It was an extremely humiliating match for Argentina. Spain basically crushed Argentina. The game was in Argentina's side on the stadium during the whole 90 minutes. Argentina couldn't move forward, they were in stuck. They played really well in defense, Dibu played extremely well as a goalkeeper. Basically, they had a chance to win if Fernandez wouldn't be kicked. They did a huge mistake, Argentinians couldn't control their temper and didn't care about yellow and red cards. I don't understand why you can't control yourself in the final, especially when you know that you'll be kicked and your team will have to play 10 against 11 or even 9 against 11. Paredes also deserved to get kicked.

Spain is very amazing because their national team if winning big titles, will create a dominating era as they won Euro 2008, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012. These three big titles, 2 Euros, 1 World Cup in 6 years show their strong domination from European to global football. Now with this generation, they already won Euro 2024, World Cup 2026 and will head towards Euro 2028 with no target than winning it.

This generation is different than the 2008 - 2012 generation because they have less star players but winning two big titles with strong togetherness and commitment to support each other. This makes them even stronger than the 2008 - 2012 generation because they can use main players and substitutions very comfortably while don't make their performance quality changing too much.

Unfortunately, the opinion that the referees helped Argentina at this World Cup will stay in people's minds for a very long time.
In my opinion, in the first half of the final against Spain, the referee should have give a yellow card to the Argentines, and more than once. It was very obvious that Argentina was playing very dirty football. If Enzo hadn't received that second yellow card, I'm sure this match would have ended in a scandal.
Fortunately, Spain deservedly won, and congratulations to the entire team for not getting be provoked and playing a great match.

Fifa as a football governing body is more interested in making money in this past world cup than anything else, because they are aware that if the Argentina team that has Lionel Messi crash out of the competition, the price of match tickets is going to drop, since most fans wouldn't be that interested again. The bets on Spain and France, and even Brazil, Scotland, and Haiti, were quite easy; you could make multiple bets and always get odds of 2. Now, personally, I'll wait for the championships to develop before making predictions.

World Cup bets were not so easy even though Degen tried for them to be; otherwise, there would have been a lot of winners IMO. It is interesting to see people still having interest in other leagues besides the popular Premier League, La Liga, and the Italian league.

I will wait for the Premier League; that's the league I follow the most.
