How many of these leaders in these underdeveloped worlds who are dancing to the drum beats of the imperialists that has being attacked or accosted despite how corrupt and bad they are with the governance of their country? But try be the nice guy to your country and stubborn guy to the foreign powers and see how they manufacture ways to truncate the government by making situations difficult for your administration. All this points to the natural resources in these LDCs, most of them are naturally blessed with much rare earth materials that the first world think they deserve to be in control of for supplies to their technological developments.

I've mentioned this in another post that under development and corruption is more about loyalty to colonial masters than intentional mismanagement of resources by leaders. This has the very simplest example in my country, the President Mr. BAT continues to degenerate the economy and pay little or no attention to economic and infrastructure development, security is weak and there's kidnapping everywhere, yet words bank is at the brink of lending same person that has borrowed over $9 billion in just 3 years and nothing to show for it another $1.75 billion. Nigerians went to their X handle to protest and we're blocked. Now tell me what we'll call this apart from reward for loyalty?

I truly wonder how they (the government and officials) in these countries can be so greedy and greedy that they are willing to create a system that tortures and impoverishes their own people. These are truly cruel and inhumane actions and practices.

They require more effort for business. In such countries, technology is also less, education and other things are lacking, due to which students face difficulty in getting education. Only a few students can get education. In such countries, people also have less money. Less developed countries are generally those in which people live a difficult life and the country needs development.

Therefore, a country's economy is completely destroyed when it is led by corrupt leaders, government, and officials. They have no plans to develop the nation, they only plan to enrich themselves.

But the Truth is that the masses still have the power to remove a leader that is not competent either by Force or by re-election. There are some countries that did justice to their leader when the wickedness was much, and trust me they are doin well today. Example of such country is Ghana.

The system favours them, so they will do anything to uphold it. The more ignorant and illiterate the people are, the easier it is to control them. For this reason, they will make sure to continue to keep the people that way. They weaponise poverty so that once they offer these poor people peanuts, they will be grateful and praise them for it.
People like that can't rise up. If there is an uprising, all the politicians need to do is give the illiterate and ignorant ones some peanuts, and they will fight for them.

Something can be done, but those countries are not ready to do it. Nobody hands over power. Human beings are by nature a people of anarchy. This is why there are laws (written or unwritten) in every organisation that humans are involved in. It is futile to expect a human being to simply do what is right. This is why there are laws and punishments for those who break them and a system that makes sure everybody is bound by those laws.
Haven't you thought about the fact there streets need speed bumps? I mean, every human being should know that you are not supposed to speed in a busy street, or a school area where there are kids, but no, there has to be a system that will stop idiots from speeding.
There has to be a camera on a traffic light because humans won't obey it if there is no one there. That is the nature of humans.

So, as a society or people, politicians will only do what you allow them to do. A politician can do whatever he wants in a country, and he would still work freely because people don't say "No, we can't take this". They are either too scared to talk, or worship him too much to speak against him, or they simply don't know it's their job to make sure the politician doesn't go out of line.

Developed countries don't have a system that works simply because the people are good people. It works because there is a system that makes sure everybody does the right thing, and there are consequences for not doing the right thing if you're caught.

Almost, if not all, officials see their net worth grow once they're elected, not just theirs, but also that of their friends, especially those who donated funds for their campaigns. And I'm sure there's more to it because, believe me, they don't declare all of their assets to avoid taxes, investigations, and other legal issues.

They want to build the nation, not for the benefit of the nation itself, but for their own benefit. Corruption and greed are so deeply rooted in the PH that I strongly believe the country is hopeless and may never become a developed country.

The majority of the citizens of Nigeria are not happy with the government. Most of the leaders here are mired in corruption but they are very influential. They use muscle power to seize power in elections and keep the citizens in poverty for their own interests because they know that if the majority of the citizens of the country live a rich life, they cannot be easily managed. Those leaders consider the poor as a tool to stay in power because it is easier for the rich to manage the needy. The poor community is ready to do anything for a small amount of money and it is easy for the leaders to get anything done by them.

Corrupt leaders have other tools such as reducing the allocation for the education sector. They know that if a nation is educated, those citizens will be aware and will protest against the corrupt, so the leaders destroy the education sector instead of improving the quality of education.

Yes it is a politics of interest, why they are running to become policy makers or have power in government positions there is certainly a purpose and purpose, and clearly from year to year from President to President this does not change, the welfare traded on the campaign is a sentence of hope for a better life even after being elected does not run it.
The system in this country is very bad therefore the country is underdeveloped if it has someone whose heart is sincere it will be evil also because it will clash with other interests which he himself must also have an interest in getting elected by having connections and financing campaigns and with that having to pay when elected.

Corruption is among the things that make country bad to citizens and it will be hard for the country to develop like other developed countries in the world every human beings want to live and invest in that country, because they know that there are opportunity to grow wealth faster. But if you look at some bad leaders that involves in such attitude before they leave the office for another government to take over, I don't think they will encourage the new government to keep destroy their economy for corruption to keep bearing the bad name.

Who must have made the underdeveloped countries looks bad? The government of the country is responsible for their predicament the same way the leaders of other nations are working hard to make their countries better and attractive to other people that finds it suitable for their vacation. Leadership can make a country a vacation site and can also make a country a centre of atrocities.
All countries have raw materials they can use to build their nations. When a bad leader arrives, they make life difficult for their people including outsiders that are there for the development of the state.

I guess you're talking about "absolute" poverty, which is slightly different from the kind of poverty found in many developed countries. There are support systems in most developed countries, where if you can make the minimum effort to stay off drugs and alcohol (although there's many reasons people want to escape using these options) then you can possibly work your way back on to the economic ladder. Absolute poverty usually means there are almost no options open to you, likely because you've missed out on education - usually because of poorly organised government - and are lucky if you can scrape together anything to sustain yourself day to day. Jobs from that starting position are almost non-existent and it's likely you'll be stuck in this crisis mode for your whole life, it's a very sad existence unfortunately and many people in developed countries will never truly see that level of poverty.

Currently in many countries, things like these are working, and big investors are enjoying this corruption with domestic links and having a good increase in their wealth because no one is having checks and balances, and after investing some bucks, they have a good return through corrupt people who are always ready to go with them.
In the last few years in our country, billions of USD have gone out of the country just because of corruption, and people are facing the worst situation because they do not have enough sources and chances of increasing their earnings, with things getting to the lowest level, but no one cares about this; all are having their own interests for transferring money and their own families out of the country.

I think that the states that are economically weak, the citizens on that road cannot improve much. However, even if it is an underdeveloped country, if the employment is high, the people will not have much problem. Because they can be financially independent people. But if the government is too strong militarily, there will not be much opportunity to do criminal activities within the country. Because even if the state is economically weak, the law should be strictly followed. However, to deal with bad situations, criminal acts should be avoided as there is risk to life.

If you read my comment very well I said that in the aspect of a country being underdeveloped due to poverty that is not the case in every country, making such statement means that I'm aware of the fact that not all countries that are portrayed as poor are not really poor, I centered my comment around the fact that that in such countries their wealth are being mismanaged by their corrupt leaders which is see in almost every third world country today like Nigeria and some other parts of Africa, this is why they have a poor economical structure.

In most countries the youth community has the mentality of criticizing every government and they find an opportunity to protest against injustice. If they do not like many decisions taken by the government, they criticize and stand against that work. For example, if a foreign institution is given responsibility for good and quality development work, a community in the country will criticize it and oppose that work. If you criticize the positive work done by the government for opposition, it will not be fair.

The chair of power of leaders is very comfortable. Once those who sit in power, they do not want to leave that coveted place because at the state level they get a lot of opportunities for corruption and earn money. The people of the country should speak out against those leaders and criticize them and expose their corruption by publicizing them so that other leaders do not get the opportunity to do that corruption again. Constructively criticize those leaders and boycott them during elections.
