Real Madrid is not a terrible team, and I am pretty sure that they are going to do fine. However, we also have to realize that this is not going to be easy at all for us, we should realize that this is going to end up with a lot more in the future.

You make some really great points, mate. I totally agree that the biggest problem for Real Madrid right now isn't the defense, it's the chemistry. Last season was so frustrating to watch, especially the El Clasico matches where the team looked completely lost on the pitch.
Having both Mbappe and Vinicius Jr. is amazing on paper, but in reality, they both want to play in the exact same position on the left wing. It creates a massive tactical mess. If Mourinho can't manage these huge superstar egos and get them to bond, the dressing room will explode.

I understand Jude Bellingham is still there, but they need to have more creative players and one player to do the dirty work. Bernardo Silva is looking aged. I feel, like Pep Guardiola has had the best from him, and there is nothing much he will give in Real Madrid. However, I can't judge a player yet until the season starts. My concern is for Jose Mourinho to get one more defensive midfielder. One that is good on the ball and off the ball.

It has been like that forever that not all leagues have guaranteed Champions League participants. It all depends on the five year UEFA rating and I think only the top ten leagues have a guaranteed starter (or more than one of course).

Other leagues like Poland, Norway or Sweden, they all have to go through the qualification phase even when they win their respective league. It feels unfair because it makes it very hard to climb the ladder in the UEFA five year ranking once you dropped out, but that is how the modus works. It is a long way to increase that rating, especially when you think which countries are there. It is practically impossible for a country like Norway to kick out other countries in the top ten. Maybe they could one day pass a league like the Austrian Bundesliga or Super Lig in Turkey or maybe the Belgium league, but other than that most are way too strong for Norway etc. to compete with them in the long run.

But I think I would begin the whole diagnosis at midfield and move outwards from there. If you do not have someone who can just take pressure, and then play the ball with intelligence, then everything downstream collapses. Tchouameni was a bit of an emergency centerback for some of the season. Camavinga continued to suffer injuries or to be sent off. Bellingham... Man, Bellingham was a whole different player than he was 2 years ago. Congested, frustrated, peripheral.
