Although this battle might be tough I would still slightly lean toward City due to home advantage and Maresca's good start.

It is very hard for some (players) strikers to adopt to new team, especially when they are coming from a mediocre team to a bigger one. Gyökeres is not one of the main players in Arsenal as far as the team is concerned, he has not really shown any improvement since he joined the team last season and I also think he should have adapted completely by now to the team and we are already seeing his top notch classic goals as he was scoring when he was still in Sporting Lisbon.

There was rumors that Arsenal wanted to sign a new striker in the last transfer windows but since it didn’t worked out, I thought we will see the best of him this season. The season is still in its early stages, maybe he will adapt with time and will be a better striker as we anticipate for him to become in Arsenal.

If you look at the past two seasons where PSG won the Champions league, they’ve not really been having an impressive start to season, as a matter of fact during their first Champions League triumph they didn’t even qualified automatically from the qualifying stages to the next round, they still have to qualify through the playoff spot but they ended up winning the Champions League. The next season they weren’t looking like the favorites because people doubt they could win it back to back especially after they fell cheaply to  Chelsea during the club World Cup Final. I think the PSG coach is mastering the act of winning this competition with a different strategy, you can see how they’ve started giving days off to some of their best players like Dembele as they normally used to do in the past two seasons. The champions league is different from league matches, Enzo Maresca is a fantastic coach but still lacks champions league experience as compared to PSG coach, man city have the squad to win it in the future and the game with PSG will surely produce lots of goals because both teams have attacking prowess.

Man City haven't really improved if you look objectively. Just are in a good form at the moment and on a winning streak.
