I keep reading people who think they can beat the odds which were calculated by ton of years of data analysis and maths, guys it doesnt matter at all the market i know it could see like some markets are better than other but in the reality they are not, is only odds and nothing more, i know is rough and not good to hear but is only like that.

It's simple as that but don't belittle the years of experience and analysis that are being done by sportsbettor. I’m talking about over and under bets. Like in the NBA, if you bet over 210.5 and the total score already goes above that number, your bet is already won. You don’t need to care who wins the game anymore. That’s different from betting on the winner as even if your team is leading big, it can still be scary until the final buzzer. We have seen teams blow big leads before, so a 20 point lead does not always feel safe.

The reason people bet on points wins is usually because they're true sports fans and enjoy the game to the end. I'm part of this, and I don't focus on just one category of sports betting. I enjoy not just football, but other sports like boxing and esports as well. I enjoy the game and the betting.

It is more profitable than selectig the winner, the risk is very slim. It is like minimizing the rate or level of risk. Why I like this option is that sometimes we gamble and win almost all game on the ticket and suddenly 1 or 2 games cut our tickets, and we started regretting why we didn't make that bet a total betting which allows us to set boundaries of how many game to win . If we use this strategy it will reduce losing drastically. It is very good.

I rarely do sports betting and once I do sports betting even then I do it on the team I champion and I don't bet on points but bet on the team that will win, I don't think points betting is more exciting but for those who like it must have their own reasons and I want to know one of the reasons.
 
What I think is that betting on points seems to be more difficult than betting on the team that will win, because even if we for example are right with the team we choose getting the points we specify but with the team we don't choose the points are different, does this mean our bet loses?

Betting on total is more likely preferable than picking a winner to me, it's less tense. Though both methods are cool,and every gamblers knows what works best for them and need to stick with the favourable method except they want to try other means too. Must people prefer betting on total while some people like picking the winner this is actually for those who knows the games well and the strength of the team playing, the truth remains that must time a team might win or loses the game when we least expected, this is why I think the total betting is more better to work with though the wins is not even guaranteed. I bet more on goals/points than I do on winners. I can count how many of my NBA best for last season were on the winner. It's usually bet on first half overs, a particular team over and a few times, I bet in quarters.
The same with football. In fact, I have won two World Cup bets since the tournament started, and they both overs. For the World Cup, I focused on over 1.5, over 2.5 and sometimes BTTS. Yesterday, I had a parley that was just a team to score over 1.5 goals, and they all delivered.

I can't say it's more profitable, but it works better for me. This way, I don't need to be worried about who wins; I just want points or goals from both teams. When I'm watching the game, I enjoy it better this way, too, because I'm rooting for both teams to score instead of rooting for just one team, and I get frustrated when both teams keep missing chances 

I believe that before the end of the group stage, I would be profitable with my over picks. I am already in profit as it is.

It doesn't matter whether you bet on totals or wins because it takes luck to win a game. A single mistake or deliberate action by players can alter the course of the game and this explains why an underdog can win or draw points with a favorite team even when they are said to be in form. I'd first look at the activity of both teams, as the more active a team is, the more goals they'll score. But on the other hand, these teams can offset each other. But even if whole team stays in defense, much stronger teams still manage to score. The most recent example, FIFA World Cup match between Spain and Cabo Verde. Who would have though that this game would end 0:0 ? Spain did 27 attempts to score. 3/4 of game time Spain controlled the ball, made almost 3 times more passes. How to bet on totals in such a game. Bet over 0.5 and still lose... While this was a game where at least there must be 1 goal...
