I totally agree with you because everything you said is a fact. Does bear market flush out scams? I don't really know but I don't agree with that. Many rug and pulled projects out there, don't have to wait for the bear market to dump on investors. The fact is that the bear season in general is use to balance the market after a long bullish trends. But we don't have to wish for the bear to accumulate bitcoins. We have strategies that have shown to be consistent enough with bitcoin long term investments. For long term holders, the bear season offers them even more opportunity to buy more bitcoins to their holdings.. some people on the other hands gets scared that the season might not be coming to an end and they might just end up losing all their investments capital, but it's not correct..

As we all see and notice that  most people celebrate the bull market because that is when everyone would be seeing the profits, but the real opportunities are usually created during the bear market. For sure, the bear season could be a turning point for most bitcoin investors as they get the opportunity to buy bitcoin when the price is low and then if the price goes up they sell for a more higher price and make lots of profits compared to others who bought when it’s high. But this sorts of mindset is usually associated with traders who wants to make quick profit  and thinking bitcoin can make them rich overnight. I completely agree with the argument you have presented about making a profit. I am involved in a production-oriented project from where I learned this instruction you gave. We were taught that if someone cannot win by buying raw materials, then if they sell the product at a combination of production cost and buying price, there will be a loss.

During Bitcoin investment, if we can continue to buy regularly and keep this process long term, we can only make a profit.
