It will not be a surprise to anyone if any team fails to make it to the final, regardless of their current performance because this just the beginning. We have seen that happened many times in the Champions League and other competitions. So, if Arsenal do not make it to the final of this season Champions League, it will not be a surprise at all. However, based on their current performances, they also have a good chance of reaching the final, just like other teams. You may be thinking that they will possibly make it to the final, because they are also in good form.but the fact is that, at this moment, it is not guaranteed that Arsenal will reach the final.Even PSG, who have been beating some of the strongest teams, are not also guaranteed a place in the final. However, the fact remains that they have a good chance of reaching the final if we judge them based on their current performances.
You're right, there are still a lot of games waiting for every team in the League round and any team that qualifies for the knockout phase is also uncertain. Based on the performance of the team, I think Arsenal is one of the ones with the greatest potential to go to the knockout stages, but there is no guarantee they can get to the final because each game has different difficulties. PSG, Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid and many others have a high probability of reaching the last 16, but we never know if one of them will reach the final or if another team will prove themselves.

The focus of all teams at the moment is on collecting high points in the League round, they have to make sure they qualify for the last 16 instead of thinking too far ahead. Qualifying for the final is certainly the dream of all teams, but we must admit that it is difficult to predict it from now on.

PSG came so close to winning the Champions League over the years when the La Liga teams and the English Premier League teams were dominating the Champions League. The league currently dominating is the French league, and PSG have represented them well.

The best team remains PSG this year. With the way things are going, they will eventually win it for the third time. The team I prefer to win this Champions League is Arsenal. PSG won their first in the last two years, Arsenal is yet to win, which is why I want them to get a taste of that UCL trophy.
If Arsenal must win the Champions league they have to be very prepared, champions league is not giving to any team out of preference, you can’t just wish for them to win it, they must come out am show capacity, last season they performed well that was why they were even able to get to the finals, if they must win it this year, they must double their efforts, mind you this season no team is folding their hands, both Barcelona, Bayern, PSG etc are very hungry for the champions league title.
You guys still believe Arsenal have any more chance of reaching the final again? Talk more of winning it, hmm.. joke of the day, to me the least a can tell is they've literally misuse their chance of winning it last season, this season no one is giving them such chance to pass either the quarter finals or the semi's, so they should focus more on the English premier league which will be much easier for them to win than the UEFA champions league, because the space is not there, teams like, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid, and probably Manchester city won't give them such space.
Hahaha, do you know that for the past 3-4 seasons now Arsenal have been a progressive club, before they eventually won the premier league last season they have been finishing second on the table for over 3 seasons, and bringing it back to the champions league which is the trophy they are yet to win and I’m sure they really want to win it so badly. They finished the 2023/2024 season in the quarter finals of the champions league, then the following year 2024/2025 they finished in the semi finals, and the following year 2025/2026 they reached the finals and finished as runners up. What does that tell you, it shows that this club is moving in a progressive way and I won’t be surprised if they end up winning it this year. And if you ask me this season I think that’s the major trophy they should be going after because they are yet to win it.

In fact last season Arsenal had a chance to win the Champions League trophy but they squandered that chance in fact two of their team players missed penalties in that final match, as a result it came to our attention that they failed to win the trophy in that match.
It's understandable that Arsenal failed last season because they finally reached the final after such a long time. The pressure may have affected the players' mentality a bit, causing them to lose focus. But this season, I'm confident Arteta will introduce some tactical changes, and their squad hasn't changed much. So if Arsenal can reach the final again, I think their chances of winning will be even higher.

Don’t be surprised that this season they might not even make it to the finals like they did last season.. football is not an emotional game and doesn’t respond to past result or the circumstances that brings you to a certain spot. That arsenal got to the finals of last season is just because they played well and in addition to that, they also were lucky. In this season, if those two factors are taking out of the equation and they get unlucky in the knockout phase, they might even struggle to get to the grand finale, other teams aren’t sitting back waiting for them to make it to the finals for the second time.

Yes I completely agree with you. The competition of Premier League and UCL is completely different, so if someone looks at the possibility of winning the UCL trophy based on the performance of Premier League, then it might be wrong. There are many teams like Arsenal whose performance is very good and it is believed that these teams will perform very well in UCL this time and their possibility of winning the trophy is very high. UCL is well known and the strongest team Real Madrid has gradually improved and Real Madrid's biggest opponent Barcelona has defeated Barcelona's ground. So looking at the current performance of Real Madrid, it seems that Real Madrid will become a big opponent for everyone in UCL this season.

I don’t consider last season to be a good indicator for Arsenal - just look at who their opponents were in the knockout stages: Leverkusen, Sporting and Atlético. Moreover, the victories over Sporting and Atlético were hard-fought and labored. PSG faced a tougher path - Bayern, Liverpool, and Chelsea. In the knockout stages, anyone can beat anyone, but Arsenal has yet to prove that they belong to the elite group of contenders, or, if they do, that they stand out from the rest of that group.
Well am not an Arsenal fan but a lover of good football, i prefer watching football without sentiments, last season Arsenal really performed well, competing for both the EPL title and Champions league at the same time is not easy, in a long while Arsenal fans hasn’t had the kind of happiness they had last season, so to me they really did well. Meanwhile, in football i always tell fans that there is nothing like big teams or small team when it comes to any tournament.

A team can be performing poorly in their league but will come to the champions league and perform very well because there is this energy and spark that the champions league brings, players give their best because they know that a lot of eyes are on them in the champions league than in their domestic league, so it is wrong to say that it was because Arsenal didn’t meet tougher sides that is why they got to the finals, the thing is that teams change tactics depending on their opponents, even if Arsenal played those teams that you feel are strong they would have still defeated them and reach the finals, this same so called small teams like COMO is what defeated Man U 4:1 in this current champions league, hence, while we encourage Arsenal to improve their gameplay because this particular Champions league will be obviously tougher, we should also applaud them for their exceptional performances in the last champions league.

I think that in football, desired goal cannot be achieved only by good performance, of course, luck is also involved with performance. This season Arsenal are not able to play the way they played last season. Although I will not say that their performance is bad right now, there is no certainty that they will solve the problem what they failed to do in the past. Rather, it is true that there is doubt whether they will be able to reach the same level as they participated in the semi-finals last time. The coach's tactical change can help the team in some matches but can also set them back in some matches. Now the team has to secure its position by improving performance consistently.

I don't think their chances of winning the Champions League are that high this season. Even reaching the final is still uncertain, let alone winning it, I think it's still a long way off.
There are still several strong teams they would have to overcome, and a lot can happen in the knockout stages. On top of that, their squad doesn't look any stronger than it was last season, at least from what I've seen.
So, concluding that they have a strong chance of winning the Champions League this season is still too soon, especially when there are still matches they need to go through.

Currently we have few good team who have higher probability of wining the UEFA champions league title. First I will put PSG is top of head, second I will pick Barcelona and the rest will be Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid etc. I put PSG on first because their performance are still there and even their players is still in clutch...... On the other hand Barcelona was also the strongest candidate but the recent battle between Barcelona and PSG prove it that PSG is much favorite than Barca.......

Regarding through Arsenal I will say this season they will feel little bit hurdleness like many team are there to trail their quality for the title. So probably they will try to give a tough time to Arsenal. However let's see what happens next.

Not when PSG intend meeting up with PSG'S three consecutive win record, you're right that last season was Arsenal's biggest chance and they misused it. Although they're still one of the strongest in the tournament, their performance and draw against Bayern Munich is a prove but this season would be more tougher than the previous.
I'll rate PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid first before rating Arsenal then Bayern Munich in teams with high chances of reaching the finals, compared to last season, they'll doing well currently cause they've not lost any game yet.
In fact last season Arsenal had a chance to win the Champions League trophy but they squandered that chance indeed two of their team players missed penalties in that final match, as a result it came to our attention that they failed to win the trophy in that match. Another thing I noticed Arsenal have won two out of three matches in the UEFA Champions League this new season but managed to draw 2-2 against German league club Bayern Munich in their group stage match, so it proves that the team may have that potential this season too as they are already second in the Premier League.

You see, among the teams that have a high chance of reaching the UEFA Champions League final this season, PSG will be ahead of Bayern Munich, besides it seems that Arsenal and Real Madrid are also possibilities but it appears that Barcelona have already lost a match against reigning UCL champions PSG.
Arsenal faced PSG in the Champions League final last season where they took an early lead against PSG but unfortunately they couldn't hold on to that lead for long and due to some mistakes by their defenders PSG were equalised again. If Arsenal had held on to that lead then maybe it wouldn't have been PSG who won the Champions League last season but it would have been Arsenal and of course they had a big chance last season which they didn't take. I think Arsenal had less penalty practice in that match otherwise Arsenal wouldn't have had such a bad performance in penalties. But we have to learn from the past and forget the past, maybe Arsenal did the same and focus fully on the leagues this season.

One thing that can be understood from the recent match between Barcelona and PSG is that despite being equal in terms of ability, PSG was far ahead in terms of strategy. This team has been fighting to maintain their superiority in the Champions League and has succeeded in that fight time and time again. The team is increasing their ability to repeat last season and the way they defeated Barca was a great strategy to maintain their superiority.

There are still many matches left in the tournament and there will be a lot of changes between the teams in terms of points so nothing can be said for sure at this point but I think Arsenal will not repeat their mistake and they are favourites.

I disagree: Barcelona are a great team, I love what they are doing, especially with all the La Masia players they have in the first team, but they are not a complete team because they are missing a great center back: right now they only have Cubarsí, who is incredibly good for his age but sometimes he also makes huge mistakes. I really don't know why they didn't push more to buy Bastoni, because with a 70 million offer Inter would have sold him. They spent a ton on money over the years but they never really made the effort to bring in a real defender.

PSG, on the other end, are a complete team, it's almost difficult to find a weakness.

If Arsenal can reach the final again, there's certainly potential for them to be more confident, as they'll certainly strive to win the UCL trophy. We'll see what happens with Arsenal, but their failure to win the UCL last season was truly a shame. Winning the UCL back then would have made Arsenal fans happier, seeing them win both the UCL and the EPL.

However, I think the competition this season is even tighter, and it won't be easy for Arsenal to reach the final or win the title. Arsenal will next face Slavia Prague. Who do you think will win? I think Arsenal has the greatest potential to win.

He's not doing very well in the Premier League, but I'm convinced he has what it takes to do well this season too, both in the league and in the Champions League.
PSG certainly won't easily win their third Champions League cup in a row, they seem to be struggling a lot (even in the league) certainly more than Arsenal and more than last year.

It does not make any sense to compare domestic English league with a Champions League that is comprises of different domestic leagues from different continents. Apart from that, Champions League has knockout, it has played off and quarter with semi final. These makes it easy to eliminate teams that are under performing in tbe league unlike the Premier League that a team will be struggling and may escape relegation before the end of the season.

Champions League also combined tough teams to knock out each other, teams like PSG and Bayern has strong root in this tournament but because they are paired with other tough opponents, they don't sometimes make it to the final. If Premier League is arranged this way, I'm not sure how the table will looks like.

I think Arsenal has the greatest potential to win.

that's what i think too, arsenal is currently a team that remains very strong, fresh from a victory last year and therefore the stuff to win is absolutely there, this is to say that the players do their thing and if there is even a bit of luck they can even go on to win what they missed last year, all that's missing is luck because the game is there.

Arsenal was the only team that could have stopped Paris Saint-Germain's inexorable advance that year but it's not always possible to do that, they had a golden period, literally, even being able to go on to win the Champions League, but that doesn't mean the boys won't be able to do it again, they're still very strong.

You're right, the teams in the Champions League have only played three matches so far. So, with that in mind, we certainly can't predict which teams will advance to the final. Because, basically, the teams in the Champions League are all very strong. But if we talk about which teams currently have the greatest potential to advance to the round of 16, I think PSG, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Barcelona will certainly qualify easily. Because currently, these teams are performing very well. But yes, this prediction is also clearly inaccurate, because in the Champions League, sometimes unexpected things can happen. So, because of that, I think we should just patiently wait and see which teams will advance from this phase. So, right now, we don't need to discuss which teams will advance to the final, because that's still a long way off. Therefore, we'd better just enjoy the current matches and see who is the best so far.

Yeah, Arsenal have been progressing for a while now and we can see that. Their efforts have paid off in the Premier League last season. The same thing is happening in the champions league but if champions league is won by steady progress, I think Inter Milan should be in this discussion too. Inter had played two champions league final lately but guess where they crashed out last season.

I would love to see Arsenal winning the champions league too. They have been progressing in all competitions but reaching the final last season doesn't guarantee success this season. It's possible to win the Premier League with consistency but it's a different case in the champions league because of the rivals you would be facing in each round and it becomes more like a gamble in the knockout stage.

Not much different from some people who like PSG, because for me they are the only team that is serious and ambitious for a UCL hat trick. Of course the challenge is on the other teams that have to be able to stop them like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. One of them is relied on to be able to thwart PSG dominance, at least in the quarterfinals.

Given recent events and if things continue this way, I don't see Barcelona as the favorite to win the Champions League. I see Arsenal playing very well, and even Liverpool. Real Madrid's improvement is significant there's no denying that—but I want to see a PSG vs. Real Madrid match to see how much pressure Real Madrid can withstand. It's interesting because we're used to Real Madrid having a bad spell or not being at their absolute best, but be careful: Mourinho is rebuilding the team. I think Diomande is key to the squad; they have many attacking options, but I would never take Diomande or Mbappé out.

What will it take for Arsenal to reach the final this season? It won't be an easy effort for them, and seriously, if Arsenal get to the final this season again, it will definitely boost their confidence and motivate them to try every means possible to win the Champions League.Even last season, Arsenal really tried with their performance against PSG, even taking the game to a penalty shootout. However, they really messed up during the penalty shootout. I was just wondering how Eze and Gabriel ended up missing their penalties, as I hardly expected them to miss. This season, it is all about luck for them if they want to reach the final again. They are not playing badly, but their attacking line is not convincing enough at the moment to make them look like a team that will reach the final.Looking at Arsenal's next match against Slavia Prague, I don't see them struggling to win, especially since they will be playing at home. Therefore, I expect them to win the match without too many challenges.
