Beautiful experiment and I guess you won't be the only one who has thought of this experiment and as well executing it. Based on this looking at this experiment, it I wonder how this AI can give an expected results that is winning more slips than loses because if it does that will mean a lot on the betting companies now that many people has feed from your thought like many has also feed from others having same thought as you (testing the AI).
Maybe you can have AI prediction on one slip and another slip where you applied your opinion, this will give a total or holistic test of AI in football predictions

If you want to try this out, it is better if you are doing it just for fun or to see what the outcome will be, to see what it looks like to bet with AI. However, if you are hoping to win or trying to see if it can be a strategy for you, I think using AI to predict this World Cup game may not give you an accurate outcome because the World Cup is very unpredictable, and you can't really assess the strength of every team.

AI may perform better in the predictions of competitions and leagues, but as for the World Cup games, I still have doubts about its predictions.

And sometimes I think why not ask your A.I to help you predict 5 to 7 games which can be bet on, in a form of a parley/combo in other to increase your odds. Because with this strategy, if only your prediction is able to play just as predicted, then you will have a higher chances of winning more money, than just playing just a single game daily.

The fact op is not depending only on AI is a smart move, this is common whereby we get little or more analysis from AI and then look into it for a better bet in order to win. Although I understand that you may not want to solely rely on AI, an ideal solution would be to portray the AI's prediction, if true, how much it would yield in return, and your final bet which might be different than AI's.

In the end, we'll see AI's accuracy and yours, including how much money AI and you would win or lose.

That's a solid +43% profit on your starting bankroll if you used the full size. Even though you didn't use the full size, still 1.43 is relatively solid odds win to start your challenge. I think I might do something similar to yours but with a much smaller bankroll. Forgot to mention that in my case, I'll use claude to ai fo first analyze each match with as many as possible betting markets then I go for the best and likely market after deep analysis per fixture.

I think the best application of AI is for making comparison and analysis of facts, because in the end, it's the gambler who gives the go ahead on amount to bet and what to bet on.  It's also a huge part of personal research also and if this is applied to the upcoming matches, am sure it would make more sense and be a better risk to make.

The first leg of any major competitions is always full of surprises and no wonder the red cards for both teams in today's clash and naturally, I would have bet on Mexico to win that match without needing to much any analysis or research or AI assistance because they are on home soil and I also believe they would out play the South Africans anytime on a different pitch.

That part has to be clear as well because I am interested to see how your journey will end. I hope you consider managing that bankroll properly so you can last longer. Maybe 10% per stake is not bad, though it is still aggressive. But given your small bankroll, I think that is the most suitable.

Grok and Chatgpt gives similar results and are the two best sports predictor for me; Grok analysis and tips on basketball, baseball and Esports 70% of the time are right and that's more than the average human tips I'd say.

I've used Gemini and it was the worst of them all (free version) it uses old information to analyze games.

AI is perfect for analysis and getting injuries and predicted lineup news- used them a few times last season on the Nigeria PL games for good.

And considering you have to pick one in three to profit just 1.43x, it's too low and unsustainable on long run. Sports betting was designed that way, and unlike some gamblers still believe, it's not that different from traditional casino games.

That's how sports betting odds on win or loss odds especially teams with both good stats. I don't think AI can give good suggestions on margins and handicap as it usually pointing on range of scores (depends on sports but usually is).

As for AI predictions, i don't think they're particularly reliable when it comes to handicap lines, margins, or exact score ranges. Those markets depend on a lot of variables that are difficult to predict accurately. What AI can do reasonably well is analyze available data and estimate which team has a higher probability of winning.
