Ha! You think kids are smarter today because they have the Internet.
I would argue the kids who grew up without it so as adults invented it were way smarter.

This is the part a lot of people are missing. They see kids today with the internet and easy access to info, and then assume they are smarter because of it. They do not realize that having access to information is not the same as intelligence.
Kids today are simply luckier because they are exposed to info earlier and can learn faster thanks to the tools and information already available. In other words, they have a better starting point, not greater intelligence than the generations before them.
Everything kids have today, from science and technology to the internet itself, was built by the generations before them.
