The accumulation of long term games and today games, which one do you prefer?

I don't like parlays. I prefer to bet on a single match for that day and it must be the one that I'm more knowledgeable on. Accumulating your games on one slip will limit your chance of winning which makes it very risky.

If I feel like betting one parlay, it's just 2-3 leg parlay and nothing more. Some gamblers because of low odd on a single bet prefer to add more games to their slip and later run at loss. I prefer to win little amount of money than losing.

Especially with crypto betting I don't really like long term bets. You wanna keep yourself the option to sell some of your coin once a hard selloff begins, so if you have money stuck in a bet there is basically nothing you can do. Actually I don't see any advantage in long term betting, the odds are basically the same as at any other bet.

I prefer long-term betting. Slow but can be steady. Also, I enjoy it more. Since I am a very big fan of the sport I am betting on, it also helps me stay updated on everything that will happen in the league. The main purpose is not just winning bets, but also to know more about recent changes in players, coaches, referees, or rules.
For some, this is unimportant because they are just there to place a bet, then they are gone. But for those who really follow the sport that they prefer, they want to be in touch with the trend. Just a month of missing the games feels like I am already a stranger to it. Sudden trades, coaches being fired, retirements, and so on.

I think it will depend on the bets to be made. I also like single bets as well as parlays. For parlay bets, sometimes I do adjustments for several staged matches that allow me to cash out if I feel something is not going well in the remaining matches. But for single bets, the latest match is definitely the choice. You can do pre-match betting, and also with live betting. For accumulated bets, I prefer matches that take place in stages.

Honestly no matter the strategy someone chooses, bankroll management and discipline can be more important than the strategy itself. Alot of gamblers has decent predictions, but still yet they loss because how they overtake or go after losses if things don't go as planned. So for me I will say that, keeping expectations realistic and also avoiding alot of selections on one ticket is usually reducing unnecessary risk. I've never like combined bets, I prefer analyze the games individually and bet on them as they unfold during an week
Sometimes I even make several bets for an entire week of games, but they are always individual bets because I do not want the result of one to interfere with the bet on another.
Is my profit small? Yes, it is... but I do not gamble for the money, I simply like to see a "green" result in my statement, regardless of the amount
The simple confirmation that my prediction for that game were correct is more rewarding than money that I won with bet.

Sometimes I go back to change my bet before start in case there is a last minute absence (players get injured in training) or significant changes to the final result, but that rarely happen.

I'm a kind of Gambler that does not like procrastinating things or having a prolonged gambling duration upon the game and playing, I like quick results and also not waste time on it as well, choosing games with a longer duration does not make me have enough fun because I will put my expectation on it with the hope of things getting right without knowing that it is only a means of putting my expectation much on it and later go to discover that everything went on a missed attempt.

As for me, I mostly gamble on weekly games, and occasionally, I also gamble games across weeks too. However, using any of these systems depends on an individual. There are some gamblers who need immediate result, and can not stand the patience of waiting for weeks before before seeing their bets play, irrespective of the confidence they might have on that bet. More also, some bettors can be patient with their bet, and does not care how long their bet will stay .
As a gambler who has tried both methods or system of gambling, non of the methods will always give you your desired result because the same risk is applied to both methods.

My personal experience, especially sports gambling, in my opinion there is no long or short/current accumulation, my understanding is that every bet we want to place is the same, it still cannot be separated from potential risks, chances of winning, losing and so on.

The basic point is, whatever accumulation you choose is the same, every analysis, strategy, prediction that you collect to place a bet, the results remain the same, whether in the long term or now, every match has a big influence on what you have. If your prediction is correct, the chance of winning is big for you, if you miss your analysis in betting, your money will be lost, this applies in any form of accumulation, no exception.

There's no one that doesn't work for me, mate, as a matter of fact, I do both, I bet on accumulated games that could be last for a week and sometimes too if I see an opportunity of fine games that is play in a day, I can as well compile and bet on it, I normally do that on a day that I'm more free to take bets on live games, I would make sure I bet on accumulator and also bet some of those games on a single ticket, especially those ones that I know have the chance of being successful, I will bet on it single so that other bad games won't cause me to lose the bet.

I am a fast moving bettor who prefers faster turnover. I usually pick 2-3 matches that are played on the same day for a parlay. I don't think long term parlays are better than one day parlays or vice versa. If other people say they prefer long term parlays because they can pick matches or teams that are easier to analyze and predict, I believe it's just an illusion of control.

i think the popularity of long term bets is increasing with prediction markets. they seem to offer a more interesting experience than casinos, and the fact that it’s easier to buy and sell bets at any time is drawing users there. i’ve never placed a bet that lasts for months, but i can see that people are gradually moving in that direction. i think betting on that day’s matches is better. i don’t think i could wait weeks for a bet to settle. also, making betting slips is nice only if they’re limited to just 2-3 matches.

But the 1 week game allows you to wait till the end of the last game which Might be a week or two before placing another bet. But the advantage of the weekly games is that it helps you reduce the rate of Gambling addiction or reduce the risk of losing money.  Another thing is that the 1 day game allows you to see the results and prepare for another ticket, on like the weekly game that will play gradually untill you lose the last game on the last match. It is always heartbreaking to see that you are almost close to wining but you later lose. Sometimes we prefer losing early than waiting to get a heartbreak later.

That's true, but one thing is that this type of game allows you to cashout when you are no longer comfortable to wait till the end. When you start thinking if you made a proper prediction or if you picked the wrong game and you see that the game is still in your favour, you can just cashout since it has not yet lost because the time frame is long enough to make decisions and withdraw, but in 1 day prediction parlay game, you may not have the opportunity to cashout expecialy if the time interval are not much. Like all game starting simultaneously. So both have their differences . There is still advantage on the long parlay game.

This makes me remember a friend of mine that will always gamble and play almost a month time duration for a selected games and try to keep it to just only check on the progress as they play the matches, while some people like I do only prefer to play at once and see my result the following day or even if possible the same day I claim the bet, I don't like the kind of game that accumulate to take longer time to play.
