Yep. In percentage terms, it’s probably a good idea to set aside 10% of your winnings to keep gambling and withdraw the rest. But in the example you gave, the amount is quite small. I mean, there’s not much point in trying to gamble with just $10. For example, in slots, that amount will often be wasted quickly, even with the minimum bet.

On the moment that you are winning, then it would really be giving out that kind of boost up on which you would really be mainly thinking that you can do this all day on which its true that you would really be that become careless and instead on making up some cashout, you would rather be continuing just because your emotion heightened up and this is what mostly happen for most gamblers and then later on they would really be having those regrets just because they've been not able to cash it out and instead losing it back again into the house and thats the reality. This is totally true and I would say that I have a bit of experience with this feeling. So one good day, I won quite a lot from parlays in Premier league games, withdrew half of the money and left the rest in betting account so I could place more bets. The excitement after the win affected my decision making and it was like the games obeyed my options.

Soon enough, I lost half of what was left in rational decision making and just then I realized this short-lived luck was never my intuition.  After a moment, I had to step back to have a rethink and withdrew what was left. Based on my own experience, yes, what you said is right. Even if a gambler has a daily quota, once they experience a winning streak, even if they've been in that situation many times before, they will often make the same mistake again. They get blinded by too much confidence, which eventually results in losing all their winnings.

Maybe part of the reason is that winning streaks don't come often, so they try to take advantage of it while luck is still on their side. The worst part is that they end up depositing again, sometimes multiple times, thinking they can do it all over again, until they lose those deposits too.

It's really not that easy to control yourself when you're in the middle of a winning streak. It's easier said than done. Once you're in that situation, it's a completely different story.

I actually don't think that it's about carelessness after a big winning, because even though you are very careful, you can still be losing money while gambling, what I think is the problem is greed, because once you become very greedy in gambling, you will start gambling beyond your set target . You will see a fellow that was only gamble with $500 now gambling with $10k just because the funds is available, for a bet that nothing is certain. So that is one of the ways that gamblers get themselves wrecked while gambling because being careful is still not a guarantee that you are going to win a bet more often.
