At this point of time I don't even think a less corrupt society is even possible as corruption breeds corruption and the cycle continues, in one way or the other I too I've done things that aren't that righteous so he have to pray that less corrupt government that has a little bit of empathy should rule and that would foster atleast some level of development and maybe start another cycle.

What you've said all applies to my country. My country has abundant natural resources, but poverty remains high due to a flawed leadership system that encourages corruption among many officials. My question is this vote of a thing does it really count? Because I was having an argument with someone last week about this election things, and I was like we will use our vote to remove the current president this time and I was like no one is selling his/her vote this time for a bag of rice or moodle of rice rather, and he was like if I like I should vote whomever I choose that if my vote doesn't go to the chosen one that the party has picked them that vote is not valid, and he went ahead to tell me that before the vote they've already conducted election and already picked the winner so the one we are outside doing is just a formality, and I'm very sure that most time it's lack of development that cause this ones.
