For this player he selected 1000x so he won this much, but he could have tried 1000000x and he would win a lot more.
That's what I thought. His wager was on a 1,000x multiplier for a Limbo round that ended with a 1,000,000x multiplier. They could have simplified it and written it like that. There was no need to write how the player "hit" 1,000,000x. He didn't. He made a bet in a round that ended with that multiplier, but his wager was on a much lower value.
It is also possible that the player himself is unaware that the limbo hits 1,000,000 x since it automatically cashes out once it hits the betted multiplier and it will take time for the game to hit 1,000,000x.
I also don't think that the player regrets that he only bet 1000x. I bet he is truly excited when the multiplier reaches his bet point.
And yeah, it should not have been written the way it was written because the player did not hit that 1000000 multiplier in any sense.
Even so, it’s a huge win. But it is certainly something worth reflecting on. After 544 attempts, the big prize finally arrived. This shows that winning a big prize is possible, but not easy. In any case, now I’m tempted to play Limbo...

It is always tempting to play the game that is advertised to give a huge multiplier. I am very much tempted too, but the sense in me keeps me calm.
