What is really special about all this bandits that the federal government and state government are finding it very difficult to smash them down. Because am pretty sure if it was a normal kidnapers the government would have look for a possible way of tracking them down to their location through the aid of modern technology and get them arrested, so why is this once different, am just curious to know.

However, insecurity in Nigeria has nothing to write about, and I'm pretty sure their are some government officials that has hands in this because you can't tell me that some ground of so called bandits are more than government, that's impossible. Their are more that the ordinary citizens are not getting straight and it pains me more because the common citizens are the people suffering the whole thing. I gave you a logical answer from a recent success with UAV, if Nigerian navy has drones which they used to track the guy and arrest him from that area as remote as lake chad, then you should expect that air force has lots of it and they do actually. Let me take you back to a publication from last year. They have lots of them which they've acquired and can actively track bandits anywhere. The insurgency is politically motivated and that's why they're not doing much even with the advanced technology they've purchased.

Air Force purchased  8 UAV as far back as 2020 from China and trained 70 personnel to handle it. Bro they've all these available, na politics be dis banditry of a thing.

By now, we should have had a State of emergency in the security sector of the country and then it becomes easy to know that there's already a long term plan on how to curb the exceces of these guys. If there's no long term plan on how to deal with these guys, giving them either of these demands will only make them stronger to carry out more crime because the money you do either of these for them, they will come back stronger and deadlier.

Imagine you pay the 1 Billion naira, they will kidnap another set of people within a short period of time and you will still pay another one billion for Thier ransom.

Imagine you release Thier bandit that were held captive, you've also strengthen them in the process and if you give them Hilux they will still use It to increase in Thier kidnapping.

Amendment of the oyo constitution to suit them is a no go area because it only means they are more powerful than the Nigerian government. As much as we want the release of those held captive, we also should consider the long term effect of the price we are willing to pay now for Thier result. Unfortunately, this is not even a bigger problem, the bigger problem is that we don't have a president that's willing to see this problem as something that's very disturbing and that demands the highest level of attention.

If I'm the Governor, first of all I wouldn't be on that state and watch terrorists killing the people of my state, so I would have already stopped them before the kidnapping could have taking place, but however since it has already happened, if not that the government is also involved in all of this, what they could have done is to use half of this amount to get things that could have show them the place they kept those children so that to the bandits mind they would be thinking the state governor is working how to give them there demands but doesn't no there is plot of unaware ambush on them and recover the all the children.

Seyi makinde is a wise governor,he won't agree to their conditions because they is no guarantee that the school children who were kidnapped will all be set free unharmed. Concerning the issue of this kidnapping that took place in Ogbomosho, oyo state, it has really pushed a lot of social media engagement and call out on the government to take swift action and this is the type of energy we need collectively when things like this happen irrespective of the place it happens, the ethnicity or religion. Today, I came across a video where one of the teachers was saying something contradictory, that the bandits didn’t demand for all that and that Nigerians should not make their release become harder. I think if this is their demands for the exchange of the release of this innocent children, it’s a fair deal for the government should not joke with and spring into action for the safe release of these innocent students.

They’ve been giving bandits the authority to move freely in the country before now, so this will not be the first. Even the ones they manage to capture before, they still release and rehabilitate them, so what’s now the difference.
With the recent news, they didn’t even ask for all this, just the oyo state government trying to complicate and make things worse for this victims because it is now discovered that they never asked for money and some other things op wrote, the only thing they asked for is the release of bandits that has been held in prison.

The kidnapped victims including children have been in the bush for more than 3weeks and nothing has been done about it, at this point some might even be death that we are not even aware of, it is better the government do as they are asking than allow those innocent souls die there. The governments have been working with this people for a long time, so this will definitely not be the first.

If I was to be the governor, I will never think it twice to implement this laws, because agreeing to their decision is automatically surrendering to them, and which in future coming they will still demand for more and by that time it will be too late to handle. This is the truth of the matter and cannot be deniable to be the main reason why insurgency in Nigeria is revolving and not showing any signs of stopping any time. Just see the money always allocated to the ministry of defence, ain’t that money enough to get their sophisticated weapons to fight the terrorists or even to have that big technology that’s require for better surveillance and rescue of kidnapped victims and to better guide the forests which are their hideouts.
