goes this summer, there's a strong chance the quality of Galatasaray performance will drop significantly in the new season. All top clubs needs an aggressive striker like Oshimen but so far none has approached him yet.

Maybe Oshimen wants to push a move to be with a better team so he can win the UCL? His former colleague, Kvaratskhelia just won the UCL player of the season and Oshimen is only known in Turkish league.

With a new page and a new year, we will write a lot about this here. Hopefully, we can discuss Turkish football here in a season full of successes. Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor will again be championship contenders this year. The championship contenders can be discussed more clearly after the transfers, but right now I think Galatasaray has the advantage. With the newly promoted teams, the league will become even more exciting. Hopefully, we will have great tournaments in the Turkish Super League with teams that can achieve success in Europe.

I already voted for Galatasaray. No matter how hard the other teams try, it will be useless in my opinion. I say this because I highly doubt that the other teams will be able to make good signings; Galatasaray has managed to make good signings, they are like Bayern or PSG in their leagues. Let's look at the last 4 years:

22/23 season Galatasaray champion

23/24 season Galatasaray champion

24/25 season Galatasaray champion

25/26 season Galatasaray champion

That's 4 consecutive championships and they will manage to keep more than 60% of their best players from last season. I highly doubt Osimhen would leave Galatasaray. For a team to take him from Galatasaray, Galatasaray would undoubtedly demand much more money than they paid for him to get him from Napoli. Osimhen is an extremely important player for Galatasaray, he has a contract until 2029, it was difficult to get him from Napoli, so any club interested in him would have to pay a lot of money to take him from Galatasaray and I highly doubt that will happen.

We are holding the record of consecutive championships in the Super League now with 4 titles.    It's really special for me and I bet for most Galatasaray fans as well. We are dominating the league in the recent years.

But will it last longer than this? That's the question to ask now... Because last season we didn't play amazing mostly. We became champions with only 77 PTS thanks to other teams' not being in good shape either. We need to improve this next time.

If a single club is winning this league almost every time, that means it is not really competitive. I was following this league before, but it has been a very long time ago. After the top leagues in England, France, Spain, Italy and Germany, the other one that I followed on this forum was the top league in Portugal. I will try to follow this league this season. I hope I can use some of their matches to to bets. I will also consider Netherlands.

It's still possible for Galatasaray to win the title next season, they have the money to attract the best players which is key, one of the reason why Galatasaray has remained dominant over the years in Turkish football could be attributed to their financial strength, that's what separates them from the rest of the opposing team and until there is a team who can match them financially in terms of spending they might still remain dominant.

It's still possible for Galatasaray to win the title next season, they have the money to attract the best players which is key, one of the reason why Galatasaray has remained dominant over the years in Turkish football could be attributed to their financial strength, that's what separates them from the rest of the opposing team and until there is a team who can match them financially in terms of spending they might still remain dominant.

It'll be easier for Galatasaray to win the FIFA World Cup this year than for any other team in the Turkish Super Lig to win it. They have a team with most quality players and depth than any other team in the league. Also they have the financial strength to make more quality additions this summer transfer window than their rivals. That said, I think Fenerbahçe will likely be their biggest rival next season. Fenerbahçe has done almost everything possible to stop Galatasaray in the last two seasons, even went far as signing a big manager like Jose Mourinho. Inasmuch as Galatasaray is my favorite Turkish Super Lig club, I'll want another team to end their dominance, not because I don't want them to continue dominating but to make the league more interesting to watch

These days are really active for Fenerbahçe according to the news. Of course there is an exciting situation because of a presidency election. It is going to be Aziz Yıldırım or Hakan Safi winning it.

There are already claims that both president candidates have a certain plan on their future managers and first big transfers. For example Hakan Safi is rumoured for bringing Farioli, Greenwood and Lewandowski.

I hope it would be our time this year and we would finally end this streak without a league title.

Maybe they have their appetites alive for winning 5 times in a row, because that never happened before. Maybe that goal could keep the hunger alive, but I think many players have had their fill of championships. I think we'll see either Fenerbahçe or Beşiktaş win the title this season. Let's remember that both teams will be building a new squad with a new manager. So there will be more hunger for the title.

I don't see any oppositions coming out to make quite uncertain actions or pressure because Galatasaray are the main team that's acquainted with achieving major trophies. Galatasaray have the finest players in Turkey, with the likes of Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sané, they're winning titles and competing for elite trophies like the UEFEA Champions League which they got eliminated by Liverpool at Anfield.

Galatasaray will compete for the turkish league title and they will dominate and win it without stress, the club just have to up their game because it takes more than winning rivalries in their domestic league and can't beat their mates in the UEFEA Champions League.

Two teams in contest to win the Turkish Super League next season are either Galatasaray or Fernebeche. These teams are currently in good shape since two season it has always been a fight for power in the Istanbul derby, if that's what it is called. Galatasaray have won it multiple times in a row. This time I want Fenerbahçe SK to win even if it is once. Later Galatasaray can come back to the winning spray.
