Barcelona has made some new signings in the club in the hope of strengthening their squad more and have a good shot at the champions league this new season. Before the season begins, every team will be full of hope that their squad is good to go to challenge for the title. Also, due to the nature of the league and how many big teams are in the competition fighting for the top spot, it makes it very hard to see a favorite team for the title just yet. The competition is most likely going to get tougher than expected in the early stages but as time goes on, we will see the clear favorites. Until then, we can’t be able to tell where Barcelona will stand in the competition but they have a good squad to compete for the title this season just like other top teams.

Since the season has not started yet you can only judge the favorite by the previous winners because they where the best and still remains the best especially with the fact that the new season hasn't started.
Meanwhile from the look of things almost all champions league clubs are equipping their teams to put the best for competition for the champions league, and PSG is a team that is very strong but from the look of things if they should decine in performance they will not be able to win it again.

I was shocked to see the result of PSG's friendly match with Mallorca earlier this month. I could not accept such a defeat for a team that has won the UCL trophy twice in a row, but for me, the consolation is that the team will prove themselves in due time. Perhaps the second-string players participated in the match or luck was not on their side.

PSG already has a strong squad and has signed high-profile players in preparation for the upcoming seasons. Notable among those players are Ferran Torres, Maghnes Akliouche. The club's preparation before the start of the tournament is great and they are preparing to continue the trophy winning streak. They are spending a lot of money and adding high-profile players to the club. The prudent manager Luis Enrique is making timely decisions to maintain his magical success.

He is doing great since taking charge of the club in 2023 and is motivating the team to win a lot. Perhaps the team will show great performance this season as well.

Barcelona needs to get Osimhen, if they had secured Osimhen using this transfer window, Barcelona would stand a good chance against Real Madrid next season, a deadly striker with Lamine Yamal and Raphina or Gordon as wingers.

Osimhen is a striker who has also shown that he can perform in the Champions League without pressure, without a true number at the forefront, Barcelona are looking less at the advantage compared to Real Madrid.

You should never underestimate anyone. Lyon is an excellent team that is looking for its best form and this can also be seen from the last few games that they try. And they will face a Fenerbahçe with many new strong players, which will make the match very exciting for all the fans who will see a competitive Fenerbahçe.

Truth every club always play to avoid having a red but unfortunately it do happen even when no body expected it, red card is always an advantage to the club that has a complete player, it takes an extraordinary team work to win a match with 10 men against 11 men when it came first half, this doesn't happen much unless the 10 men club were already leading the game before the red card and this will end on totally going back if it's against team stronger than the reduce club, though some time in the past i have watched Ac millan winning a match with 9 players they had 2 red card in that match but i suspect it was against a relegation club.

The red card is obviously a sanction that drastically changes a match, because it makes you play with one man less. It is always good to properly check whether a red card should be given or not. If it were given and the player had to leave the field, it would certainly leave the team at a strong disadvantage.

Yeah you are right, but still in my opinion Barcelona really need center forward to help wingers turn attack to goals, because no matter how hard the wingers push the attack if there's no center forward, their attack will be effortless. If you look at Lamine Yamal is not a winger that's hungry to score goals, to me like he prefers making assists to scoring.

If Barcelona had player like Osimhen or Julian Alvarez, they will score far more goals than when they rely on the wingers. It would be very tough for them to get Victor Osimhen because of their financial challenges and I don't think Osimhen shown any sign of wanting to play for Barcelona.

PSG is a team that will still dominate the champions league and even their domestic league if care is not taken, because they are not stopping anytime soon. They have won the champions league and the super cup back to back and are still trying to win it, with the  of this preseason signings, i  will say that they are still trying to give their all to win as many trophies as possible this coming season and this is the type of mentality I want from any team, don't be too confident because of some time that you were consistent and they will become overconfident till when other teams are able to solve them but if teams can learn from PSG, and are able to be dynamic every season and unpredictable while maintaining their consistency, it will be a great dominance for any team but no, Manny teams will just go and rest after a season of good performance.

If they end up without signing one before the end of the transfer window then Karim Adeyemi becomes the only option except maybe they'll introduce a young striker from tbe youth team to first team cause i don't see Raphinha or the new signing from Newcastle, Anthony Gordon converted into a striker.

 It could be either they're currently looking for alternatives or weighing their options before doing a deal in the late transfer window, they can't go into the new season without another striker, but if they don't sign one they must get one by January.

Red card is only an advantage to a team that can make good use of it. Playing one man less can distort the original formation of a team but overall if the affected team can manage their deficiency and strive not to concede they too can force an attack regardless and still come out with their full points or a possible draw.

The red card scenario for AC Milan was in 2019 against Genoa. That match recorded a total of 4 red cards where Milan had a narrow win. That match for we was balanced because both teams ended up playing 9 men on the pitch.

Osimhen is a capable striker, and we all admit that, but that doesn't mean the current Barcelona squad doesn't have a chance to face Real Madrid. Even without Osimhen, I'm sure Barcelona will still be able to compete with Real Madrid this season.
Because if Osimhen is that important, then Barcelona will make it a priority, but from what it seems, Barcelona doesn't make it a priority and prefers to fight for Rodri from Manchester City. If Barcelona can get Rodri, I think that's a more reasonable option than Osimhen.
