You try to hope that Arsenal will win, I know it's a game of luck, but atleast you can make it less luck and more skill this is how we win in long a term gambling. If these 2 clubs play 10 matches PSG will win most most of the matches and they will loose less, there for if you bet them to win always on similar matches because you know they are better, (exclude emotions) do you know you will be winning long term gambling. Now arsenal will win sometimes in those 10 matches, but not most of the times, and your target in betting should be most of the Times.

Some time we let emotions do the gamble, we refuse to be strategic and that is what might be holding some spots bettors back. In the club world cup Chelsea won against PSG. But I placed the bet for PSG to win regardless of Chelsea being my club. I knew that out of numbers of matches PSG will win more so I choose to bet on them, but I lost the bet and it fine at least I was honest with my self.

You can't simply know how the results of a bet turn out even if you try to remove emotions from the equation because both teams or individuals have the mindset to win so bad but could be limited by experience or tactics of which we can't see or know about.
It's good to not always favor your favorite team or individual in a bet but rely more on the stats of previous encounters to ascertain which is the better option, at least you get to sleep well knowing you either won or lost by making a sound prediction instead of one riddle by personal sentiments and emotions.

In my case, if the favorite is on the odds of like x1.01 to x1.20, I'd very much like to take my gamble on the underdog if I am being forced to bet. But the other solution would be to not just place any bet at all. Or, if there are spreads available.
I have won some underdog bets like x18.00 and x7.00, and I actually believed that those underdogs would win their match. This led me to the belief that not all heavy favorites are going to win. The oddsmakers are also using analysis that is available to us. It's not big against small or fat versus thin. The leagues are trying to balance them all with heights and weights so there's always a chance for an underdog to win a match. It's not being delusional. Some gamblers really believe it that way.

How are you going to make profit long term that way if odds are low when betting on the favorite? For every 10 bets on PSG, you can lose only one to achieve a draw between what you have won and what you have lost. And if they lose 2 times in 10 matches, you are already at loss.

Actually, they don't even have to lose the match to prejudice you. If the match ends in a draw, you lose your bet too. And it's not unusual to have a scenario where you lose 2 bets out of 10 total.

I think you have got some lapses here which you probably did not realize. You admits that PSG is possible to loose some of her matches against Arsenal or other teams and that certainly should tell how you are going to loose if you continually bets on PSG to win, is it not?

The confusion comes where you don't even know which of the match the big team (PSG) will win. As the game of football maybe, it is always uncertainty to determine the outcome. Especially when the two teams have influential strengths.
Perhaps no football team has ever been undefeated.
Just accept it that you won't get it right at all causes no matter how much you have believed on the strong team.

Well, sorry but I dont see how anything you said here has anything to do with being delusional, and this is because from my personal experience with sports betting, there is never a guarantee of any kind as to whether it's the team with the highest chances of winning that will win or not, sometimes, it's all about which team is the most lucky and not really about who has the highest chance of winning.

And there is a place you talked about skill in the part of your post I snipped out, sports betting has absolutely nothing to do with skill, sports betting is major a knowladge based game where you are betting based on what you know about the team and sports generally..
I have personally lost a lot of bets where I bet on the team I know had the highest chances of winning, though I've also won some, this is why I initially said that at times, it's not really about which team has the highest chances of wining but much more about which team is the luckiest, because believe it or not, luck is still very much present in sports and betting.

That's just the problem, gamblers judge from only one perspective, they don't think that the game can turnaround, the team that wins in match might not be the one that will win next match, and sticking to this idea brings in a lot of losses because they failed to to understand that football is a game and can change its stats at any time and having this mindset makes them to enjoy every moment they are watching football with a calm mind.

You are completely ignoring the odds.  If a heavy favorite has, for example, 1.10 odds, you have to risk $100 just to make a measly $10 profit.  If they lose just once in a fluke upset, you have to win the next ten bets just to break even.  The "long term" will crush you.  In sports betting, the house takes a cut (the vig) on every single line, meaning the math dictates the bookie will slowly eat your bankroll alive over time.

But the problem with this style is that favorites always have small odds. If you keep placing bets on them because you want to take less risk, you will keep winning pennies. Don't get me wrong, I sometimes bet on teams that have higher chances of winning the game. But I also like taking higher risks; if I am lucky, it might lead to a big win. Sometimes, the money I make from a single bet on a lowly placed team is higher than the amount I have won betting on favorites for several months.
