I have good plans for what I want to invest money on. The only thing I don't have is the money to make those plans come to reality, and is I'm lucky some day to win a jackpot from gambling, I know exactly what I will invest the money on and won't be like those who throw away gambling winnings because of lack of plans and the money coming when they least expect of it.
It is not as if those people that won big from gambling yet they squander it don't have useful things to use money for but one thing about free money is that as it came easily so it will go that is why we are always advised to avoid free things. When you get things easily you won't value it but if it takes you a little effort for you to receive something then you put a lot of value on it and that is why gamblers that win big amount don't use their money wisely although there are minorities that make good use of the money and we can be among those minorities by having good plans for our money before they come. A good advice is that before you receive any money you should have plans for it because money you have no plan for will decide some useless plans for itself.
I think it is highly significant to have a strategy before you receive a significant wager. When people win the big wins, they believe they will make good choices but they tend to be impulsive when excited. That is why some winners lose their winnings more quickly than they had anticipated. If I won a large sum, I would not buy anything on impulse or do anything else on the spur of the moment, but work on my long-term goals at all times. Some of the funds would be invested and saved and the rest could be used to help my family. Gambling can be a life-changing experience, provided it is done in a disciplined and systematic way.
