Since Como was taken over by the current owners, they have indeed been building a long term project. Even Fabregas, who owns shares in the club is willing to coach Como again even though he has received offers from other teams. 100% agree with you, I think last season they excelled exceptionally because of the single competition that they were playing plus the other domestic cups but now with the biggest club competitions they will definitely need to adapt to games, personally I think they will need to actually add quality to their squad and the reason why I agree with them when they got Nico Paz for that amount they did, most people actually wanted them to go for a smaller squad player but let’s be honest they really need all the quality they can get because this will be their start to big things, the club could be better from or just slump down.

Although to be honest I don’t actually see them doing any extraordinary things in this first champions league but it will be too harsh to rule them out. We have seen in the past the likes of Leicester in their debut season getting to the quarter finals before been knocked out. I doubt Michael Olise will easily break into Real Madrid because he has a contract until 2029 at Bayern Munich, still quite long, and Munich themselves still need Olise to get the champions League in the new season, because they were almost able to get a step further last season even though they finally had to be stopped by PSG.
