Odegaard, in my opinion, would be a more logical choice because he's cheaper and an experienced player. Can Uzun is a very good young player, but Galatasaray needs an experienced player. If Galatasaray is going to let anyone leave from Arsenal, I think their priority should be Odegaard. The number 10 position is a crucial area for Galatasaray. They want to be more successful in Europe next year and for that they absolutely need to make some impactful transfers.

I haven't read or heard any news that Fenerbahçe had many players on injury, i was thinking that it's only their new signing from Mallorca, Vedat Muriqi that is on injury.

There have been a few players as a doubt. Talisca was also included in them but now it looks like Vedat Muriqi is the only injured one which is good.

Gornik Zabrze is not a team that will stress Fenerbahçe in the first leg of the Champions League qualification round so you don't need to worry about them because Fenerbahçe will win the home match.

If you are saying this then you don't know the history of Turkish teams in UEFA tournaments very well mate. There have been many surprise eliminations they have had.

This was mostly because of starting a new season late and not being ready for qualification rounds. Even if we don't get eliminated we might have difficulties.

I agree with you. I don't like how slowly Galatasaray are moving in the transfer market either, but there's not much we can do about it.
To be honest, I don't even know who they've signed so far, or which players they're seriously linked with. I only know one or two names, and that's about it.
In my opinion, Beşiktaş have been the most successful club in the transfer window so far. Fenerbahçe are also working on strengthening their squad, but Galatasaray seem to be the furthest behind at the moment.

It has been reported that Fenerbahçe will pay Marseille €40+2 million in transfer fees for Greenwood, and Manchester United will receive more than €10 million from a future sale. Fenerbahçe needed a player who could dribble well, and Greenwood will more than fulfill that role in the Turkish league he also has good finishing skills. The amount paid seems reasonable. It's always better to sign a player like this than to make 2 or 3 transfers that could go bust later. Fenerbahçe will be stronger this season. Galatasaray definitely needs to rebuild the foundation of its roster. There have been no changes in certain positions for several seasons, and if they realize this shortcoming midway through the season, it may be too late to fix the situation.

Meanwhile, Beşiktaş’s new signing, world-class star Trossard, has arrived in Istanbul. Look at the final numbers, I think they got a fine deal.

It has been reported that Beşiktaş will pay Arsenal 18 million euros in transfer fees and 2 million euros in bonuses for Trossard.

For a player this young I think the fee they have paid is quite okay. His salary will be quite high though - around €10m. But this is the only way to convince a talented player like him to play in the Turkish Super League.

Hmm I don’t really think Ødegaard coming to Galatasaray right now is a possible. He is still part of the integral squad of Mikel Arteta and Arsenal won’t be ready to let him go yet. He’ll be perfect for the no.10 role no doubt.

Galatasaray are still considering signing players because they don’t know if Osimhen will be leaving or not, nothing concrete have been made from that angle. I think losing him would be a huge blow to the Galatasaray team and chance to defend their title.

I think they’re also going for Brahim Diaz, he would be a good addition if he’ll be willing.

I seriously agree with you on this. Galatasaray don't seem to be very active in this transfer window and good talents are gradually leaving the window. Fenerbahce seems more serious and following the arrival of Mason Greenwood and the return of Ismail Kartal, they will be the favourites to win the league ahead of Besiktas and Galatasaray. Another reason why I think that Fenerbahce is going to be a very big challenge for to galatasaray is that the new head coach has signed a one year deal and would want to bring result in the season before the end of his contract on 30 June 2027.

If galatasaray continues to be reluctant to sign reinforcement, it may just be an express win for Fenerbahce at the end of the season.

Mason Greenwood is a great player and deserves whatever wage they offer him. He's still young and gets better each season. He is a good finisher with about 16 goals for Marseille last season. This is the kind of players that Fenerbahce needs to support Talisca in the team. There's every tendency of getting a result from this team under their new boss.
