I personally am rooting for the USA because I live in the USA and I am loyal to my country, especially when I am mostly just interested in winning for that reason alone and im not the biggest futbol fan. best world cup bet...probably I would just try to bet against a couple of "major" teams that doesn't win the cup.
also, as happens with Qatar and Switzerland, surprises area always behind the corner. this is soccer (or football ), the ball is a sphere, everthing can happens.

Personally (even If I play semi-pro junior leagues) I can't watch a world cup without Italy.
this is the third edition without Italy.  During USA 94 they reach the Final. Now they cannot even join the final phase

The first games of the world cup habe been most rewarding and entertaining because I managed to have an accurate predictions in two of the game's that have been played out in the world cup so far, but certainly for now, we cant tell which team is the best team in this world cup right now, ony at the end of the tournament we will know which among those team is rewarded wirh that title of best team of the season.

In the group stage, this is a bet against the favorite: Underdog Double Chance, but only in the first round. After the first round, the results may be such that the favorites start playing seriously, so then you need to look at it in more detail. Currently right away I won't jeopardized my own feelings over someone out there and as we know it is something that involves money while gambling, I won't just any country because I have my money staked on the bet. What that is more important to me is to select and choose my bet wisely at least to know which would win, although in world cup you it is actually  hard to give direct winning to a particular country but you can go on either "Under or Over, Home or Away, including draws". Spain is at the top. Funny, I see a bet for later at hundreds of thousands of dollars for Spain to win -2.5 against Cape Verde. That's wild. There's so much trust for Spain to win later and in the World Cup. Well, who knows?

If you are talking about the first match USA played in this world Cup tournament which was against Paraguay, which the USA won by 4 goals to 1 goal from Paraguay, that was indeed an awesome performance by the USA national team but I am not surprised that USA won by that many goals, I would have been more surprised if USA for some reasons failed to win that match, it was their first match in the world Cup opening and they were playing at home also, they had every reason to win the match so it's not a surprise to me.

Now, speaking about who or which nation would likely win the world Cup this season, I would go with France.
France and Argentina battled for the world Cup in the finals in 2022 and Argentina ended up winning, I want believe that France has prepared well enough to try and win the Cup this season since they failed last season in 2022.

I have not won a single match in this World Cup so far and I have lost $130 in this World Cup. I have lost some sure matches like in the match between Canada and Bosnia I lost my first bet of $30. I supported Canada as a strong team but Canada drew with Bosnia. Similarly in the match between Brazil and Morocco I bet on Brazil as the winner but Brazil drew with Morocco and I lost $60. So this World Cup is not going well for me so far and I hope I can get back on my good luck streak and I will definitely win this World Cup and make a profit.

Lol, alot of people including my self will only be rooting for their country in the world cup and unfortunately my country just didn't qualify. Not that we don't have good players I just don't know why our players failed us during the qualifiers. But regardless of that, it's still a season of fun, we all are free to enjoy the game or support any country we fancy the most. I made a few bets on the very first game between Mexico and south Africa. I actually placed bets on south Africa to win since it was an African country, though not one I like at all. My best world cup bet would be that Portugal would win the finals, its a big risk game since it's basically next to impossible to see who's going to be in the finals right now but i want Portugal to win so if I'm going to call any bet the best it would be Portugal winning the finals.

Sadly, Haiti lost to Scotland yesterday and ended their 36-year wait for victory in the tournament. It's quite disturbing to think that a loss for one team is an elevation to the other, but that's the beauty of the game of soccer. I hope she doesn't get to realize that and most importantly, I hope they're able to win the 2 matches and move to the next phase of this competition.

I know how obsessed you are with the USA, probably because it's your country but do you want to know the truth? They won't make it past the early knockout stages. We weren't able to make it to the world cup so for me, I just want to see other African states succeed.

That statement was quite dumbfounding, supporting your country and not watching their opening match doesn't show loyalty or support. Placing a bet on any country due to sentiments or favoritism is only going to make you end up losing. I place my bets based on logic and strategy and not because I support a team.

We can't bet our money on football just by depicting the heartwarming and their struggle in the qualifying phase for the world cup. Let's take Cabo Verde, for example, who just qualified for their first major football competition, the World Cup. And Cabo Verde's match against Spain just kicked off a few minutes ago. Would you be willing to bet your money on that country (Cabo Verde)? It's definitely not possible, right? It's different if you bet on your own country, it's a form of nationalism for the country you live in, betting on your own country is much better than betting on other countries even if the results don't match your expectations.

It is still early to talk about best world cup bet because it is barely days it started but of course we can name our teams. For now, I believe Morocco has done well with their first match, scoring first against Brazil and holding them to a 1:1 draw is some good performance. Morocco has the best world cup record in Africa with a semi final world cup performance. So I will be looking at their other performance and hopefully they go far again in this tournament.

I'm still following each game, I'm not going to bet on which team could win the World Cup, I prefer to bet on each game until the final. At this point, it's very difficult to know which team has the potential to win the World Cup; some teams haven't even played their first game yet. As for your favorite team, the USA, they've shown some potential, but although they are the hosts, I highly doubt they'll reach the World Cup final. I'm not underestimating them, but given the large number of strong teams, honestly, I don't see the USA reaching the final.

There isn't a best world cup bet. There are many possible outcomes, because nowadays teams are much more balanced than in editions from previous decades of the championship.

But regards favorite teams, I'm enjoying to watch USA playing, as it's quite entertaining. Fast movements, agility and a lot of will to make it work. Their match against Paraguay was my favorite so far. I also enjoyed watching the match between Scotland and Haiti. These are teams I would like to see reaching ahead on the competition. I'm not rooting for consolidated teams like Germany, Spain and France.

AS looked good in the opening match, that's an extraordinary result for the hosts. I have a few teams as favorites for this World Cup edition: Spain, France, and Portugal. But looking at the players in the teams, I think France and Portugal will be stronger. The competition has just started, so maybe we’ll see new surprises in the knockout stage.
