Pep thought he was smart leaving when he did. He fooled the entire football world into believing that he’s one of the greatest managers to ever do it, but in reality is that he’s only won trophies by having the best players in every position. And of course the allegations following his time in Barcelona doesn’t help his reputation either. I hope after all this, people can see that Pep isn’t a genius, it doesn’t take an extraordinary mind to win trophies with that City squad.

Klopp spent about 900 million, yet he won only one league title. What about Chelsea? Their new management spent about a billion, but look at their squad and how they struggle. If and when it is confirmed by the Premier League that City are guilty of all the charges, which is effectively just five, rather than the 115 the EPL made it up to be, then there should be punishment, but it is ludicrous to strip a team of titles they won on the pitch.

It is surprising that even the bigger teams that also have huge resources and spent as much or even more money than City are crying and making a fuss out of all of this. I think somewhere at this point they signed their own death warrant. If they had agreed to a fine and a transfer ban, everyone would have forgotten about it in a season or two, and City would have come out of it with a clean slate. Manchester city is such an established and lucrative team that I highly doubt the courts will be motivated to deliver a devastating ruling. Bringing money into th country makes this matter political and even if a bad ruling is delivered I'm sure some political involvement will make it like a slap on the wrist. I personally don't think they should be stripped of the title. Even if they're to do that, it should instead be voided, I.e no winner for that year. What's far more important is that they get punished, either through a massive points deduction that could be spread across 3-4 seasons, a fine, a transfer ban for the same number of seasons as the points deduction, etc. That alone will affect their ability to compete for the next 4-5 seasons or there about.

And from all of this saga, my biggest respect goes to Jurgen Klopp for competing against City, and giving the league a very entertaining masterpiece. It was never a derby when both sides meet, but it was something a lot of people look forward to watching.

You people should, at the very least, read about things before you come up to say whatever you say. Manchester City triggered Haaland's release clause. They did not negotiate on a price with Dortmund. That is his release clause. Real clauses are not hidden figures. They are open for all to see.

In order for Dortmund to sign Haaland from Salzburg, they had to agree on a relatively low release clause so that it wouldn't be an issue for him when he wanted to leave Dortmund for a bigger club. Manchester United were interested, but he chose Dortmund because of the low release clause, which would mean he could leave easily, something United couldn't agree to.
I mean, many clubs won't agree to this because that would mean any club can sign the player for cheap as long as the player is willing to go.
At Dortmund, he didn't want to go to Chelsea, and then there was his father's(who is his agent) commission of about 30 million. Clubs weren't willing to pay that. In fact, I remember it was higher than that, but he and Manchester City settled on 30 million.

The period of the financial breach was from 2009-2018. Manchester City won 3 trophies in that period, and 2 were before the Klopp and Pep rivalry.

I would have loved to see how he would struggle with his team if maybe they gave them a 1-2 years ban on players buy, or maybe, announced that all there trophies within this crime years are stropped. I was almost getting tired of this news drag before it popped up again and this time, it's definitely getting closer. We have waited and waited and the verdict is getting closer. I understand the level of corruption in the game but it will be unfair to let the club go unpunished, not just any punishment, but a possible stripping of titles. This is not the first time this kind of crime is committed in football, so same measure should be applied. Marseille got striped of their title some years back on the ground of corruption and Juventus got striped of two titles on the ground of corruption too and still got relegated.

These should be Manchester city's rightful verdict, striping them of all the titles won during those years to send the signal to future players. Well, we wait and watch. No matter who's the boss, it's still a verdict on the club, not a person.

No. They're not mutually exclusive. The sports needs finances to be successful; if you don't have the finances, you cannot run a club well. Paying players and coaches, acquiring sponsors, and running the club requires money. The game and the financial state of the club are mutually inclusive. So...stripping them of the title is not a far off punishment to the crime.

But I agree with you on other parts, these guys are just hating on Manchester City—not surprised though, success is always accompanied by envy. But, whatever the punishment may be, let them not be regulated or completely banned from the premier league, I'll still love to see them play.
