This one no be traditional advice, this no be a text book bitcoin advice, this is just my two cents, my own heartfelt opinion wey I one send to newbies wey still Dhey come up for their bitcoin journey.

Newbies to beginners(people wey don Dhey new but don already in the beginners phase of their journey) it is time to wake up and smell the coffee, that one na just an idiomatic expression to tell you to face your own reality, this na your own bitcoin journey so na your own reality, embrace it and work with or you work on it.

To face your reality for this your bitcoin journey you need to track your journey, bitcoin get many settings so by tracking your journey you go understand where your heat map has been more or less on the Bitcoin settings, you come this forum to learn bitcoin and this forum can help you track your bitcoin journey.


   How you go track this journey, you fit Dey ask for inside
1. Look for Wetin be your interest for bitcoin: wetin be that settings, area of bitcoin that intrigues you, that you engage and are engrossed in that when the conversation starts you Dey follow up with am

1(a) after you don find that area of bitcoin you are captivated by, track to know gon gon if you Dhey good for that Bitcoin area, no shame to unlearn bad knowledge and learn new one.

2. Look for that area of bitcoin you no Dey like near am: that bitcoin conversation wey you Dey jump over, e no Dey interesting to you and you never experience that area.

2(a) you can’t know what you Dey good at if you never try it out, after you have found that area you don’t touch, figure out why you do avoid it, invest like a week or two in learning it to see if it go atleast interest you, if it does keep on learning it have experience with it in real life that is you fit try using wetin you don learn. But if it doesn’t interest you no problem.


Tracking your bitcoin journey can
1. Identify, Refine and sharpen your favorite area of bitcoin
2. Identify, Build interest in areas of bitcoin you Dey jump over
3. Hoist your confidence up
4 become a well informed ambassador or teacher of bitcoin

Okayy you’ve given your two piece and they’re valid advices but coming here I was expecting to see more of; ways one can track their bitcoin journey just like the title says but it’s little to none in that regard.

Most of what you’ve written is how to improve on your bitcoin knowledge journey, which is fine. Tracking has to do with knowing how far and how well you’ve come and then knowing how to further or improve on it.

If you’re investing how much have you accumulated so far in BTC and not in dollar?
How effective and efficient have your investment strategy been?
What aspects of bitcoin is still unclear to you?
You know things like that!!…

I understand what you mean, though. Bitcoin journey is not all about investment. Investment is part of it; so is trading, security, cryptography, and more to say. Most people are too pragmatic about bitcoin investment, following what they have learned in multiple threads about DCA and dips. Whereas there are better sides of Bitcoin that they are not focusing on, which is interesting to know.
