I have a strong feeling you're confusing concepts.

Are you claiming you'll need KYC to fight scams?
If your security team detects a scam, they don't need any documents verification, they just block the scammers accounts.
What you're writing is just eyewash, because you don't want to admit that your anonymity is a myth that will be shattered with the first major withdrawal.
We all know this scenario very well.

They use the Terms of Service (TOS) as a weapon. I've said that what's most important is everything written in the TOS, not what the creators of the casino's ANN thread say when it comes to the KYC issue. Most new casinos, to attract customers, engage in deceptive advertising by stating in their ANN threads that the casino is anonymous and won't ask for KYC, but the casino's TOS has a clause about KYC.

It gets worse when people win a lot of money at the casino; they're asked for KYC and then accused of having too many accounts and are blocked, with the same old arguments: "After much investigation, our team detected that the user violated our TOS by having too many accounts."

Of course, it's a weapon, and we all know it very well. The only thing that pisses me off is the story that it's not about that.
Everything is clearly spelled out in the ToS, and the friendly staff tries to make it seem like it's about fighting scams.

If you accuse someone of money laundering and they pass KYC, will you unblock their account and give them their money back? Is that what KYC in the ToS is for? I'm very curious!

Edit: For anyone curious about the history of our mascot, here is a quick look at some of the early drafts and concept work from our studio months before we locked down the main look. Everything from 2D cartoon style to the hyper realistic style we went with! 🦍🎨
Cool designs. If it were up to me, I'd choose this version and keep these elements: Jersey Jacket (always in Purple/White), Purple/White Shoes. The Allstars logo in it looks great, too, but could also have been in purple (the "All" part).
This would have given your platform some sort of color identity, and users who previously viewed your platform would remember it whenever they see those colors, in short, instant brand recognition. But that's just me.  Cheesy

BTW, I've sent you a pm about the $10 Free Bonus. It would be nice to be able to try out the platform.  Wink

We completely understand where this cynicism is coming from. If you’ve spent any real time in the crypto gambling space, you have probably seen dozens of predatory casinos use a sudden "exit-KYC" or a fake multi-accounting accusation as a weapon to seize funds from a player who just hit a massive win. It can be a dirty industry, and you have every right to be protective of your funds.

It was mentioned that if a security team detects a scam, they should just block the scammer's account. However, it is not always that simple from an operator's perspective. If a system flags a regular user by mistake (a false positive), having a KYC process gives that innocent user a formal way to prove who they are and that they are a real person and get their money back. Without that process, a casino would just block them permanently with no recourse, which looks terrible to the community. Having this clause strictly reserved for extreme cases protects an honest player from arbitrary, unilateral account bans just as it protects the platform from actual fraud.

Regarding the idea that the illusion shatters with the first major withdrawal:

We don't expect you to take our word for it, so we invite the forum to follow our track record instead. In our rather short time of operation, we have already processed multiple large sized withdrawals with zero KYC intervention, because, like it almost always is, the play was entirely fair.

We aren't going to remove a standard safety valve from our legal terms because running a platform without such security architecture is near impossible. But we will continue to prove our operational philosophy day after day with every cashout we process. If anyone on this forum plays on Allstars, wins big, and experiences a sudden, unprovoked KYC trap, we expect them to bring it straight to this thread and expose us publicly. Until then, we hope our daily payout speed can do the talking. 🦍

Welcome to the forum, Allstars team! It's good to know your stance regarding VPN and KYC, I've seen that a lot of users were confused, including me... For now, I would be happy to test out your platform as I enjoy trying out new platforms. Regarding the free $10, may I ask if it's only applicable to casinos/slots and not in sports betting?

Welcome to the thread, joeperry! The $10 bonus is normally only applicable to our Casino. However, we just rolled out our Free Bet functionality in the Sportsbook and we need some real players to put it to the test. If you want to help us test out the new sports system, shoot me a PM with your username and I will gladly credit you a $10 Free Bet for the Sportsbook instead!

You make a good point about the purple/white color identity and instant brand recognition. We went with a more classic color palette in the end as the whole super dark background with "neony" accents is so widely used. We do have our mascot in purple on some banners but I don't think any of them are live currently though. I found an old draft which I'll post below.

I also just saw your PM drop in regarding the $10 bonus. Thanks for all the feedback! 🦍💜

Earlier you mentioned these scams as those related to KYC:
We do not gate our deposits or withdrawals behind any mandatory KYC checks, nor do we run background geographic profiles on our players. The clause in our terms is a standard industry safety valve strictly reserved for malicious system abuse, such as organized bot networks, multi-account promotional exploitation, money laundering, or hacking attempts against our gaming servers.
Can you explain, with an example, how someone caught in one of these scams can defend themselves with KYC verification?

(And I want to remind that the main point is that your ToS contains information about the required KYC, and you claim that you are an anonymous casino.)

To give you a real-world example: We encourage VPN use, which means players can at times share the same public nodes. If a malicious actor uses a popular VPN to launch an automated multi-account bot raid on a promo, a regular, honest player that happens to be on that same VPN node may get caught in the automated crossfire.

Without a security safety valve in our T&Cs, our only choice would be to permanently block that entire IP cluster, meaning the innocent user loses their funds with zero recourse. Instead, a reserved verification clause allows an honest player to easily clear their name and get unblocked, while the bots fail the request. It protects genuine players from arbitrary, permanent system bans.

There is a massive operational difference between requiring KYC (gating registration, deposits, withdrawals and everyday plays behind IDs) and reserving the right to use an emergency brake for threats to the platform.

Allstars.io requires zero personal data, names, or documentation to register, deposit, play and withdraw. We deliberately engineered our rewards to be volume-based (Rakeback/Cashback) rather than traditional "welcome bonuses" precisely to minimize the multi-accounting bait that forces many other casinos to constantly KYC their users. This is why we've only had to use our safety valve exactly once in 4 months. Our system is not bulletproof though and we are not naive about that. However, our framework ensures regular players are not bothered, while the emergency brake is there to keep the platform safe. 🦍

As promised, I received your PM today and I read it and as per your instructions, I liked one of them and I will introduce them here too so that if anyone wants to put an avatar of your project, then they can. As per your instructions, I have also removed the Official Rep code and I put it in front of you so that my free space has something of your project. Now I will go around putting your avatar and if I work on any campaign in the meantime, I will take it off, otherwise I will be paired with it as long as I am free. Allstars.io Team thanks.
